14 I thinkAnybody knows hom many sr pts for CRB at Sardegna?
Genesis or ViperWell found my "secret weapon" for the "mountain" yesterday but I have to say the "extreme" SR reductions seem overkill as I did a test race with no qualy time and lost 20 SR points from one race!
So at that loss rate from 1 race I have to have at least 3 clean blue SR races to get back to where I was.
The point I am making here is that if you know you are going to loose 20 points for a bad race what's the point in even joining the race as I don't like having to be selective about what I do when it comes to my racing and gaming in general.
At least two of my accounts the SR is going back up but it will be a long process to get back to the heights of SR S.
Still have to do a qualy time for Race C so does anyone have recommendation for doing a good qualy time or which car I should actually do Race C with?
Thank you. I didnt set QT for C, so Ill try to do some racing from the back staying out of trouble.14 I think
I wish you the best of luck on that, I haven't tried from the back but one race I started 7th and it was chaotic in the beginning, other clean races were starting in 4th and upThank you. I didnt set QT for C, so Ill try to do some racing from the back staying out of trouble.

I dont care for dr as much as sr right now so I wont even try any overtakes or battles... Just want gain as much sr as possibble before tomorrow FIA... So I think it is managableI wish you the best of luck on that, I haven't tried from the back but one race I started 7th and it was chaotic in the beginning, other clean races were starting in 4th and up
Tyres are Racing Hard though, there'd be carnage if we have dry tyres on a wet track. It seems like RBR next week will be with wet conditions since there is only 4 laps while last RBR Gr.4 was 5 laps.
There are always exceptions... it's impressive to me that you can do that, though I'd offer that I would assume the d-pad has some hard-coded 'help' to assist in lieu of FF and the tactile inputs from a wheel... (please... to be clear: don't mean to start THAT debate again with the comment!).
But the physics line up with the need to take the TCS off... for example the RWD cars with nicely tuned diffs... if you are using the TCS limits, the error band of that control probably clips the available torque such that the diff won't drive, and thus won't turn the car, lowering max corner speeds

PD don't seem to want to make A and B longer than 7-8 minutes which is probably why they shortened it

Aston Martin vantage is good as well. Not as twitchy thru S's as viper is for me. Good top speed as wellGenesis or Viper
I'll dispute that. I have been as high as 36K and my natural speed in a SRS room is around 27 to 28k and I use TC2 on most cars. With an auto and the D-pad.[/QUOTI will also dispute and agree with Neville . I have been as high as A+ DR always having traction control set at 2 for GR3 and above. even when i was on the d-pad and driving Auto trans TC always at @2. Now on g29 and Manuel TC @ 2. what works for some doesnt always work for all
I have always driven with TC @ 2 for GR3 and above. Current DR is A right around 37,000 been as high as A+ around 60,000Cold hard fact: you need to learn to drive with TCS at 0 to be competitive in mid/high B DR and above rooms. I tried to avoid this truth but it wasn't until I put in the time to get comfortable with the TCS off, that I was able to jump up from the 20k-ish range and be more competitive consistently.
This is after you already understand that any of the other driving aids must also be off, with the exception of the ABS (normal), and you use MT.
It's funny, after you get used to the TCS 0 in any of the cars, you can 'feel' where the car is slowing you down when you turn it back on.
This is true even for wet surfaces, perhaps even more so... you'd think it would be ok and that the TCS must be more capable than you at keeping it pointed straight, without speed penalty, but in fact it's the opposite... the TCS really slows you down in the rain. I was able to lap >1 sec a lap faster with the TCS off at Spa, compared to 1, in the recent FIA race on a wet track.
But as to the original question: just keep practicing! There is no substitute for track time. None. The only beginner tip that is worth repeating over and over: slow in / fast out... especially obvious when you drive the Fugu Z at Tokyo. Any time you give up on the entry to the turn is payed back 2x on the exit and following straight. Those runs off the corner are twice as important as the speed you carry into the corner. Watch your lap delta in the HUD get further and further into the blue, and that triangle stay pointed up, when you learn to ease off the entry earlier and earlier, and apply the throttle smoother and earlier on exit again and again. That car repays your confidence in that approach big time.
Funny how that works... same has happened to me before, though less dramatic. But getting knocked back sometimes turns out to be a blessing. I did well at the Willow Run Mitsu GTO SR rehab series a few weeks ago, after getting perilously close to a reset for bogus SR penalties that week.So far this week in Race A I've done 25 races with 14 poles, 16 wins, and only finished outside the Top 5 once, when I accidentally punted the leader into Turn 2 then parked to wait for him. I also successfully recovered my DR back to over 40k after the reset at Monza last Sunday. Honestly if I hadn't gotten that reset, I never would've even attempted the Dailies this week to recover, and I never would've found out how much I actually enjoy the Race A combo. It really makes me regret not doing the FIA Nations race with the same car...
Actually I just realized the Nations race was at a different version of TokyoFunny how that works... same has happened to me before, though less dramatic. I am also bummed I didn't run the Nations Fugu race at Tokyo, I think I would have done well and it would have been a fun one. I missed it for being out of town, not by choice though. I have really enjoyed the Race A this week, even if I've been less successful as you, and not had the time to run it as much, but I have gathered a few wins there on my main account and used it to kick start my new Alt account. It's been pretty easy to run top-3 no matter what happens.
I think the driving style and fun of the Fugu was similar for the version of the track used for the Nations race... I had practiced it a bit and I think if you enjoy the Daily this week, it would have been fun in that race too. Lots of the sweeping curves on the curb and with the walls on exit, and a couple of hard hairpins to keep you honest. But anyway, it's under the bridge now.Actually I just realized the Nations race was at a different version of Tokyo. I'm not so sure I'd have done that race after all!
Also since I don't like most of the Daily combos, when one comes along that I do like, I spam it as much as possible. Unfortunately I missed the Gr. 1 race at Sardegna.
Pretty much there, feel like 19.17 pops up a lot when I think I’m doing okWhats your sector 1 timenkn average. I'm doing 19.1 to 19.3, are you slower than that? If a bill help, if not I'm shutting up![]()
Got punted on lap 1, from pole, ended up with a 2 second penalty to boot.
Decided to just finish the race and try for a fastest lap. Didn't think it would end like this.
Hope the video is ok. First time sharing one, any tips are welcome on the video sharing. Cheers

I have Zero idea how to regularly beat a 19.1 and dont feel I lose a thing to DRA guys at that pace. Its turn 2 where they start to gap me and the fast right after the cutting.Pretty much there, feel like 19.17 pops up a lot when I think I’m doing ok
I thought for sure, especially after all that pushing, that one of them was going to put you in the wall, glad they didn't and that your sensible driving was rewarded with the win. 👍
