After few races on rbr, I think it is a good track for gr2. Just extra careful with throtle and watch out the tire. Tap the brake for early brake on t1 and t2
Is it just me or did GTS daily races stop changing tracks? The RBR and mini race is now already in its 3rd day or what's going on?

Personally I much prefer the grid start. The rolling starts often have you at some stupid place on the track, like the chicane at le mans, as your handed control, I use motion sense, so I hold the trigger for brakes and add throttle as the lights come on. As soon as they go out, release the brakes and go.
Use the E/hand brake. The race at Red BUll is the first race I've seen in the game with a light controlled standing start rather than a standing start where you can just have full throttle and the car is automatically let loose at the end of the count down. It's a part of racing, so rather than whining I'll just have to suck it up and get used to it. My throttle and brake are the same stick so no launch control for me.
That was me behind Sven. The game expects you to go wide at T1 so if you brake harder than the car behind and it results in a collision, you get a penalty as it’s detected as a brake check. I personally couldn’t believe he got a penalty for it but it shows how you have to race the track with the limits in place even though I also don’t think we should be allowed to go wide at T1.
After that race, I gave up on Race C. Got put in the wall at the start from 2nd (got 5s for getting murdered) and had to overtake slower cars weaving like crazy as I had #1 on my car. I guess they wanted DR points!
Grrr, my first attempt at a race after the update, from a cold boot.

I saw you come and go. Better luck next time bud. They really need to fix this, 3 or 4 others were disconnected too.
It's not considered as a brake check though, there is no such thing as a brake check penalty. That section is off-track for the penalty system. Since you went off-track after the collision the other car gets a penalty. It happens all the time. On Saint-Croix before the straight, car behind bumps you then touches the outside or inside wall, you get a penalty. On Sarthe Tertre Rouge, car behind bumps you wanting to go wide, game sees the other car go off track, thus you get a penalty. It's the track limits for track cut penalties that are incorrect. The track limits for contact penalties are different.
Anyway, I take the corner in a defensive more inside line now when a car is behind I've seen go wide before. Then they can go around on the outside. I get passed there now regularly by cars taking the wide path, which is fine, I'll stick to the actual track. Most of them try the same thing at T2 which is a lot slower, so I usually pass them again there
Race C is a bit of a mess with the vast different interpretations of where the track is... The last 2 corners are dangerous as well as many people like to go far wide before the final turn. Penalties are so easily got rid off on that track that a little cheating here and there doesn't bother people. It would be nice if anything that's not kerb gets replaced with the wobbly green stuff from Suzuka

It’s not considered off track. The only wait to get a penalty at T1 is to clip the tire wall or get in the grass when you rejoin the track. It’s red because it’s in Austria, not because it’s off track. I don’t like having to go wide to be competitive so I boycott Race C. Only did one before focusing on Race B.
It is off-track as far as the contact penalty system is concerned, which is why people are getting time penalties there for getting rear ended. The penalty system is very simple, If contact happens and one car goes off track, the other car gets a penalty. The game fails to give a 'shortcut' penalty there, yet it is still off track. It's not red because Austria likes to paint their roads red lol.
Just because everyone else does it doesn't make it right.
Even Brazilians know the track limits in real life

Thx. I missed the info on that change. Now are daily only by name ... they're weekly .....

Sport mode was working at night, got 2 races in, enough for 2 daily workout gift car annoyances, 11:30 and midnight race.
First race I started 17th out of 18. Survived the carnage in the first lap, then got punted off in the 4th lap and got a 3 sec penalty from someone turning into me then taking the wide route in lap 10. It was very dirty, managed to climb my way back to 11th in the end.
Second race, started 16th out of 16 (all these disconnects). It was dirty again but I managed to avoid getting punted and finished 4th penalty free. I also managed to improve my best lap time to a low 1:24 and held off the corner cheat behind me making up half a sec on me by going wide at T1 each time. In the last lap he got close enough to catch my slipstream, however he couldn't get a good run on me for the rest of the last lap.
@Winnie847 was in both races and won both, congratulations. I never saw him though, he started up front and stayed there.
Yesterday was cleaner, however I was racing a lot later today.
Race C is so unbelievably dirty. The standing start was a really bad idea on a new track and a turn one with no track limits. I started second got punted into turn one. Second lap made my way back to 8th while coming back onto the track after turn one some dude wouldn't let me back on track then he brakes so hard and early into turn 2 that I rear end him and am threatened with disqualification. Next lap I'm flying I pass some dude who rear ends me as I'm turning hard into turn 2 spinning me. I get turned around and justice he goes off. Then I'm racing up behind someone no contact but I'm setting it up to draft down the straight and suddenly I'm disconnected for too many incidents. I'm not even mad. Kudos to PD I have a feeling this will be working in my favour more than not. Thats a great function a long time coming. Bravo PD!
Can confirm race C is just a full contact sport. You can't even try to make a corner without someone trying to dive in and either missing entirely or hitting you. There were even times where a clearly slower car was trying to force me off track because I dare to make a clean pass
Also, good god people have no idea how to keep control of their cars.
Edit: Is it just me or is the braking points here horribly inconsistent? They work in one corner, they stop working the next corner. And this has happened with all three cars I've driven. What even is going on.
