After a ratings drop @ Brands Hatch it was time for the opposite @ Race A/Lago Maggiore.

Really loved the 4C after I got used to it.. My time was top 2.2% in the world but that was still like 3 seconds from the top time.. I have no idea how in the hell did I have 3 secs of air in my best lap..

Well, it was good enough. 8 races and 8 wins (5 poles). 7 of those races I drove alone several seconds ahead of second place. Pretty boring actually.. But I only did one little driving mistake in those races.

I tried the Audi too but didn't race..

Btw my Kudosprime stats are somehow corrupt.. It shows I have almost the maximum of DR points even though I'm just on the verge of A.
DR reset?

However, I was wondering how this move works.

I'm flat out on the gas, same car, he's at the same speed as me, flashes his lights, then presses a turbo button? and overtakes.
More battery power stored and ready for boosting the car. Brake more but less and fill the battery to get the same boost

Absolute bs. Last lap, casio triangle, 3rd place coming from the back, disconnection.

Lol race c no stop in the M4 is a little bit ridiculous although ive been trying to win without setting a qualy time and may have wrecked my Sr

Daily B

You were there in loading screen and then disappeared.
Something happened I guess.
Too bad we didn't race together.
.

Ah right, I got disconnected in my first attempt. :indiff:

@Alpha Cipher great time 👍
did you break :08 last time?

I am running 08.580 from my last PB 08.716. Hope to improve a little more:cheers:
My last PB was a .538 :)

Had a fantastic race at Race C! Started 4th behind 3 Top 10 qualifiers, and eventually moved up to second with active fuel saving (The fuel map does wonders ;))
I could've taken first if it weren't for a penalty for hitting someone as they spun out onto me :(

Up to 41k DR :D 9k more and I'm starting a US region account :P

No pit?

Yep, no pit. At around lap 5 I noticed I was gaining big time on pole so I dropped my fuel level to 3/4. At around lap 7 I put it all the way to 6 on the technical parts on the circuit, and 4 on the straights. On the final lap I went back to fuel level 1 and only going to 2 on the technical parts :)
I was using the Citroen GT though, so the M4 might be a bit easier to manage

I use TT:boggled:
Is it possible:confused:

Battling other people does take a strain on your fuel :)
In these endurance races I just give my position and then use their slipstream to enhance my fuel efficiency
May I have your wise word on the fuel strategy:bowdown:

Finally managed to hit 2.08 on Suzuka, I really don't understand how is 2.07 possible at this point :D
Current leader in Asia is 06:xxx

Shortshift
I shift halfway through the RPM bar no matter my fuel map. On the M4 you can go as far as 1/3rd or 1/4th the RPM bar and still not lose significant amounts of time. Take corners one gear high except for really slow turns where your RPM drops really low.
It's also quite advantageous to have a car in front of you. If you think you can keep up with them, do so but no overtaking ;) a personal preference that I do in these situations is I set-up a better exit than usual. What happens is I can put my fuel map 1-2 levels higher than usual since the additional speed + slipstream can allow me to stick behind them with less fuel :D

That's dizzying :boggled::bowdown:

@Alpha Cipher Taken your words. :cheers:Just finished my first non-pit endurance race. Once again, can’t match the race pace with M4 while fuel saving. Started 2nd and finished at 3rd. :yuck:

Anyway, a great race indeed and complete a mission (no pit) I haven’t tried before. Thanks mate:tup:👍👍

Finished 2 race c, DR net +2000 Sr S:gtpflag:

Glad to have helped
Congrats on your DR increase :D

Anyone else find matchmaking pretty harsh? I’m DRA (37k ish) SRS (99) and the I get matched with some fast people.

Last week at Interlagos GR3 set a 1.31.5 pretty happy with that only good enough for 3rd though. This morning willow springs GR3 1.11.7 again ok I thought only good enough for 9th!

Edit - This is EU region

Start thinking I would be a S one day. :gtpflag:
I know it must not be easy to break the 50k limit.:dopey:

With your pace you definitely can :D
Those DR increments are amazing though  in my Asia account any increase above 1000 is a blessing

Today in particular- yeah. I've not yet raced so far today without one of the Top 10 people on the grid :nervous:

I just ran Race B, and I'm still in shock. I decided that Willow Springs deserved a big lazy American V8, so I went with the 'vette. I only had time for a few laps to qualify, so I was ready to sit up the back as usual, run my race and try to improve my race craft a bit. I found myself qualified 7th, and come race time that was changed to 6th. During the race I was just trying to keep it on the track, play with taller gears and keep out of everyone's way. Imagine my shock when I look at the board to see I was in 2nd place on lap 5! Unfortunately on 3rd last corner (the one before the squiggly high speed section) I was a bit slow and as I got to the last corner about to start the final lap I left too much room on the inside and 3rd place had caught up and was able to get inside me. I moved over to avoid a collision, but I unbalanced the car and ended up on the dirt long enough for 2 more cars to slip past. So 5th place it was. Way better than I was expecting <bouncybounce>:D.

Daily Race A: 4C Launch Edition '14 at Alsace Village (3 Laps)

Daily Race B: Gr.3 at Big Willow (6 Laps)

Daily Race C: Gr.4 at Suzuka (8 Laps, 7x Fuel, 8x Tyres)

A and B for me.

I fare pretty well in Big Willow. A lot of people don't know how to drive that course, so they either fall in the sand traps or they drive scared and are easy to pass.

I ran a 2:11.5xx at suzuka and I just finished 6th. Beat a couple of S drivers and now i am back (for the moment) at Dr A. Kinda tired of going back and forth. But yay, back to steep penalties, I am so excited -_-

Really enjoyed yesterday's R8 one-make at Dragon Trail. Placed 7th on two A/S lobbies, managed to finish 3rd and 5th. DR went up about 400 points. At 44k DR points, I think my performance have peaked, and staggered around middle of DR A.

Queuing up for Suzuka now with a 2.09 best lap. Been inactive for a few weeks now, can't wait to get back in the game.
