My DR bucks is on the Beat.

If I was to take a giant risk: Sambabus but I'm feeling the Toyota Sports 800 '65 for some reason. I'll go with that.

Hopefully it isn't (and shouldn't be) the Mazda Demio. A different car to the last is at least used for each consecutive N100 race so that crosses one off.

It probably will be the Beat because we all know how PD love to bring back repeats.

I was going to race tonight...but decided to have a go at the time trial with the Pink Pig (Except mines black). Now I'm too tired to feel like doing a race . BTW ranked lower than 2000 :p. So tomorrow, it's Bathurst with the Holden Mustang ;).

Ok......my Manu race did not go as planned. I thought I had logged good lap time in practice, but could not convert for the race.
Ended up starting LAST in a pretty competitive room. I was 1.7 sec behind the leader.
If I had done low 1:59s in the qualifying I would have started 8th. (My best time in Practice was low 1.58)
It was a rough race and I managed to punt a poor soul and it gave me 4 seconds.
At the end of the day I ended 15 after some battles in the later stage of the race that I actually enjoyed. Netted 84 points.

I noted that there seemed to be no track limit in the last chicane. See the picture below that show someone clear on the other side of the curb.

The video I posted is a funny moment when in the end of the 14th lap emotions started to get out of control for two drivers (Im the Aston that barely made it out of that situation)

I’m calling Beat as well, old one. :)

Edit: Man, every day this week the merry go round has had a 10+ million credit car on it and not once did I even come close to getting it. I don’t remember even seeing one on there before this week.

I've had the 330 P4 from the wheel of disappointment.

I wish it offered the option to discard duplicates. Constantly going to the garage to discard them is a drag and if you don't manage your garage it becomes a PITA.

I'm doing low 2:00 laps currently at race B, still finishing 12th lol. 18.8K DR left, almost 10K down today but my lap times have improved from 2:05 to getting close to getting a 1:59 lap. I did finish 8th one race, a dirty one with lots of fallout. Best finish of the day, only lost 7 DR in that one

That’s an insane amount of lost DR!

I quit race B after two races and losing 1.7k DR and entering the races as A/S.

On my alt account I have raked in 2k DR entering as B/S. I’m staying away from that Maggiore mess!

My DR simply adjusts to the type of race and track. Racing from the back in a daily B naturally crashes it down. Spa brought it up last week, while the tall spikes are all N24 and Nordschleife :)

Such a good measure of race speed

3 more races on B today, pretty messy at the back of the grid but managed one CRB.
However can someone explain how the car numbers work? I understand your race number is your expected finishing position. So why in a field of B/S where I'm qualifying 12th, or 14th, do i have race numbers of 3 and 4? Everyone ahead is quicker so why am i expected to gain 10 positions?
Another day of DR drop despite gaining a couple places at most races

It's not your expected finishing position. It's just where you current DR stands compared to the other entries. DR lags behind, if you do enough races like me, your DR score will be sort of accurate for that race at the end of the week. It still won't be for everyone else though.

DR depends on a lot of things
- Shorter races, qualifying times have a big influence
- Longer races, consistency and race speed
- Matchmaking, time of day, day of the week, luck of the split, alt accounts / resets soaking up points

In the end all that matters is finishing position. Yet how much DR that's worth all depends on the people you're matched against. You can gain DR finishing 10th or lose DR finishing 2nd.

What Sven said. I jumped into one of the Gr.4 Race C events at DTS a few weeks/months back. I was the only A rated driver on the grid. My pole time was a full 2 seconds faster than 2nd.

Door number? 15.

Door number has a lot of PD logic thrown into it's equation.

I get a ridiculous amount of rally cars. :grumpy:
I got a $20,000,000 car just once, and it was about 2 years ago.

@Pigems I just noticed that it does not say One-Make for tomorrow's A race. Does it always say that if it is just one car?

Decided to take a break from GTS. Been slowly trying to stream more consistently but the daily combos have been brutal. And can't get in to the FIAs lately.

Going to break it all down and start over again by streaming GT5 and GT6, wanted to fall in love with this series again, and drive around some tracks that I've missed. Hoping to do that Mondays and Wednesdays but we'll see what happens!

Hey guys. Its been a while. Haven't been on here in ages, but I still try to get some races in every week, and I usually put up a time in all 3 daily races, though often only have time to really work on one. I typically try to get within 1 second of @Pigems time. This week I smoked him on Q in the B race:D. I'm waiting for him to hop in the Renault and lay down a :57. I gotta say that thing really rails the corners when you're smooth, and has just enough on throttle oversteer to keep a line on accel. It's tough in a race with people hounding you from behind since it likes classic, sweeping lines. Hopefully I'll see some of you on track. Still looking for my first win this week. Too many mistakes, and too many divebombers. Best race (not finish!) Was with a 911. He took 2nd, I got 3rd with a best lap of 59.6. A bit of bumping and rubbing, but nothing that did more than swap paint. That's what keeps me coming back.
Btw, any cars that can no stop race C on full power (short shifting?)

Had myself a good week at Fuji. Aside from my 1st race of the week I gained DR every race and stayed SR blue. Only 1 race or 2 per day. Had 1 win and few podiums, finished mostly in the top 5.

Got my course stat for Fuji (short) up to 49 top 5 finishes in 85 starts. Which makes it my best performing track.

Only because it comes up so many times. If GT Sport was an arcade game, the default combo would be the 86/BRZ on Fuji.

Good to see ya.
I no stopped in the Lexus, but I highly recommending putting for tires and running med med. pit is 14-15 seconds. If you no stop you will get mobbed if you are not way ahead by the time the stoppers (everyone) come out.
Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Been racing mostly B since my C races haven't ended well. Got some free time today...maybe I'll get lucky and hold on for a win.

Having a quick blat on C to improve my time. Any pad users got any tips for this as I'm watching Tidgney's lap and the difference is mystifying. He's 10 mph faster downhill into the carousel type corner. Similar into and through the fast downhill sequence (the first right hander is horrible) and 10mph faster at the apex of the tight left-hander at the bottom of that hill. All I get at the same speed is understeer. Looking at the throttle application, there's nothing mysterious there.

I've won loads of races on this course in Gr.4 when it has been used. I've given up on the Renault, the handling and power delivery is just too spikey for me. 1:57 might be my hard limit on this combo., though I've opts in the 1:56 and again the number of people putting in 1:56s (200+) suggests it's not that hard.

Good week at Autopolis. The last section has such a nice flow throughout. My DR has been been static at 12k, and I still love B so much more than C or D. There do seem to be more "I'm having a crappy race, therefore I'm going to ruin yours as well" types. 👎 Last night I got the satisfaction of gently nudging a guy off at T6 after he spent the majority of his time flashing brights and ramming into everyone who passed him. Little 🤬. I haven't wrapped the MOTUL GTR in TRUE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL yet, but I did find this cool old-school livery. I wish Technics would sponsor me IRL, for basically anything. Maybe for nudging off jerks?

Edit: I found the livery; made it sound like it was made it. I did not. I don't have the patience for that many decals.
