Looking a bit slow on race C this morning in Asia.
Gran Turismo™SPORT_20191118103133.jpg

And that feeling when you see a D/D driver behind you on turn 1 at Autopolis!
Got lucky, he took out the guy in third and I was 10 sec up after lap 1, 14 after lap 2 when the D/D guy quit. I got lucky, I only finished 1 sec ahead, but did get an official win for the first time in months.

Um, what the hell is slung over the shoulder of that guy in your avatar?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Can't unsee his avatar now.

I just noticed that it does not say One-Make for tomorrow's A race. Does it always say that if it is just one car?

I don't know if this was answered (I didn't see one) but it always says "NX00 | Specially Provided Car" for Race As whether it's one-make or not.

I don't remember there being an N100 race with a choice of car so while unlikely, I can't rule out the possibility.

We've had races where it said Gr.4 One-Make and the Huracan was the only car you could use from the class. Can't remember if they do that with the Ns. The current race A says Specially Provided Car, but there is a car choice. I don't know. Maybe they're just not consistent with how they label it.

Thinking it will be like the 86/BRZ this week, but what sister cars are N100? Mini vs Fiat 500?

I don't remember a Gr.4 one-make with the Huracan only the Scirocco and TT Cup, I may have missed it. I think you're right: I searched and found the Scirocco one-make at Maggiore was labeled "Gr.4 One-Make".

Probably an inconsistency in labeling or it only it's only labelled that way for classes other than the NX00 series.

Trueno/Levin, which I would definitely prefer over the Beat. 👍

I completely forgot the Trueno/Levin were both used at Fuji a few months back so might be a choice tomorrow. I'd prefer them as well, I can't drive the Beat.

I did a test run for the daily C. Doing a no stop will be torture, pit stop recommended and you might as well change tires if you drive like me  It's about a 22 minute race from the back with pit stop. Since it starts 3 minutes after plus another minute added at the end, 4 minutes to re-enter the race this time. Decent time for a race finally, fast track, just a bit bland. It won't hold my attention next to Mount Panorama.

Unfortunately Mount Panorama hardly lasts for 7 minutes 30 from the back, 20th to 4th against 'pro' AI. The top 3 for the AI... Sirocco, TT cup, Megane :banghead: Race B and C really should be swapped! Anyway I can get lots of stuff done in between B races with over 11 minute wait until the next one starts, 35 minutes per hour!

Race C will be good to restore SR when Bathurst goes bat**** crazy. SR estimates:
Race A 3 laps 12 sectors about 5 SR for a clean race
Race B 3 laps 12 sectors about 5 SR for a clean race
Race C 15 laps 45 sectors about 18 SR for a clean race

@Sven Jurgens,
B race at Panorama will be a sea of Meganne. If there’s no livery expect dirty behavior. I found last time watchout if people come up on your outside on the mountain because of tap wall tap pen for you.
For me, it ruined the racing last time, but this time I will use the Mustang and look to pass around the outside when I shouldn’t.
They hit me they get pen. I’m not planning on entering much, but if I do it will be alt, and open game on any stock yellow Meganne. I say that now, because if I do enter there’s several individuals I will make suffer.
Liveried Meganne drivers are usually solid.
I could post replays of me in a Merc surrounded by like six or seven yellow Meganne and I can tell you last time it did not end well for me.
I reccomend anyone who is not super fast in a Meganne to stay away from this one...
I’d be curious what you think of the Mcclaren. I found it highly underrated several months ago but didn’t try it last time.
Seems to me like it’s aero makes it tough to catch on straights, if you could test it I would be very curious what your take is on it.

@Groundfish I expect my SR to tank tomorrow, Monday at Bathurst from the back is already trouble without Meganes. I'll try some different cars including the maclaren but don't feel like driving FF cars this time. I've already done my CRB GR.4 sheet for Mount Panorama in June and the same combo was on again just over a month ago. I ignored it that time since it was up next to Tokyo in the rain!!! Looks like PD really wants me to do 3 lap sprint races on a track not suited at all for sprint races :banghead:

Yep.
What would be cool is if you keep track of EVERY Meganne you overtake fo the week. The car you use would be irrelevant. We could all guess the number and see who is closest at the end of the week...
EDIT or not. “this one time at band camp, we guessed about overtake” :)

My first race on Sardegna. Entering in 3,2,1....

Looking forward to this one since I only have raced the reverse layout so far.

Édit:did the Viper on a no-stopper. Won 6 places by starting from the back. To many push to pass people. They just shove me off the track because I defended my line and tires were worn down..such a shame since 7th was in there.

No stopper with the Citroën works as well. FL1 as with the Viper. Just a little bit more thirsty but better on the tires. Still would go for the Viper since you don't run out of fuel or just before start/finish.

NO qualy. Started dead last. Fuel 1 for the first lap. Set Fuel 3 and watched the mileage slow right down. Set Fuel 1 AT start of lap 11. FInished with 0.3 laps left in the tank. Tyres held up pretty good.

IN Arcade Time Trial, at the mountain, I did a 13.6 in the Cayman versus a 14.5 in the Vantage. Starting off with the Cayman and see how it does. No qualy.

Edit: Got 3 secondfs for that out of control 650S at the Cutting.

This plain silly. RC Z couldn't shake me. I even let it recover when it hit the wall between the Cutting and Reid Park. Good stuff.
