You know you're in trouble when you have pole in Race C Nurb GP and four over-ambitious french kids are lined up behind you.
****, I just failed to save the video! The first lap was a blast. How it is possible that two of them ended with SR+ is a complete mystery! Should have been disqualified at lap 1 !!!

I've had two more races, got a third and a fourth. The third should have been a second. I was a comfortable second with one lap to got, but I couldn't get rid of a chicane penalty. 0.755 seconds of penalty. I tried several times on straights to get rid of it. Then I slowed on the straight before the chicane - really the last straight of the race. It came down to 0.044 seconds - and then it stopped going down. So I lost a few seconds there. Off I went to the finish line, with 0.044 penalty ... I slowed after the chicane - nothing happened. Now the third car is coming. So I set off again ... I went round the corner and then I slowed right down b4 the finishing line. The third car is now onto the main straight. I put my foot down, but he beats me across the line. And I get a red dot, with a one second penalty! My SR stays though at 99. After basically stopping, the 0.044 was replaced by a whole 1.000 seconds. Weird.

Yes, this has been happening to me today in Race A - got the penalty down to 0.03 seconds in one race, but it wouldn't drop any further, and I ended up with a 1 second penalty. Next race, penalty dropped down to 0.2 seconds and then stopped.....

The penalties count upwards. 0,001 second at the finish counts as 1 second. The same with 0,999. It counts as 1 second. 1,001 seconds counts as 2 seconds. And so on. It’s stupid. They should add the penalties ones that are in the FIA-races

On an unreal tear today. (No French kids, though, maybe this does not count?)
Wait!!! Wasn't me???

Hey, guess what I learned, last night? The gear named R does not mean Race. Who designed this thing?
No clue what happened here. I didn't touch the shifter, and I didn't look at my gear setting, because it's always just starts in first, right? I'll be checking it from now on.
I ended up doing a Sven-style race, and still had fun making my way up to third.

LMAO!!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
I had that happen to me once too. Who checks to see if the game put you in the correct gear?

A first for me. A race where every single entry got an SR increase. At least, all S's were blue.

Decided to try a no stop strategy on Race C, in the Megane Trophy. Started 8th. Finished 5th in a very clean race.

I did the impossible. I overtook Lester and transcended into new levels.

... He passed me 3 seconds later.
I might have cried after the race. I never thought I would do that.
Senpai notice me.

Nice!! I had a similar encounter with Turismo-Jara one time at RBR, I passed him for all of 3 seconds and then he was back in front and took off lol. :)

I finally got a good enough Q lap. I'm done with it. Racing only, for the rest of the week.

Wicked, have fun out there!! How many wins you got so far?

I wish I could consistently get down that hill, I really want to race this car. I’m stuck watching movies tonight though so no racing for me. :(

I'm about to start my first race of the day, in 5 minutes. Only 5 races this week, so far. 2 wins. Hoping to add a few, today. 👍

40% conversion rate ain’t half bad! :)

Edit: Where do you get that thumbs up? I thought it was an emoji but when I try to use one it disappears when I post the message and I don’t see it here either. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/help/smilies

Edit 2: Nevermind, I’m a dummy, I found it. 👍 👍 :)

Edit 3: Nice Lap BTW, I just saw the time now. Well done old chap.

Same for you @Oshawa-Joe , heck of lap man! That’s gonna be really tough to beat! :)

You will finish with 0.2L left and a win.

Last night, took the good lady to a nice restaurant (not expensive Chinese but the food is fine) then home and I made cocktails and we had a swim n the pool (the water is 32 degrees although the air was cool at 20 C last night), then did some other things and then late, I thought I'd grab a drive. The TV in my office/Gym setup was on but I thought nothing of it. Drove the nice sounding Mitsubishi Evo (I've drive a real one and that one did not sound at all like the game's version) and after the pit stops, I was third, I was in close contact with the 2nd running Hurican, who had got stronger in lap 5, so I needed to keep close. All was sweet in a 16 car field with S, A+, A's and 4 B drivers. You beaut. Then my TV said it will switch off due to the power saving timer ... this has happened b4 so I grabbed the remote as I swept over the kink in the straight after the 180 degree U turn corner ... I just had to change the volume - but instead - I hit the similar looking rocker control on the left side of the remote ... not the right side ... it changed the HDMI channel. There's no way to go back without switching through all the other HDMI options using the HDMI buttons. It switchers into TV mode, and to get back to HDMI, you have to hit a reset button, then switch through until you get the correct HDMI port. And the old Pioneer Plasma has a 5 second delay while it handshakes each HDMI port. So I turned the PS4 off - thinking PD might wonder why a guy with a couple of laps to go would stop controlling his car, I lost 1,400 DR, and only 11 SR. Back to 88. That's several days points for me ...

So I tried the no stop Megane trophy this morning, early. Won both racers. The strange thing was in the second race, I noticed the TC light flicker. So I switched TC off. Towards the middle of the race, I noticed my lap times were over 1 whole second slower. and the front tyres more worn. I switched back to TC 1 (I have 3 Trophy cars won as daily prizes, and I picked a new one for the races not thinking there was a factory TC of 1). Just shows you that TC in a FWD ( or is the4 Trophy a FWD it doesn't feel like one except for the front tyre wear) in a fuel and tyre saving game / race, is maybe a smart move. Oh I only got 160 DR for the second win.

After not being able to join the 04:30 (internet acting up) and the 04:50 races (recovering from the act up), I was able to join the 05:10 race with the Audi, and I found myself to finally be consistent with it at Maggiore Forwards with a total race time of a 7:50. Obviously a pole-to-win, but hey it's an improvement really!

Can only manage one race per account so doing Race C all week.

The North American race at 7.30am MST in a WRX was absolute carnage.

Started at the back as usual, but the fun started even before the lights went out. It was back to the old days when people would just be ramming others off the track during the warm up. Had a Green & Gold flag do this to me, who also happened to be starting 2 places ahead of me on the grid, so I knew what to expect during the race.

Not only Green & Gold, but also 2 others driving under the Blue & White striped flags. All 3 were just out to ruin everyone's races, and 2 of them had 9 seconds of penalties before Turn 5!!!

All 3 had no intention of racing, and took every opportunity to take anyone out. Thankfully, the attention span ran of 2 of 'em ran out after about 4 laps, but one Blue & White flag remained, hurling around in a Lambo creating carnage. As I came out of the pits they were coming in fast down the straight and I saw them arrow towards me, but they misjudged and actually caught the grass and just hurtled through me. Karma is wonderful! I finished 8th, which was last position, and went up 8 places :)

All 3 got reported at the end, but I doubt anything will happen.

Did a European race at 12.30pm MST in the EVO. Started 16th. If I'd have finished my qualiy lap, I would have had a 1:06:7xx, which would have been good enough for startin 2nd. There were a few trouble makers around, but nowhere near as bad as the earlier race.

Fuel Map 1, pitted at the end of lap 6 in 2nd place, came out the pits in 4th and continued the good battle with 3rd placed Lambo until a Russian in an EVO tried to first take me out on the final turn of lap 8, but they ended up off track (at the end of the race they said I broke too early (I didn't).........and if that's the case why did YOU end up off the track). The Russian then claws their way back and on T1, last lap he tries to take me out again, but launches 4th place Lambo off the track. Nice easy drive to finish 3rd and a 1000dr increase.

I wish I could do more of Race C as it's a fun ride, but time just doesn't allow.

It's dirty hour again on race B. I just got the fastest lap in lap 4 while finishing last, that says it all... I got punted off the track a couple times, then just took some room to set a fast lap. 80% red ratings in that race...

I'm down to low 1:58s on a good lap without drafting (there's not much to draft in low DR.B starting from the back, it's always slower in the end) I tried the Audi and the Huracan yet switched back to the Porsche. Fits me better on this track. The extra stability is much needed to avoid (most of) the mess.

It always amuses me to get called a noob and learn how to drive by people that barely average 40 SR when I look them up on KP with weekly DR resets. Yep, I am the problem :)

Yes, this has been happening to me today in Race A - got the penalty down to 0.03 seconds in one race, but it wouldn't drop any further, and I ended up with a 1 second penalty. Next race, penalty dropped down to 0.2 seconds and then stopped.....

Are you sure it wasn't because you were trying to scrub the penalty off in a braking zone? Because that won't work.

So tried the Megane. Stupidlyndidnt run test laps. Started third, spin in T1, tried to get back on the track and spun again (TC then moved to 2). Ended up last place. Worked my way back up to 16th. Got shoved into the sand and the guy got no penalty at all. Then was dead last again. Kept driving and getting used to the car and ended up 9th.

Can’t decide if I love it or hate it, but I’ll keep driving it and seeing what happens. Lol

Lost 700 DR but gained a couple SR (90).

Damn this game is addictive.
