I guess South Americans use USA accounts now to hide?

Yep. They sure do.
This is the reason why segregating the region didn't work before and won't work again.

On the other hand, some of my best friends to race with are Brazilian... there are decent ones out there. (I shouldn't even have to say that.) BUT...

It is rare for me to have a day where the "Senna Card" doesn't get played against me at least once, to my detriment and their benefit. And some days are absolutely, under any circumstance, DO NOT TOUCH OR GET TOUCHED BY SOUTH AMERICA.

To avoid get tumble down DR and SR rate by place the first three qualify time. That's was and still my goal before I even race. You have to figure out the avg of qualify time of other cars in the order you near the top or place top. So some tracks I wasn't able to achieve. Either keep trying/learn or walk away. I don't involve race with poor qualify time.

So how do you pass a yellow Megane? I don't know. I had a much better corner exit from hell's corner, was ahead for a bit on the straight but Megane acceleration, then this happens as always.

I'll continue to report every Megane I see.

Gr3 is fine because there’s really no OP car and it mostly weeds out the truly horrendous,
I knew what was up Monday, this time I was prepared. Top rooms are good mostly, but a good player with a Megane is almost unbeatable.
The Cayman in race is easy pickings up Mt straight and down Conrod. Plus it doesn’t handle contact.
Very nice driving though to get 13 flat in it.
I believe the Mcclaren has more power.
I already knew going in about this race. :(

This looks like another lag cheat or just very fortunate to drop connection in corners... It was an Argentinian switching between 3 bars and 2 bars during the race. He did end up with a 3 second penalty for that 'move', I gained 1 SR in that race, woot.

I wouldn't mind a reverse version for Bathurst, the views are quite nice!

Next race matchmaking went down to SR.B. It was a lot cleaner lol. I finished second with a nice precision pass.

Time to get the kids, then the schools are out and I guess back to SR.B myself

Try out the Cayman GT4 at the mountain. That car is fantastic around there 👍
That's why I've been saying. :gtpflag:

Was gifted an orange Scirocco. Started dead last 15/15. Behind two Meganes and the field were all Meganes & RC Fs and one Vantage(12:10 AM).

I couldn't touch the Meganes on straight acceleration, but my 3rd gear cornering and Scirocco brakes were keeping me close. The Vantage got a penalty and it seemed out classed in this field. I was in a room with 11 second lap times, compared to my 14.079(initial Mustang qualy). Finished 13/15. Done with that.

Good one. Had a cotroen in my last race. That thing keeps good pace on worm tyres and must have excellent economy.
Yeah, citroen is great if you are looking for an advantage in race C. I bounced between that and lexus to start the week but wasn't shifting it right. You shift super early in that thing for no loss of speed. It hates being thrown around so as long as you are smooth the tires nearly don't wear at all. Weakness is high curbs like at sardegna and cones launch it to spinsville if you are even 1 pct off.

That's the car I caught kie cleaning up with in his stream and even with that i only saw 1 other citroen all night. He was the A/S (hole) who didn't accept being passed by me twice in the opening stages of the race and proceeded to beat my race to death. Great car once you get used to it but it hates being pushed, have to drive it very smooth, but then it is super stable, especially when coasting.

Edit: when I mean shift early I mean I only see the rev light on the start and never again through the race. Tight corners are 3rd gear, immediately to 4th on the exit. Hit 6th gear at 110mph. Crazy early but it stays with nearly everything else.

Yeah, the player I was battling, was losing the rear from time to time. Still pretty fast car.

Yep back in SR.B after an idiot in a Mustang. Blue white blue flag, dunno what that is. He called it defensive driving, brake checking mid corner, swerving into the middle of the braking zone. Matchmaking should be better in SR.B anyway.

Sounds like argentinian flag. Not known as dive bombers but huge machismo culture so probably treat them with caution. Used to work with a lot of them, quite a few had the 'you can never beat me I will win at all costs' disease. Some were cool. We hung out with the latter, sounds like you got the former.

Argentina has the sun in the middle of the white, Honduras has stars in the white, El Salvador has some mountain emblem in the middle, Nicaragua a triangle. No clue what GTS uses. Could be Argentina, they have the original plain blue white blue.

Anyway CRB in SR.B despite getting bumped off. Long way back up. At least far less people game the penalty system in SR.B, they simply ram you off

CRB again, +2 SR, time to switch to race C. I got rammed off again, twice by the same Brazilian Megane.

2:20 best lap lol. Race B is toxic right now.

That SR column shows a bloodbath there. Better you than me

I guess South Americans use USA accounts now to hide? I got rammed and spun by a US Mustang starting behind me who took out a couple more cars before he crashed himself later. I called him out, he starts typing things like Puta and Concha. I check his connection, 174 ms ping, that's Brazil... He left with a red B.

I had similar comments aimed at me when Mexico came online on IRC when guys tried to pick me up and I turned them down . My reply was "Yes I am and you can't afford me."

. Beemer and Veyron are too slow at the mountain.

And yet I set my personal best with the Veyron. I also got my first win at Bathurst with it :p.

Ugh, it was going well. I got into 3rd again with the Ferrari no stop. I made room for 4th to pass, no problem. Then an Argentinian is closing in. I expect him to dive in T1 but he stays behind, fine. So he pit manoevers me in the next sharp left not being able to hold his line :banghead: He drives off of course, no penalty since I didn't leave the road, just turn backwards stopped in the middle. I finish 6th. It turns out to be another DR.S player, blaming me for being slow. That's the third DR.S asshole today. (Btw he was the only one with a red rating in the room, I kept the CRB despite the spin out)

Next race it was a Canadian in an Atenza
AGB4VQY.gif

The excuses are what bother me the most, the things he said after: "I had the corner" "I made the apex" "You turned in on me" Of course the game gives me SR Down as well. I saw him coming, didn't aim at the apex, get punted off, game blames me.

There are people that know how to race. The guy with a TRL tag in front of me made a great clean pass. I didn't have to jump out of the way or make extraordinary evasive maneuvers as usual. Sadly, nowadays that's rare. And this was in the max SR room. I already lost the CRB early from a penalty serving Canadian who immediately started bumping me right after. Predictable, stay clear of people with penalties. Great idea to put them behind innocent bystanders PD!

Dinner time, race C can go suck it. Mountain after dinner!

I got into SR A with a couple of S drivers & this is what I get:

I believe the video above is one of those rare 'dive bomb' moments. Instead of being hot about the whole thing, I should feel like David Attenborough capturing an endangered species in the wild. :irked:
