Its annoying but you can compensate a little by swinging left a bit before t1 just before cornering if you want to stick to the track.

The other corners im not so sure theres that much to be gained by going wide in gr2. Some but not huge amounts perhaps. Not really explored it.

Luckily it's just T1 at RBR. But that's still a few tenths, easy.

Yeah, the car behind me was gaining a couple tenths by going wide at T1.

Terrible long weekend for me. Back to DR C.

Last race sums it up. Start 2nd, pass 1st at the start. Lead for 5 laps, then the car just steers into the wall. Figure I'll finish anyways, catch up to last place, same spot car steers into the wall.

Oh well. I'm going golfing. It's less frustrating.

2 x Race A this morning. Fun races for the most part.

Had the same group of cars behind me without qualifying times behind me in both races. I guess the plan is farm points off of suckers like me. I wish those those drivers would be more patient though. I don't think they have the right to push through because they think they are faster without logging a QT. Nothing wrong with joining a race without a QT but the other drivers have no way of knowing you're faster without a time on the board.

Starting at the back and gaining positions helps your DR go up?

I thought finishing the top half of the drivers helps your DR go up and finishing the last half of drivers makes your DR drop. So wouldn't qualifying in top half of racers and finish in the top 5-6 positions help your DR more?

Got wrecked from 2nd place at the start in Race C then got stuck behind traffic to finish 11th. Went to Race B and got wrecked by a guy with one bar who was a second behind. Dropped from 1st to 8th. Then got punted off by a guy who clipped the grass before the Schumacher S and dropped to 12th. Finished 9th. Bye bye 2000 DR points in 45 minutes.

After a couple weeks off, got back into GT with one race last night in Race A, brings back memories of battles in GAS. Started 4th with a bad QT (I'm in B/B after a few ram retaliations) had a good fight with the top 4 and as we started the last lap someone tried to make a move on the last corner, opening up the track like Moses and the red sea. Got a clean track for the last lap and got fastest lap...

Not bad for being rusty.

I managed to get podium on my first attempt at Race C. Not a fan of the first corner extension, but the racing is nice.

I know who you're talking about and the whole lobby was mad about your loss. I saw you spin off and hopefully you have a better next race!

Thanks! And good job with the podium.

Your door number is probably a better guide for what position you want to beat for your dr to go up. Its not exact because it all depends on the dr of other people in the race.

I guess people still need to learn the track for the daily C. Let's just keep it at that as that certainly wasn't anything worth of SR.S what I encountered today. It got a bit better as time went on, probably since the worst were all shipped off to SR.A and SR.B. I haven't qualified yet so I was also dealing with the worst of course. I especially like getting a penalty for taking T1 without cheating :banghead: Get hit from behind at corner exit by someone wanting to take the wide route over the red zone and I get 3 sec penalty  Sort it out PD, is it off track or not.

I managed to hang on to 99 SR despite seeing plenty orange SRs from getting hit from behind and a couple times bumped off from the side. 7th place from 20th was the best I could do so far while driving carefully. So many track limit abusers! I guess priorities for GTS are, find the exploits and fast in crash someone out. Learn braking points for traffic, nah just use a bumper. See a ghost, immediately drive into it. Welcome to Monza 2.0

Now will things get better during the week or will dives only increase with practice as the small penalties are also very easy to get rid off on this track...

I started 4th in that B race and watched the whole thing happen. 1 bar connection shouldn’t be allowed. That guy’s car was warping all over the track.

Getting to like the AMG GT3 more and more now! It was my choice @suzuka allready last week and now it suits me not too bad @nurburgring either, certainly with new tire model.

Took it as first car 4 qualy and got a 58.3 with it. Knowing i still gonna try the RSR, EVO, NSX, RCF AND GT LM. Assuming i got still like around half a second in qualy trim with one of those.

So my 1st races of the week where pretty descent, i have to say. 8 Races with 2 wins, 3 second, a thirth and 2 fifth. Players overall where behaving very fair, allways exceptions offcourse!

What i like i particular about the AMG GT3 at this track is the overall braking behaviour, speed/torque and the way it handles in the last chicane an exit of it, i can trust on it there. Grtz.

Took a deep dive into Race C last night, was not disappointed, started 6th within a lap i was 19th, so many cars so much speed, so few laps.. a bit like a great party without enough dance floor. And some of it was on me, tapped someone, and had to wait until he was on the track again (fair and all).

Ended up 11th, blue S and had plenty of fun getting there.. absolutely recommend for anyone that likes to race

Ran with A/S players. A lead player got bumped. Fell to 4th behind me. Then, was dirty and smashed me into the 2nd place player as a payback. Of which, the offense was clearly from neither of us.

Both of those players bolted at the end, to avoid "the wrath".
I'll take the 3rd Place, but not saying champaign.

its the dirtiest race C I have been in for weeks, think its the combination of people getting used to GRP2 again and on a new track, enjoyed the racing but some was way out of control.

Nope. Again. Someone used me to retaliate against another player. This is some BS....

The Mini race is a great example of how the incompetence of the people picking daily race combinations can and indeed does ruin the experience. I drove a stock Mini around Nordschleife on CH tyres yesterday and it felt great.
The grip matched the suspension setup very nicely with the damping being sublime and the open diff making a lot of sense.
Even the ratios of the 4 speed box were working very well with the car topping out only a few places.
Contrast that with the setup in race A:
80 km/h 1st gear and standing start resulting in the car bogging down, but still you only need 4th down the straight...
So much lateral grip that you're peeling the inside tyre for 75% of the lap leading to unpredictable torque steer...
Overall terrible handling and a very bad experience.

Such a frustration when the stock car on CH's drives like a dream. Big thumbs down from me.

Great day for me today!
I get Pole position (1:57:8xx), clean race and victory on Nurb GP race with Mercedes AMG Gr3 in A S category

The Austria Gr2 race is a nightmare
Cos depending on who gives a damn about track limits there’s like 30m difference in braking zones
And as always the case the people at the back are going for the latest brake point so it’s carnage

Once the first lap is over and you sort of blank out the t1 track limits are a bit of a joke it’s a good race

Only issue is penalties can be taken relatively easily in the braking zone for t2
Which is fine
But the cars ghost in an awkward way in which they keep going in and out of ghost
Often you end up running into the back of people there getting a 5 sec penalty for that then getting hit in the back reducing your own penalty for the same thing

It’s a bit silly really but if the track limits were good at T1 and that ghosting problem was adjusted in someway would be a great race
The track is great for racing and in super gt cars feels brilliant

Noticed you were changing gears before reaching the gear limit while you chased however the last lap it was normal. Anything specific behind this?
I made a misplay and got boxed in behind the SLS and the Mustang. I shortshifted so my car would be slightly slower down the straight, giving me some space and more breathing room to think
