Yes and no. At the start, I was just setting the balance to either -2 or -1 (front bias), and just leaving it.Thanks, so are you essentially adjusting the Brake Balance throughout the lap?
My last race last night, I started playing around with dynamic bias adjustments mid race. I was using -1 for T1, and -2 for everywhere else. With this car on this track, I wasn’t noticing too much difference, as there’s really only 3 braking zones on the track, and they’re all very similar, with the exception being the slightly wider entry to T1. But it’s not like a circuit where you have a mix of fast sweepers that need a dab of brakes (usually 50/50 ish bias) and very heavy braking zones (closer to 55/45 bias).
In fast cars, Tsukuba is great for practicing dynamic adjustments, as you can just front heavy for the 3 hairpins, then move it back slightly to trail brake into the long sweeper at the end of the lap.
Another note about the S660, there’s lots of time to find in the final sweeper. Hold Stump, never lift. Pitch the car in aggressively on turn-in, but try to do it without needing a lift, and hold a late apex line. I see so many people lifting and under steering through this corner, and it kills their speed onto the straight, making them sitting ducks into T1.
