So this week i focused on DT-Gardens, managed to finally get a stable A - S rating and going towards A+ - S.
The racing with “top tier” drivers is very fun as they are very clean and fast. Managed to get 01:37.950 in qualifying with some brake bias tweaking. I dont use any assits in gr.4 ever, maybe TC1 in some gr.3 cars when in on the controller. Sometimes i play it on the controller, sometimes on the wheel, and with the wheel i seem to get more consistent and faster lap times than with the controller.
I dont care what kind of assists others use because i drive this way to have fun. If they are faster with assists, i dont really care because in real life assists are also used, so i see it as a personal preference and a way to be more consistent.
Thanks to everyone that raced with me this week on Dragon Trails - Gardens and cant wait for new races
 
My only race this week (so far) great race, lots of great racers, had an awesome field of DR C drivers the first 12 or so within 3 seconds.. only incident was this on the last lap...

Worst corner for overtakes if you can’t/don’t know how to stay in your line. I always pull out of the fight on this corner, or if i’m in front and race with good drivers, they pull out of the fight.
If i were in you, i would pull out and let them crash cause he would’ve gone wide, he was carrying too much speed

And I can remember thinking as I watched them down Conrod, "what the heck would it feel like to look in the rear view and all you can see is the grill of a Bentley about to eat you?" :lol: Pity they didn't continue in later years.

Edit: STILL can't race in sport mode!

I did my 2 races on Snoozuka again last night. I keep ending up in no mans land even though starting last with a widening gap in front and behind. My last race I ended up in 8th, 10 sec to the next car in front, 10 sec to the next car behind. So boring! I've steadily been bleeding DR this week as well, from 41.2k to 32.7k currently. Not that it matters for matchmaking, A+/S to B/S rooms in prime time with me stuck in the middle after overtaking the crash outs.

So I finished up the last endurance race on DT gardens in GT League. I had trouble keeping my eyes open yet got the clean race bonus, first place after 49 minutes, 630k payout. Then a couple more VGT races on N24 trying to find a car that drives a little bit normal. Got to 20 mil, spend it on the Mark 4 race car, which doesn't drive as nice as the 330 I already had. However, all cars bought again, credits and mileage points back to (near) zero. (It takes a ton of points to upgrade a 20 mil car)

One more day of Snoozuka. Perhaps today will be populated enough to get some competition mid field?

Clean race, pole and win at Suzi today. Back to SR:S :)

Feeling like I'm getting back on pace.
 
Been racing this weekend on US account (with my only 2 cars :D) and wow, Latinos are way worse than anything I've seen so far lol.
I should never complain about EU:lol:
I've been matched with everything from A/S to D/S due to weird times I play for that zone, but experience was the same: people shoving off each other left and right lol
 
I suck today.... more than usual.

I spent all week on Race A. But no confidence today. Missing turns I didn't miss before, not able to keep the wheels straight and just can't string together good laps. Frustrating.

LOL - welcome to North America! Where Brazilians think this is bumper cars and they need to win the race on the first turn!

From all the youtube videos I watch, I think you guys in the EU have the same problem with the Spanish Armada? Haha

Oh, my order of fear generators is:
1 France;
2 Uk - (the hamiltons)
3 italians;
4 spanish;
5 and: belgians recently!

France passed the hamiltons on last weeks.

I only tried race B once. The track being so wide encourages ridiculous overtake attempts. SR plummeted and haven't touched it since lol.

Race C is great.
 
Was going to set a quick time last night and do some racing to repair my dr a bit dropped 5k to 35k racing from the back at Suzuka. Sat on the couch for a minute and next thing I knew it was time to go to work this morning. Ended up with a 2.00.4 after only doing 5 qualy laps.

Gr2 on RBR looks like it will take my interest for most of the week although gr3 on Nurb gp isnt bad would have loved to see the nordschleife for a week.
 
Gr3 Nurburgring is the next FIA Nations race on wednesday too, so good practice.

Have to hammer that Gr2 race in the early days this week too though, I find it impossible to get a good position by the end of the week.
 
I just did 2 Suzuka races. Corvette first, I was slow, got timed out before the finish, ended 12th. Lancer second, I was a little less slow yet spun out once, finished 16th, but at least I finished.

So I figured to do one more race without spinning out and then this happened

I guess that's the new disconnect bug? No error, just back to race select screen.

I tried the daily B as that was up next and the same thing happened. Restarted the ps4 and now waiting to join the daily A...

Ok that fixed it. Hmm, I don't really want to do this race. What track is it at anyway, what's a Beat.

I’ve been having the same problem all aftwrnoon. All the network speed tests ahow everything is good on my end. It’s frustrating.

Tried to enter 4 races in a row saturday and got kicked to the the sport mode menu. First time I thought I had just forgotten to enter but after I realised I was being disconnected
 
Wrapped up Suzuka week with one more podium and three top five finishes in the Corvette. I'm surprised no one used it considering its consistency in pace is well.
 
For all you people who have been able to get past the garage back ground race match and actually start the race.... I hate you ! :p I would try re-starting the PS4, but someone already posted that they tried that and it didn't. @6BK I belive.
 
Good luck to everyone doing race A. I sincerely thought that I was in manual.
