Good race man, this car is so tricky.

I did, I mucked up the grid start and fell back to third, passed 2nd on lap 2 but couldn’t get my mojo going to catch 1st, he was moving at a good pace. Good race overall though. I hope to see you in the next one.

Next race had an a+ on the pole, I got stuck behind the guy starting 2nd for a lap and a half so the A+ was long gone by the time I got to open road. Good race though none the less. Nice to see @Dairyworker in the field again as well. I hope your race went well man.

Oh man, thats brutal. Trying to explain to the wife i am in an online race when the dog alone goes nuts, i can't imagine a situation like thay. My head probably woulda exploded lol

There's a solution to stop people (most normally oner's partner) interrupting yourself in a race. When it happens, after the race, you explain that you incurred severe penalties. And that means that you have lost two weeks worth of points. And that it will take two whole weeks of effort to catch it back up. And then, attempt a strategy to make your partner feel sorry for your loss.

This all makes me glad that my other half is also an online gamer. The only discussion we had, was about my wheel.

Second race, not so good. @Pigems was there again but i lost it on the back chicane in the traffic of being mid field . Hope to do better next time. I tbink i can get a podium if i get the right room and a good flow going. My times are certainly a bit better than the other.

Lucky man @Bivittavus88 and i don't say that lightly, as i consider myself on of the luckiest men alive in that department. She smokes weed, drinks whisky, and likes muscle cars and heavy metal. Along with not caring about my gaming or hot wheels collection what else could i possibly ask for.... her to game aswell is about the only thing i can think of.

That last race put me back to DR A in this account, that’s pretty sweet.

Edit: Rooms are getting faster, 3 10’s starting front of me now.

Had 3rd locked down by a second and blew it in the Death Zone on lap 3, finished 10th lol. Oh well, that’s why I’m racing on this account.

Race C any qualifying tips. Can't beat 2:07.212 in the Huracan brake bias -1? And I've watched the top 10s already.

Brake bias 0. TC off. Brake slightly earlier than you want to for turn 3, then keep left. Then almost full throttle as you take the awkward right hander seems to give me nice drive up to turn 5.

That's the sector that gave me the most trouble, anyway.

Edit: David Perel has a nice track guide on YouTube. Granted, it's Gr.3. But, his lines are lovely.

Edit: Wow, got my time down to 10.6 and I’m starting 6th in the next race lol.

Edit2: Finished 4th, up one spot with only one major error but I managed to save it somehow lol, I had gotten a little ahead of @Dairyworker coming out of t3 and going down the hill and I thought I had enough room in front of him to take my ideal line and by the time I realized I didn’t it was too late and I had to make sure I avoided hitting him at that point first and foremost. I did manage to not make any contact but swerved all through the chicane and got 2 seconds in penalties haha I hope I didn’t mess you up to bad man, sorry about that man, it wasn’t on purpose.

Side note, coasting down that hill into the first chicane is a great place to kill or rallies without losing hardly any speed.

Just as I suspected....

I can’t drive without ABS

It may be faster without but it would take me a while to get used to driving without ABS just to find out.

@Sven Jurgens You are the Man! I have my rig in the den and even then I sometimes close the doors to block out distractions. I couldn’t imagine trying to race with all that going on around me.

My setup is in the basement and my kids know I’ll start growling if they come downstairs to ask dumb questions. I tell them “If it’s not broken or bleeding, wait until the race is over to ask anything.”

Raced quite a few races with Daisy-something-garden from Canada today. She was in the Mégane and would win (usually started 2nd). I would be 4th to 10th start so never won when she was in the race. But some guy was bragging he was at 99 wins and going to get 100 and then she would beat him in his Lambo and he would be all pissy afterwards. Said nonstops were for poor drivers. Was hilarious. Meanwhile she had something like close to 250 wins in 400 races. It was a beautiful slam on him.

I started at the back and made my way up to 4th, then I qualified so I could give @sturk0167 a go and he disappeared

Sorry bout that. I only did 3 races today and didn't really enjoy any of it. I think I just drove that track too much, this week. It was kinda getting boring/tedious. Overindulgence, I guess. I've felt that way about a few races, before.

I went deep in country all alone...
‘Get up and have a party...Get up’
I began way back at 11. Exiting sector 1 passed a no stop 86 to tenth...Nice...Some of my brothers from the Southern Hemisphere up ahead in a Honda and a lancer...Somehow exit final turn first lap ninth...Hmmm...
Into t1 take the Honda for 8...Wow...
Good race with only a minor bump from an overeager fellow racer, not enough to get him by the large heavy vette!
Finished up sixth after the 86 ran empty half a lap from finish...Good clean race...Picked up five...sr 99.
I’m very pleased.

Next race featured @Dairyworker and also the 2nd fasted guy in NA with an 08.2 Q time, no one was catching him.

Finished back one from where I started but it was a good run. The starts are different then they used to be, do you still need to use the brake when you rev it up? Or have false starts been eliminated? It just says grid start, not grid start with false start check like it used to in past races. Can I just hold throttle and wait for go now?

I think I've run less laps this week than any week since I started. Wanted to work my SR back up, so I ran my first C race, no Q. Started 12/13, no stop in the Ferarri. Short shifting left .3 laps of fuel at the end. Finished 8th with a clean race bonus. Best lap was a 12.1. I might try to get up to speed in B tomorrow and try to get a good grid and finish. At least I'm back to S, though only 86 points. I'll run from the back again and see if I get back to 99 tomorrow.

A handfull of races later mostly with @Pigems and and have spun once finished where i started a couple times and got taken out once.... on we go for more. I see pigems again, lets see if i can catch him lol

Good race @Dairyworker !! The Death Zone got me again on lap one, not an all out failure but I had to hit a lot of brake to save it and lost lots of time. Oh well, onto the next one!

You came close that time! Only 2s behind at the finish line I believe it was, great race!

Edit: Another fast room up next , 6 guys with times in the 10s and one guy with a 9.2. Death Zone got me on both of the first two laps, finished 7th, just ahead of @Dairyworker

True love indeed Ladies, and Gentlemen! My rig is currently a permanent fixture in our living room for this very reason (with the exception of my better half being an online gamer of course) .

I like fast and love races at La Sarthe. NGP is fun to me too. Had more good racing tonight and finished the night just over 21,500 DR (new high) and 98 SR (after dropping to 90 on one race). Had a guy winning that was no stopping a 458 Ferrari. Had another Mégane hammer me from behind and go off (I was running FM 2 because I get in the first few lap battles and forget to short shift), and then they pitted for fuel later. Think they took 7th. I was in tight action and next thing I knew I was in first on lap 7....and my fuel light came on as I was in FM 1 and not short shifting at all. Finished 11th. Everything else tonight (maybe 5 races?) I took either 2nd or 3rd. For me that’s a really good night.

It's a bit tiring with me getting bumped off track. First, a $C slams on the brakes at the final turn, I bump it and get 3 seconds. The, it wants to start bumping me and no penalty. I then have a clean race with a Jag and at the very end, out of nowhere get smashed at the final chicane. I get an "I'm sorry" from someone. It's getting played out.

Cute little car, but no grip especially above 60 miles.

Will this cause a reduction in my DR/SR or not since I haven't actually quit out of the race?

Bad morning so far, all DR has gone thanks to quality racers and SR was on verge of A rank but managed
to get a good race and got it back to 96 so one crisis averted...

On the subject above about partners, family and pets disturbing you; I was running 3rd on a Daily B Interlagos before Christmas, just about to make a move for 2nd. Kids had friends over. I had head phones on and when I race online (if it's not after midnight and they are asleep already) I ask everybody if they need me or not, confirm that I am about to race online, close the doors and to be fair, they know not to annoy me. Kids father comes to collect. Says he's gonna pop in and say "hi". His kids and mine both say "no" and explain. He decides as a joke that he's gonna do it anyway so bursts into the room and intentionally distracts me to a point that I ran straight off on T4 and hit a wall. I lost the head, told him to **** Off and threw him out of the house. Strangely, even my missus showed understanding toward me on this one. As he was leaving I heard his own kid say "well daddy, we did warn you".
