Love the 787B. No one uses it! Makes me feel like the real car at Le Mans with only one present, in the standard livery.

The more strategic player must be on later. Saw many "0" and "3", "4" Percentages of fuel at the pit stop. I was at 9, same as last night. In those two races, players were pitting with "14" and "16" percent left.

That LM55 was too much. You kept it smooth. I think you were the only one without a penalty. You and the R92CP were completely fair. I went off because the car wouldn't turn. Slowed right down in 2nd gear and it felt like the front lost downforce .

Yeah mate everyone had red dots half of them still had seconds of penalties left over and I was the only one with no dot haha.

Havent picked up the 787b yet need to get the credits together after buying the 250 GTO
 
Gave the Tomahawk a whirl at Le Mans. Solid car to drive, but it just couldn't keep up with the 2016 R18s. The BoP system gives an unfair advantage to the hybrids (2016 R18 and 919 especially) because the spec sheet only lists the internal combustion power output (which is low for Group 1 standards) and not the combined hybrid output which is typically around 900 horsepower. And as much as I like the LM55 it could be nerfed a bit.

Regardless, the Group 1 Tomahawk is great to drive. I imagine it could be well suited to technical circuits. Might try the 787B at Le Mans next.
 
Again, I pitted with 11% remaining in 6th place. Everyone in the pits were at 9, 0, 4, 3. I'm going flat out. If I can gap the 919 by 3 seconds, I can leave it behind. Once it gets ahead, even on the straights, I have no gap come the esses.

Got pipped at the very last corner, because I understeered and that awd grip from the LMP, left me hanging. Oh well, was fun.

Well I had some good racing last night and only used the four Grp C cars.

Been a long time since I have driven any of them but it was a very enjoyable experience and interesting to see that on the
straights they are extremly good at catching up with the newer Grp1 and VGT cars.

No wins but I did get a few top five finishes having started again from last place each time so I think I'll do it again today
before doing the more modern cars during the remainder of the week.
 
Any good recommendations for race B other than ford gt
I’ve used Porsche and Supra which are good
Want something else that isn’t really slow on the straights
The porsche I’m able to fight cos the handling is great and it just holds the slipstream
Supra has high speed understeer and unfriendly initial power band which I struggled with a bit

Any good suggestions? Tempted by the vw vision thing haven’t used it before

I used the AMG GTR it was competitive in a straight line.

I haven’t run any races yet (still getting used to GR3 with the new tire model) but I got my best Q time in the AMG. I believe it was high 157:xx. I refuse to ever use the meta car.

I second trying the Hyundai Genesis Gr.3. Decent speed, friendly, predictable handling, very stable under braking (and trail braking). Great car, very underrated! I'm impressed. Never thought I'd be diggin' a Hyundai!

same here, saw a couple of Hyundai's in the races I did last night, will try once I get home from work.
 
I just did a silly thing. Jumped into Race C with out enough time to qualify, just to get used to the car again after 24h. I was the only Group C and this time I was matched with 1 x DR/A, 8 x B, 4 x C and 3 x D. I started P11. I am usually one of maybe 3 Australians with mostly Japanese drivers making up the grid. Was strange to see so many Aussie flags :lol:.

The race starts and this time I was mugged before I even got to the first chicane. I really wasn't with it this race. I managed to spin out 3 times. I pitted P11 and came out P12. I was slowly starting to gain on P11 with the gap going from 12s down to 5, and the gap behind me going from 6s to 12s. I lost concentration in the dappled light and drifted into the armco along the sides of somewhere headed towards Indianapolis. The gaps changed and the guy behind was 5s away. In the end the race timed out with me in P12. I don't think I'll race any more tonight, the focus just isn't there.

DR dropped 300, SR still 99. Another day above DR 1 :odd:.

With my qualifying time of 3:24.1, I m constanly starting 15-20th at the moment. Got to cut out at least 2 more seconds to be at least in midfield. Luckily a lot of people cant handle the GR.1 cars in traffic, and I always make up 3-4 positions in the first round.

Do you guys change tires? Did it in the beginning, but find that I lose too much time to the drivers who dont

Of course I don't think they should ever do such a thing, but the comedy in people's reactions would be priceless. First of all 90%+ of racers would freak the 🤬 out and their heads would explode. The rants in this forum would be like " I was on my way to the win and the 🤬 in 2nd place hit me with a sidewinder, blowing my rear axle off. I'm sick and tired of people using their missiles unethically" Or something like that. :lol::lol::lol:

Ha, I though for a moment it was going to be the meta car as over half the grid were 787B's yesterday afternoon. The 2 o'clock race even had a 787B win! (17:55 finish time slow room) Must be a tune floating around somewhere. It went back to the R18 vs 919 again later. I did have a nice battle with another 787B while testing it, yet with the earlier braking and starting from the back it's a game of leap frog, get bumped in the next corner, passed out of the corner however good your exit and repeat. Make sure to get ahead before the porsche curvers

My best race with it was late at night with 7th place finish and clean race bonus.

I run lap 1 and 3 in fuel map 3 though so I can run full power in lap 2 to set a best lap for comparison with the other GR.1 cars, then a chance at improving that in lap 5 if I don't get timed out... Still needed 70% fuel for a 40.34 sec pit time. R18 won of course, luckily a slow one at 17:41 finish time so my 18:24 finish time was more than fast enough to get to the finish. My best lap was 'only' 4 sec slower than the leader's, that's 20 sec slower in the race, yet I finished 44 sec behind!

The low SR.S rooms have a bigger variety in cars. The more A/S in the room the more R18 vs 919 it becomes.
 
So I'm close to level up. DRC to DRB. Problem is (relatively a good one to have) all my points are from 1 track, Tsukuba.

For comparison, at Tsukuba I have 14 top 5 finishes in 26 races. At Dragon Trail Seaside I only have 6 top 5 finishes in 50 races.

My question is, do you think it's safe to increase DR on 1 track or be better rounded on all tracks?

I was able to qual with a 1:57.3xx with the vw vision. Its fast but has an off throttle understeer or it may be the BB (i may need to tinker with that a bit). It would probably do better in more capable hands than mine. Good luck.
