Raced 3 B races tonight. Pretty much carbon copies of each other. Still in the Alfa. Started 6th in 2, and bumped to 4th in 1 due to drop outs. Started okay, the guys in front slowing me through the chicane and the 4 pt right but no chance to get by clean. I had less than 1 second behind due to the pace of those in front. Everybody seemed to stay clean until lap 4, then the guys in front got aggressive, which slowed everyone, and the guys behind also got aggressive. I was bumped wide in the last turn, the hairpin, and the first right after the hairpin. All 3 races just went to hell on lap 4 and there were penalties and red SR everywhere. By the time I was done with the 3rd race I was down 3000 DR points and 30 SR, puting me back to B. I love driving the Alfa, but it likes to carry speed and flow, and with the front and 4wd cars fighting and driving point and shoot, I can't do a lap time that gets me clear. I hope next week is a little nicer to me...maybe tomorrow I'll try something with a bit of grunt and see what I can do.

I had a moment of weakness and ruined my own race. First time I tried to take revenge and it will be my last.

He was almost completely off the throttle when he grazed you. I really don't think it was intentional on his part. If he wanted to, he could have taken you out with ease.

There is some sort of karma at play here, but this is the problem with vigilante justice - it's apt to be wrong. At least you learned your lesson.

A hasn’t been bad for the most part tonight, only a couple of incidents. :)

A fun one slower car race was Volkswagen GTI and nurb gp, Id Love em to bring that one back. That was great I garnished a couple victories...that was a loooong time ago...
Next week is a big challenge for c race. If I get consistent and enter it will be first ever gr3 race there.

Good seeing you! We were in that gr2 fuji race on your old account.
So I lost almost 2,000 dr from my ps4 throwing me a CE-47878 or whatever the stupid code was before the race even began.
I’ve mainly just been trying to get my dr back in races a and c. Managed to avoid a dirty driver in race c for a win, then took it to race a. I’m almost to my old amount I had before the disconnect.

Whenever you forget the error code, you can always check my avatar.

Cool huh?

Here's that classic Brazillian move that I had the pleasure of not seeing until the update.

I really hate the bad reputation most brazilians give to those that drive cleanly. :banghead:

No daily races for me (they all scream stay away to me), instead i am doing GT-League races and learning the tracks i never race on.. And i made it to LVL 40, i am now among the 1.8%

I had a moment of weakness and ruined my own race. First time I tried to take revenge and it will be my last.

He made the space he needed by simply placing the car on the inside, and imho he is 100% guilty for causing the contact, if it decides to put his car on the inside through that corner combination and take your racing line at least he should make sure he doesn't touch you..
Your mistake was that you should have done the same to him in the next corners, and instead of trying to ram him of you should just have nudged carefully toward him, and the racing line..

Hello @6BK <-I do not know how to mention i hope i did!

Thanks a lot and sorry for late reply :)

Actually by this racce i realized that, especially for this track, i am more comfortable with FF cars. I am pushing with TT Cup 16. Actually Friday and Saturday was amazing for me. By yesterday night I reached 20th win! Qualification reached to 1:38:700. What am I doing is that, instead of getting battle, I prefer giving the road, driving peacefully. Because, my easiest wins were while 2nd and 3rd are battling. I am trying to not to pushy on 1st lap to keep everyone close, starting to push my limits and lap 2 and 3.

Because of this, either I am winning or finishing at the bottom half. I entered to this week around 7.5k DR=C, now reached to 11k DR=B!!!

In a month ago, gathering Platin trophy was looking like impossible but it seems I may ;)

By the way; thanks a lot for community in here. People are awesome! Very helpful!

@gismanps & @VolkswagenX:

Welcome Gismanps! Looks like you are going around the same pace as myself. I'm using Megane Gr4 with wheel and quali at 1.39.92. Thought I was catching VolkswagenX but then he edged further ahead again. Race pace is 1.40 to 1.41 unless stuck in traffic or pushed into a wall.

I tried the Cayman for 2 laps last night. It is really nice on Gardens. Think I'll try some more practice with it and see if I can get consistent enough to race it.

Had a horrible night last night. Started at 9,877 points and after top 5 finishes all week figured a few points to Dr B would be easy enough. Unfortunately in all 3 races I entered the Spanish Armada sank me and I dropped into the 8,000 point zone. Man, the Spanish absolutely hate using their brakes on T4 and then when you are in front of them it's as though they feel entitled to the road in front of you and go through regardless of what is in front of them. Anyway, I logged off and went to bed. Can't be bothering with that sort of racing.

@Invisigoth; Yup, can't race naked! I hate when I realise that I'm faster in a car that I haven't liveried yet. Now I have to go and sticker the thing if I want to race. To have trouble I've come up with a 6BK standard livery format so I can do any car in a couple of minutes.:p

Saw Pigems on Race A earlier. Right behind on the starting grid. Kept up for a bit but got distracted by the traffic.

Intense race. Briefly fell back to last place but I could still see the leader. It was close for most of the race. One of the perks of trailing is you get a great view or cars driving in row.

Hey man, sorry for not realizing you were also in that race also, it’s always nice to race with fellow members but I’m still learning which PSN names to be looking out for, it was nice to share a track with you though. They were some tight races for the most part, it’s tough to gain ground on anyone in the Fiat. :)

Ah my bad, I didn’t realize, nice to race with you again then. Yeah the CE4 message sucks, losing DR without racing is BS. Great races though! It’s was a fun night on Race A minus the one time I got spun out which may have been partially my fault lol. I’m almost back to A myself now, only 3k to go. :)

Here’s my race log for the evening, 8 races in total with a 2nd as my best finish of the night. There was some fast rooms in Race A tonight, I’ve got the 73rd fastest time in NA and only managed to get one top 3 start lol. :)

Back to the usual, the only Australian on a grid full of Japanese . My last race for the week was disappointing. I started P6/16 on a mixed grid of DR/C and D, which was good.

The race starts and a crept up to P5 coming up to the hairpin, but I locked up on the turn and lost a position on the exit. From then on I just couldn't drive to save my life. The NSX wasn't behaving the same as qualifying, so I just couldn't seem to get the car placed where I wanted. Added to that I was side by side approaching a corner which put me off my line and I couldn't make it work and ended up off track. Lost another two positions and just couldn't recover. So finished P9 and feeling a bit useless :banghead:.

SR up by 6 to 98. DR dropped 150. Day 15 in DR/C land and slowly dropping DR. Hopefully Bathurst will be kinder. I have 2 cars ready, so hopefully I can keep ahead of the race day for the other 5 cars .

After a week in C/S I finally got to B/S which lasted for 2 races (B/A) now. It feels like there is even more wrecking at B/S then at C/S. Lost a lot of SR because there was a 3 car accident in the middle of the downhill right hand turns that I could not avoid. Get a penalty for hitting a spun out car and a penalty for blocking the guy behind:(

Sigh, wait for it
3fb7tHQ.gif

Second time in a row now, with restarting the game. First time was during the loading screen so at least that one didn't cost DR. This one, very costly as I got put in a low class room. My connection quality is good, same as always.

One more attempt, then on to something more reliable.

How on earth do people manage 1:06 at Maggiore in a Fiat 500??? Says settings are open but all you can do is knock ABS down..... I follow the "lines" that the quick ones do..... my car is just slower!

Gave up on B, awful today... but race C has been kind of fun in the B/S lobbies, not too dirty, not too laggy, but alot of Races only had about 12 or 13 survive disconnects to the start.

Saw maybe the dirtiest thing ever in one race though... P1 and P2 side by side on Lap 1 going into to long sweeper last turn where the pit entrance is. Guy on the outside swerved and rammed the other into pit lane intentionally.

Dude was so fast he came out of the pits in last, and up through the entire field and still won in the end.
A guy did the same thing to me about a month ago in Tokyo, as I was passing him for the lead. I did not come back for the win, but I did make room for him on my hit list.

It takes 3 criteria to make the list. Obvious, intentional action to end my race. No provocation from me, whatsoever. Taunting me about it afterwards (proves intent). There's only 2 total people on my list. The other one is from 5 months ago at Willow Springs, and I'm still waiting to see him again.

I don't mind little bits of contact. That stuff is just gonna happen. Most people talk about their righteousness, and how they proudly turn the other cheek. I will also let almost everything slide, because I too have sinned. But I'm talking about the really bad sociopathic offenders, like the one described by @JPW802.

It seems irresponsible to let that behavior continue, like not prosecuting a killer. He's just going to continue doing what he's doing until he's held accountable and punished. I'm fine with being the executioner, so others can maintain their sainthood. In other words, turning the other cheek from the really bad offenders, is in a way irresponsible, because I believe vigilante justice will do more to adjust someones attitude, than leaving it unchecked. Reporting them is useless.

I'm not saying go out and race dirty. My whole thing here is against dirty drivers. Say whatever you want about me, and how terrible all of these things are that I'm writing. Whatever. I don't care. I suppose I'm just an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, who's not ok with being a victim.

I don't condone revenge hits, however I do often make sure that the offender gets a penalty. Even if I can save the corner, I'll make sure to go outside track limits to trigger their penalty. It's way more satisfying to see them leave to SR.B after the race than join them in SR.A.

Oh well guess I'm done with GTS. My kids logged in to my account on their ps4 throwing me out of GTS. Another race disconnected, down to 11.7K now, 2.5K down in an hour lol. Time for some fresh air, sun is out, only -26c, a nice walk through the snow before it gets any colder.

Pity a few of you from here cant enter the same race as him, have some`fun`with him.You probably wont win a race but i bet your smiles will be miles wide!Im nowhere near as good as a lot of the people on GTS but i try not to ruin somebodys race, even when im bringing up the rear, which is often,i try to be courteous.
I used to play online with the early Call of duty games on ps3 where online was free without having to pay for psn plus,i got so fed up with dirty players that i stopped online play.It shouldnt have bothered me as i wasnt paying for psn to play but it pissed the hell out of me.
I played GTS demo online which was great but i didnt start paying for psn+ until GTsport was released.

Bad as "revenge hits" are, tactical hits are worse! In the really slow Fiat 500 race today I got walloped by someone at the U-Turn and it was obviously to slow him / her down and quickly change direction! They went well ahead of me as I struggled out of the grass!
Good thing was I wasn't penalised. In fact after the race I went from Sportmanship A to S.....! Whoopee. But still a D driver. :dunce:

 Hey man, your post is incomplete. You forgot to defend this guy, because he basically epitomizes the type of driver that I'm referring to -->

Did one last race B. Used the NSX to test the update MR physics. Waayyyyyyy better than before. The acr only stepped out as I was too aggressive instead of being smooth. Other than that, I was able to maintain pace with the group of cars I was following(I was running 12th behind some TTs). I also gapped and pulled away from a couple of GT-Rs.

Next, id a mock BAthurst race in the NSX GT3. Much much better at the dipper. Car didn't budge with the quick direction change. I did notice the car feeling a little "heavier". Anyway, I'll have much more confidence in using it at the mountain.

This week was very nice for me. My DR was early/mid-c, now early B. My SR now S (whole week).

Now I am thinking which race should I use to bury my good DR and SR.

GreenHell, or MountPanaroma (which I am terrible at it, I nearly 2:11 :( ), or Tokyo

I think I can pass this week. My DS4 and I got scared of them :)))

I will miss you TT Cup 16, I will miss you DragonTrails. It was a nice week :)))

I did 6 or 7 races in Race B and now I'm only 4500 points or so from A+, I really want to get to that rating already. But knowing my luck I will get disconnected after my next warm up and lose nearly 2000 points again.

I used my trusty old WRX, it feels like a boat compared to other cars but it's still really easy to use.

First, thd bad. Raced inB with the Lambo, hoping to stay out of the mess. Lets just say I hate Meganes and Audi TT's. Had an Audi push me off multiple times, ended up racing for P12. Down to 48 SR.
On to the good. I ran a few laps in the Fiat 500. New Q time of 1:07.2xx. Put me at 127 on the Americas board (woo hoo!) I was .5 ahead of my record ghost on a later lap at one point, but messed up the last corner and ended up with an 07.3xx. Did one race...crash fest in the begining, but it stretched out and I had a good race. Started 4th, finished 4th, but me and P3 swapped position a couple times and had a nice clean battle. He got fastest lap with a 1:07.06 on L5, and I did a 1:07.1 flat to catch back up on L6, but finished about .1 behind him.
Another good...I ran the circuit challenge for Nurburgring. Got all the sector golds, and tried to get the 1 lap gold last night. 3 tries and failures. 7:01.xx was my best. Tried again this morning. Did another 7:01, but I knew I would get the gold when I did a 7:03...with a spin! I had to save that replay. 2 more false starts, then I got a 6:54 to get the gold, and win another Toyota 86. I may do a custom race at Nurburgring to practice for next week. Wish I knew what car.

I think it may be Tuscan. Because it is added newly?

Back to racing. Sunday afternoon, at least there is one other clean driver on the track

6th despite getting rammed twice, not bad. Still not qualifying, perhaps for the Nord during the week. That backfield can get real rough depending on matchmaking. Especially since half the field usually doesn't qualify for the Nord and don't know where to brake.

Next race, not so lucky. Still got a blue S with only 2 others, but got taken out on the last lap to finish last. Rammed and spun around in the gravel. Another almost fully red room. SR.S what does it mean really.

Hey everyone, I've been away from the daily races for a bit because not only did I have a very busy few weeks but I haven't enjoyed the combos much, with the exception of Gr.2 @ Suzuka last week where I got a few wins and bumped my DR back up to over 60k (barely).

I suck pretty bad at N-class cars and I'm barely competitive at Gr.4., so I just joined a few casual lobbies yesterday when I had some time and it was a lot of fun. Next week looks pretty bad for me too...still haven't ever taken the time to learn Nords well enough, and have avoided Mt. Panorama as well. Maybe I'll commit some time to the mountain to see if I can get a competitive qualy, but I think I'm still gonna stay away from Nords.

I just finished reading a bunch of posts in the threads here and learned of the server re-merge...all I gotta say is thank you PD! I understand there might still be some lag due to the different servers/ping times etc., but I think it's still worth it to have more diverse matchmaking as well as more DR up for grabs. I'm looking forward to racing against all the Central and South Americans again, I've missed you!
