E ranks are definitely not clean haha

It's weird, I had my most fun races in the lower ranks. Since I've been in SR:S & DR:B it got more frustrating every race. The people there seem to be way more aggressive with dive-bombs and unfair maneuvers.
In the lower ranks you can easily predict what bad drivers will do. Mostly they spin out anyways...

With the FIA races still in test phase and mostly boring af, I'll give it a shot and try to lower my stats. I let you know how the races there went in a few days ;)

Dear oh dear, what a waste of daily race choices today, bye bye SR for anyone venturing onto the oval or tokyo express destruction derby!

It's days like this where I just do laps trying practising cars/tracks

I got through races A and B today and actually gained SR. Go figure.

A should be good, but B... depends. The problem is there is no space on the speedway circuit and only (really) one line.

A = One-Make Daihatsu Copen RJ VGT - 5 laps - Kyoto Driving Park Miyabi
B = Gr. 3 - 15 laps - Northern Isle Speedway :lol:
C = Gr. 4 - 8 laps - Tokyo Expressway - East Outer Loop - 4 time fuel/9 time tyre wear

Race B should be some cluster and destruction! :lol:
Oh boy... what an utter rubbish selection... a noddy car and Crash test dummies wet-dream:lol:

weird I've only recently entered the realms of DR:B SR:S and I feel like its a different form of racing all together. everybody takes nice lines and I've not had one divebomb. I had one guy who took an inside line overtaking me and made minimal contact. coming out of the turn he even flashed his hazard lights to say sorry which I'd never seen before haha

You mean nunbufohre, right, he‘s on my friends list and I can assure you he is an outstanding driver. No Grip Bug, trust me.

just wondering how he can brake that late, others in the top 10 list like big-stef had a similar braking point as I had (but also didn‘t use this throttle braking technique).

I found the same until the weekend came around. I went from S to B over Saturday and Sunday.

*off topic. How your back? Has your seat arrived? :)
Heyho Mate, all good again, thanks. And yes my Seat arrived yesterday afternoon, i only drove a few laps to get a feel for the new position and i‘m really surprised how good it is. The really cool thing is that the Force Feedback can be felt through the whole seat. Awesome. No need for a bass shaker. And what’s even better I drive a bit faster in it. I hit a 1:55:8 on Nürb Gp yesterday in my 458. Very happy with it.
Sorry for off topic :gtpflag:

Hey guys, I’m away from my PS4 now. Can you guys tell me what are the daily races tracks today? And the one make one?

haha I also use the playseat challenge, great bit of kit and folds away in the cupboard nicely after use. It's amazing that just a velcro strap holds the pedals as sturdy as it does!

Absolutely i‘m definitely amazed I’d have never thought that it would be so stable, astonishing.

That playseat that looks like a camping chair? Or did I missread something here? :lol:

it can look a bit like one in terms of it folding out, but it has to be made that way in order for it to store away the way that it does. cant fault it in the slightest.

the perfect racing chair for someone with lack of space, which is myself

:lol: never seen it before but tbf it does look like a camping chair!

Can you or @PirovacBoy measure how high the wheel is away from the floor please? I seriously consider getting this now if you guys say it‘s good and sturdy.

sure thing, I'll have a look when i get in tonight. the wheel and pedals are also adjustable... im 6'2" and my mate is 5"9 and can be adjusted to suit both of us.

:D You‘re laughing, I did too at first, but after I drove I laughed because of joy.Incredibly cool piece of furniture, seriously :lol:

I just pulled out my tape measure. The Center of the Wheel is 71cm up from the floor. But the angle is adjustable, I mean the whole seat in itself is fully adjustable the pedal plate too, and it’s really really stable. Unbelievable. Once you throw your body in the seat it feels extremely stable, no wobble or shaking. I‘m 184cm and weigh 87kg and it is perfect. It feels like sitting in your own little Monocoqe. :). You can drive it either F1 Style very LowSeat Position almost lying with fully stretched legs or you move it together for NASCAR Style driving. There is definitely nothing comparable to it.

omg, really looked forward to spending couple of hours racing today (had really busy 2 weeks) the only day i got spare and they decide to put tokyo and ovals at the same time. not even gonna bother

What floor surface is it on? I have hardwood floors so do I need a mat under to keep from moving under heavy braking?

I have mine on Carpet. I would advice to use a Yoga Mat or something similar to prevent moving on your floor. I even use the T3PA with the brake mod and absolutely nothing is moving. It’s very solid.
