Kind of annoying racing the daily B against aliens with new PSN’s for new teams. Finishing 2nd and I still losing DR. Guy in first is qualifying with a 1:55:xx as a B/S driver. Had enough for today.

Took the Stang out for a last stand at nurbgp. Turn 1 I always take easy and stay out of the dreaded slip so starting 4 I lost two places to the guys who got inside me. No worries b s lobby with an a at the top.
I ended up being the last car in the lead pack. Guys we’re running 159 in race?! Whoa. That’s pretty quick for an old dude like me. Managed a 200:3 on lap 3 to close the gap back to fifth but one of my South American friends pulled out a totally clean fast final lap with me pressuring. Well done albeit with lag preventing me from truly sticking my nose into his business.
Only one penalty among us all. Back to 97 sr. Gained a bit of dr to eclipse 13,000 for the first time. (Thank you qualifying)
I really really like that track.
I ventured into a rally lobby and a Tsukuba lobby also. The rally one was 8 cars fisherman’s ranch 2. Pulled a 3rd amidst the humorous mayhem. On Tsukuba the fella didn’t restrict the lobby, so after race one (he was in a Miata) I busted out the zed 4 with low weight and super soft. Next thing I know the lobby starter exited and one fella stayed. He switched to a 911 gr3, and I went with the Peugeot gr1.
Lol he bounced after I blew by him just before the last turn. Eh all in all a fun get sport kinda day.
Maybe it’s just me but I’ve had 99.9 percent good luck in sr s online dailies as far as etiquette. Really enjoy this game. Good times! Have a good one!

Pathetic week at Nurburgring.

Most of the races were finished in T1 itself. Agghhhhhhhhhhh

Qualifying time is important. Also if you are not sr s then I dunno. I had five fun races no one messing up too bad except myself once.
T1 Nürburgring gp in any race with Sri s seems to me to be good. Maybe I am just lucky?

Maybe I am just lucky?

Indeed. I just had a grid of all B/A/A+/S and a Brazilian (of course) crashed out both 2nd and 4th in T1.

I sent him a message telling him how I felt and he told me that I take it in the arse.

Lovely people, them. Anyway.. dirty players get to S just as easily as the rest of us, when they actually want to. It's just a matter of time before your time card is punched, so to speak.

I know when I dropped to sr b after a moment of weakness related to several of my South American friends that it took quite a time over many races and dr bleeding to get back to sr s.
I could see a certain desperate mentality of player knocking people out on purpose to try to gain a few dr. For myself it’s not worth it. I never talk in lobbies after the race negative because the one time I did I watched the replay and found I was in the wrong! Often it’s poor driving more than intentional.
There’s no condoning intentional.

Red bull ring wasn't that dirty tonight, much better than yesterday where most of the room ended with red ratings. I only did 3 races yesterday and 2 today though. It has pretty much played itself out. Interestingly there were less corner exploiters today than yesterday, perhaps the reason why it was a bit cleaner, less accidents leading to revenge actions. Today I actually had a very decent close battle for multiple laps, side by side without contact and swapping positions at T2 and T3. Fun stuff, however too little too late I'm afraid. I went back to Spider-man instead.

RBR got old fast. Saint-Croix I raced 69 times, almost 10 races a day still (my average was at 13 a day before the weeklies). RBR ends at 27 races for the week, less than 4 a day average. That's my attendance dropping down to 30% of what it was before the weeklies. Bring back the dailies!

Next week, the only race that's slightly interesting to me is draft bumping on Blue moon bay. I shouldn't, since that will reset my DR for sure with the track on all week, yet what does it matter anyway! It's always fun to help someone else to victory, or 2nd place if all goes to plan.

I'm really enjoying the weeklies, though I can see why they might get dull. But having the same race open for a week gives players like me, more time to get on tracks/races we like, without feeling rushed or forced to get involved after work. It was nice to see what it was mid week, do some lapping 'offline' and then go mad at the weekend.

What's the car for race A - is it the mini again ?

And for the first time in months I got booted out from a session..............twice in a row :grumpy: But it seems I didn't lost any DR points  seems that at least PD created sort of a fail safe mode

This keeps happening to me as well, just after match-making and before the warm-up begins.
I gather from another post on gtplanet - that restarting the game works?

I hope this gets patched, Sport mode doesn't seem to have enough players as it is

Clear your cache for the in game network option page as well and restart, as far as I can tell once you get booted once it will just repeat until restarting your PS4.

At some point, I got blue screened whilist entering the track during the Warm-up for the M4 One-Make Race around Big Willow...

It is happening to a lot of players and is on PD's side, not your connection. I find that restarting the PS4 stops the problem in the short term. In other words, I was kicked from the grid 3 times the other day (once from a pole position which nearly made me throw the controller at the TV). I restarted the PS4 and 4th race I was able to race like @MhtyClipster said. Last night I didn't wait that long. 1 race kicked, immediate restart of system and 2nd race I'm on. I hadn't cleared cache before restart though as he suggests so better try that next and see if it give a longer term fix.💡

@Sven Jurgens I know that SR Points dropping is a major interest to you. I finally worked my way back from 32 points to 99 SR. Interestingly I am finding that when I was SR C, B and even A a light tap was costing me points and a single Orange Sector would ruin a race. Now that I am back to SR/S I've actually had orange sectors and even 3 second penalties and not dropped any SR. Is it stretching the imagination to think that when you are SR/S the game knows a a one off incident is not your normal style and is less likely to punish you? Anyhoo, I am enjoying play again now that I am with drivers that don't try to sit in my passenger seat.:odd:

Final point...for a change the weirdness of GTSport went in my favour last night. Trying to get back from my 1 point DR I was climbing stead with a series of top 5 finishes. Even managed to come ahead of a poor DR/S SR/S driver who ended in my DR/D lobby and got punted off on T1 NurbRing. Getting 500 to 800 points per race I was up to 3,900 points and needed just 100 to get back to DR/C. Started 10th, finished 5th in a grid of all DR/C drivers (I think I was the only DR/D) and landed on...wait for it...6,100 points total. Yep, 2,200 points for 5th place in a DR/C 4 lap daily. No idea how but I'll take them thanks very much.

I was thinking the same yesterday because I was able to just drop into a Daily B when I had 20 mins to spare. Having already done a decent qualifying and raced early in the week I was comfortable with the track and my car choice so I didn't have to go through that whole process after work with limited time so yeh, it actually had me race much more. On the other hand they've just stuck that horrible Speedway up as daily B this week which I absolutely will not race and I rarely have the time to do a Daily C so that could pretty much rule me out of racing this week. May take a look at the Daily A for a change but for those who like a GR3 / GR4 that is not on a crash fest circle daily B is out of bounds for another week. I like the weekly races but they should have 5 to 7 choices so you

The limits take a bit of getting used to on Lago Maggiore again my last race here was under FIA regulations which are totally different to todays limits. Did a no qualifying no stop strategy to start off mainly to avoid a reset as my SR is a bit low after a few race B's as the penalties are fairly strict for any small bumps on race B, used the Megane Trophy for its fuel economy and went from 17th to 7th. I had another pop using the Genesis and failed terribly running outta fuel with a handful of corners to finish last, gained around 30 SR over the 2 races C which is decent. Going to do a few more B's now I ain't in immediate danger of another reset, I don't mind a few races round the speedway not sure how I will feel by the end of the week...
Wow the penalties are a bit to strict on race B for my skill level at least only the winner was blue in my last attempt and he was DR A, at least I came second because I was better at getting rid of my 3 second penalty which I got one someone divebombed me in T1 with the usual consequences..
Oh well I tried to avoid it, RESET from race B.
Why can't a car that's at 90 degrees to the racing line out of turn 1 and is clearly crashing be ghosted? Happened twice in the last race and got 3 seconds each time I am sorry but both were unavoidable? Got one more pole that's as good as it got, time to do race B without having to worry about my SR since I ain't got none to lose. I seem to get reset nearly ever week at the moment the penalty system clearly doesn't like me any more, SR S is only a distant memory if I get up to B am doing well, guess I should be used to SR E now even though my visits are usually short lived. On the plus side I am getting pole positions down here  [This is like a red rag to a bull though with everyone wanting to nerf me off.]
Wow just when you thought it couldn't get worse a total destruction derby of a race, got a new screen come up warning one more collision and you will be disqualified so pull right off the racing line on the straight right on to inside off the actual track going about half speed someone manages to run in to me? Blind maybe? Kicked from the race, that's a new one on me!!
Next race one minus SR then the warning again! Slight brush along side another car, no real contact from my point of view and boom, booted again is this normal? Or am I in a special class now -SR maybe, I don't get it?

Did Race C earlier to pick up my 91st win.

I was struck by the number of players being disconnected between matching and the actual start of the race. Seems to be a real problem.

Just got booted out.

Anyway, the other cars went as follows:

Tyre grip for some of us players, was non-existent

Started 8th, had one bar and let everyone pass. Got all yellow bars with two laps to go.

Could have no stopped. Pitted on lap 3 with barely tyre wear and 5.5laps of fuel.

Edit: Booted from the Gr. 3 race. Waiting for other players and I just get sent to the Daily Races screen.

Edit: Booted from Race A just then.
Now, I didn't try to qualify the three times I got booted. I'm QUALIFYING, right now, for Race C.

Highlights from Nurburgring last week, unfortunately didn't manage to win one but I had some nice races

Race B seems like an easy way to lose SR in a hurry. It feels like since the last oval race they have made it much easier to get a run on the cars around you so now we have big pack races and cars running 4 wide at times which causes contact if you're lucky and crashes if you're not. They have also changed the penalties, bump drafting is now SR down (no penalty) whether you're the pusher or pushee. It also seems like the equal blame penalties are back in play for some incidents.

Basically Blue Moon Bay is now Talladega.

Booted again. That's it. I'm done for the night.

Am I seeing what I'm seeing?! The M4 is great again! It's the only meta car I am happy to drive with :D
Man I am absolutely in love with that car for some reason. Maybe because it was such a huge part of my climb to where I am now :) I'd gladly use it on any occassion I can, complete with the original Love Live livery I have donned it on since the day I used it. Man it's only been months but I already feel nostalgic

I wrote about kicking me out of race for too many Incidents...
I almost had it last night but managed to avoid contact for the last lap.
My conclusion is that if you have a close race (contact, rubbing is racing) you will get orange Sr, even without any penalties, and if you overdo it the game will kick you out. But the next couple of races you don't get a clean slate, the game watches you very closely, and if you start close racing again you will almost certainly be kicked, at least couple of races you must avoid all contact. Funny thing is I got booted for too many Incidents at the start of the Race ( I was revving my engine eaiwait for the red lights ) :)))

It probably works the way it should

Its new to me getting kicked, but in D/E races the chance of nobody hitting you is slim as I said the 1st race I was slightly to blame the second one I did nothing I think was only on lap 1 possibly 2 when it booted me out. Being mega cautious on race A now.

I'm getting booted before the Warm Up.
