No, I tried last night... you have to lift off at the hairpin. I found this out the hard way :lol:

6pm is a bit early!
 
Got a excited when i saw blue moon on the schedule for the manufacturer cup and then i clicked on it and it was the oval layout. And of course the race ended up kinda of messy. Got penalized twice even though im the one getting ran into.

Thank you :cheers: I used the M6 on qualifying. I don't trust it on races though so I use the 911 there (good for a high-55)
I'm on Europe right now since I'm not confident enough on Lago just to race on my main yet :lol: once I get used to how people race there I'll move to Asia
 
Well, race is run. Shocked to qualify 15th and not 18th. No As or Ss surprisingly. Mostly DR/B with a few Cs. 5 DR/Ds. My SR took a 14 point hit. Part of that had to do with a guy I kept tapping because his braking point for all of the chicanes was much earlier than mine and he managed to take up all the road so I had no escape, just had to hope my brakes could help reduce the impact. My responsibility, not his. Then there was me getting lost and braking at the first bridge instead of the second and really getting rear ended... totally my fault. I knocked someone off so I pulled over to let him gain position, and watched a train of 5 cars go past. In the end I finished 16th with no points gained.

All in all I thought the bat mobile (a black Bugatti) did alright, just not with me driving it :lol:.

I've never realized that we could do that (switch car for Q and race), not even tried once lol. Good to know :)

If you just do 'qualifying time trial' (i.e not qualifying after entering a race) and set a time, you are still offered the choice of your whole garage when entering a race...

Did Race B in the R8. Yeh, could do better. I was matched with a lot of As and Bs, but with SR/A or B. I'm changing my post race message from the default. Whilst I love the idea of using "I am the chosen one! Mighty hand of vengeance sent to strike the unroadworthy!" I think I'll go with "A racing car is NOT a crowbar!" :rolleyes:
 
Had time for hot lapping at Monza. No time to race unfortunately. Managed 4th in the Americas. There is definitely more time to be had but I couldn't put it together before work.

Monza is an SR black hole :lol: average of -4.7 SR per person per race
 
Jumped in the Aston Gr. 3 race, qualified 4th with not such a spectacular time though.. Race starts, top 4 makes it through without anny hits.

Got a clean pas at number 3 braking in the banked corner after the straight and got extra bonus because nr 1 and 2 ran off in the gravel on that exit, so position 1.. Kept it and won with about 4 secs difference to nr 2. 5th sport win in the bag!

Karting in the nationscup sounds pretty cool... hope to make it tonight..

Raced three times in race b. All started at P7-P9. Enjoyed the close battles and clean & fair races. Last race I gained 3 places and net +1000 Dr tonight.👍

Just got my first win ever at Nürburgring GP. I qualified second. Myself and the dude on the pole were both A/S. The entire rest of the of the field was D/S. Weirdest matchmaking ever

It's amazing that you made it through turn 1, with all of those D guys behind you.

Learned this the hard way when I switched to the R8 when it was slower than the Viper I had been using. Got literally ran over by a hornet's nest of 911s in Interlagos. Wish Q times were tied to cars.
