2 Race C. Nice and mixed grip. No kiss no bump very safe and clean. Finished 1st and 2nd.:cheers: 2nd race was matched with the fastest guy on leaderboard. In the end, 2Xs away from him crossing the line. He was too fast.:bowdown:

Check out the stats of this 🤬 that I met yesterday at Monza. He rammed me off the track twice, and then proceeded to so the same to everyone else he got near. He then sends me a PSN message, telling me I'm a loser, with a picture of his level 50 page.

Note: 2137 races in 257 days is 8.3 a day.

Those are some ridiculous stats... I've never seen such inconsistency on a graph before:lol:

Actually some of the most fun in Sport Mode I've had yet was back a couple months ago when they had that week of one-make Raptor races. It was loads of fun slinging that huge thing around the tracks. Blue Moon Infield B and Big Willow were probably my favorite.

Something I noticed was that most people seemed to be having a bit more fun than usual and weren't taking themselves quite as seriously as they do in other races. The chat messages in the lobby before and after the race were particularly entertaining. First message I saw as soon as the lobby loaded was all caps...

"TRUCKS!"

Then the next guy said "nobody touch me, I'm hot lava." I was cracking up.

Unfortunately I decided to use that hot lava line once recently before a race in a B/A lobby (post reset), and as a result one driver intentionally punted me twice in the same race. Still waiting to see him on the track again some day.

Race B is just so fun that even if you take it seriously you still have a smile on your face :D

Oh man please please post some video footage with tv camera !!! Dont tell me you did not save a replay ? Or just upload the replay at least. Cant wait to laugh my ass off !

I had high hopes for the daily B to try some more oldies, yet the only new oldie (since N300 Suzuka) that is available for N400 is the Shelby Cobra. So I try that first, fun drive, last place, can't keep up at all. So I try the Mustang Mach 1 next as that was limited by the gear box on Suzuka which can now be changed. No need, it won't go over 210 kph on Brand's anyway, it can't keep up either. Maybe the Challenger R/T then, nope. Miura P400 Bertone prototype, fun but nope last again.

By now I'm realizing I'm basically time trialing, even more boring than qualifying. Sure there are a couple wrecks to pass in lap 1, yet by lap 3 I'm last again. So on to the GT40 then, the oldest, still the fastest. It makes sense since the others already struggled to keep up at a lower power cap. More power isn't going to fix the cornering, and tuning is something I stay far away from.

The GT40 isn't too bad, it get's me an 11th, 12th and 8th finish. I'm getting faster with it yet I want to drive that shiny Ferrari F40. First race I have to adapt again, 10th. Second race already up to 8th which could have been better if a Raptor hadn't been blocking in the first few laps after which I got stuck behind 3 other cars.

One more race then, see how far I can get, it starts well, going smoothly, gaining places, disconnected. Hence I'm here instead of racing. And now I see that disconnect was the final straw to drop back to DR.B and 5 SR loss. Suddenly down to 27.5k, from 36.9K yesterday from a little experimenting with cars. Penalty shield back up.

Next race is starting!

Got punted in T1, bumped off on the way to T5, then harassed by a headlights flasher for a couple of laps, managed to finish 8th again with blue S and no penalty. 100 DR loss, 98/99 SR, one more race for 1 more point. Famous last words.

Lats race went great. Finished 5th after a clean battle with the only other F40 on the track. 8 positions up wince I started 13th, still got hit from behind in T1 yet only a minor bump, no consequences. A F40 one make race would be fun, on Big willow!

Ahhh, I love a good Race C.

3 races at Interlagos tonight, my main motivation was to increase my SR before FIA but I also ended up taking one win, a 6th place (meh), and finished 3rd in a A/S lobby to close out the night. Went from 57 to 98 SR, and gained over 1000DR, so mission accomplished. Now let’s see if I can keep up that momentum at NurbGP tomorrow!
 
Race B could've been so great yesterday. But racing against 911s and X-Bows only, wasn't fun at all.
Tried the McLaren 650s first, the Audi R8 and in the last race the GTR R34. All fun to drive, but I just couldn't keep up with the Meta scrubs.
At least I had one great fight against an Alfa :)

Race C I didn't even enter, as the leaderboards promised one hell of a boring line-up.
Damn I hate all those try-hards who only pick the Top10 cars. Guess I tank my way back down to DR D or C! People there at least race for fun and pick what they want.

I really hope todays Race C offers more variety. Its one of my stronger tracks, so I guess I'll stuck in DR A :dunce:

I've had two great races this evening/morning. I nabbed a win in the N400 from a couple of A players with my alternate account. I used the Porsche with a Praiano tune on it. I tried the usual alternatives, but just couldn't match the times I was getting in the Porsche. I switched to my main account and just now finished the Scirocco A race. Dragon Trail Gardens is one of my best tracks. I worked my way to second place, and surprisingly got fast lap. But the best thing is I was rewarded with 1700 driver points (!!) and my DR is finally at A. My life is complete. Man, all week I've been getting 50 points here, 80 points there. Never thought it would happen.

Also, I've just run Race C and I noticed that you can now change your tyres compounds. RM are now available. I'm not sure that you can choose before the race though. And I don't know if this option was available yesterday, or just started today.

Perhaps we might see people reversing back into the pits during warmup for a quick change. Haha

That option certainly wasn't available in yesterday's Race C so could be a sign of changes perhaps for the start of FIA Season 2 test?

What would the best time be to ensure top place for Race B today (i.e starting in top 5)?

Third try I got a weird bug where the race started instantly with no time, and all the starting grid info still overplayed on the screen for the whole race, still let us all finish but we could barely see the road. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think there was a fellow GTPer with me, I have it all captured and I'll upload it tonight.

Now this makes things interesting. I wonder if the pit strategy changes in this race?

And also, why no heads-up from PD? A tweet from time to time would be very nice. Something like "we now give the options to use different tires and strategies for daily races. And we work hard on the balance..." and so on.
But no, this is PD :rolleyes:

Still, good to see they actually mix up things more frequently now. Even though they let us in the dark at any time.

Just completed a Daily race C about 30 mins ago. Quite interesting. Did not set qualifying time so started 16th, but ended up 4th at the end. The Medium or Hard tyre choice really surprised me.

I started on the hards and did a 6 lap stint, then changed to Mediums for 4 laps to the end. In my opinion, the Med are fast for 2 and a bit laps, then the performance drops off a lot on the 4th lap (even with lower fuel). Pretty sure some drivers started off on the Med, but they were in trouble early with tyrewear and heavy fuel and pitted on lap 4. If you're smooth and good with tyres, you might can get 5 laps with the Med, but you might lose a lot of time on the 5th lap.

I'd say 4 laps on medium and 6 on hards as the strategy to probably go for (10 lap race)

All on mediums and pit end of lap 5 is the way to go for race C (for me at least, being good at tirewear saving and fuel saving), definitely. But the FIA has 12 laps and not sure that RM will be allowed. We'll see.
