Assuming you are using left trigger to brake, have you tried any other game, used left trigger extensively to the max and experienced anything in the ui/display that would normally be attributed to right stick control? Or is it just a GTS thing?

I'm pretty sure you can turn Bluetooth off in the console settings anyway, just to rule it out.

Excellent work. After you're last Chevy effort I am disappointed that this is damage as opposed to custom livery detail!
Joey, I think you're onto something. They should make all the damage available in the livery editor. 💡
Get on it, PD. Hayaku! Mach Schnell!

They should make all the damage available in the livery editor.

I remember in GT3 (last one I actually played, don't hate me!) You could pay some credits to 'wash' your car and change the oil.

The game engine should do something similar and keep any aesthetic damage acquired on the livery skin race after race until you 'take it back to the garage' for a once over etc.

Enjoying the hell out of my new Camaro!

This usually how I test my new cars:

@Pigems, get out to the desert, man. I'm having way more fun than the daily races. 👍 For maximum fun in Time Trial mode, go to the race settings, and turn off the "Reset Car On Track".
I found a new jump.

Check out this idiot. Looks like he's just listening to his music, oblivious to what's going on around him. You're fired!

I think my beautiful classic car is pretty much totaled, already.:(

I hadn't noticed, until now, how much detail they put into vehicle damage. My lights got busted out, somehow. I think I hit a deer.

My first lap was 27 minutes.:lol::lol:

Sweet Air Man!! Where is the new jump? I neeeeeeeds to know this!!! :D

I finally bought the Peugeot 908i and decided to race her. Started P5/20 on a grid with around ten TS050s  (Yikes, it is gradually becoming a One-Make). I'd use the TS050 too but I enjoy the challenge of fuel management whereas the TS050 is opposite in that respect, it's a straight flat-out run to the finish line.

Either I was doing it wrong or the 908i isn't so economical as I thought on fuel. Management wasn't optimal since it was my first race. L1 I used a combination of FM1/2 (FM2 mostly on straights) and lap 2 onwards, I had to drop to FM2/FM3. In drafts or if I wanted someone to pass who was faster, FM4. I short shifted around 90% of the time. Not so important but figured I'd mention tyres were in a great shape at the end, 25 - 30% red at the front and a little less at the back.

The race itself went okay, I picked up a few track penalties although dropped to 9th at the end of the last lap by a few Hybrids. Finished 9th with 0.01 fuel remaining.

I had heard from @Alpha Cipher and @Sven Jurgens that while the DR system is fine, it's the matchmaking system that's "simple, albeit not fair." How would one make the DR system more fair, and do you think the current system for qualifying also has room for improvement? And if so, how? I know that for one example, when entering a race, you should only be able to use the exact car/setup you had used to qualify. Does the fact that players get an entire week to qualify also potentially affect GTS' fairness?

I had time for one quick race, luckily no disconnect

Great car. I've got it doing 3:28 laps now with fuel saving.

I only gained 2 SR for that race as a laggy car kept door banging me then bumped me off in the first chicane. The race is 5 laps... Nope got to hammer cars out of the way in the first sector! However then there was this, 18th to 9th in under a minute, mostly in Mulsanne where I gained 6 positions...

Fun!

@Sven Jurgens, is it true that the fuel economy changed at race C?

Not for the 962C, feels exactly the same as before.

The DR system is not fine, neither is the SR system, therefore matchmaking can never work fairly. Anyway these are my 3 cents for an improved system

@sturk0167 I found the jump you were talking about by the pits at Willow, it’s pretty sweet, nice find. It won’t let me clear the pit lane wall to land back on the track though. Also the replay camera doesn’t follow the car, it just shows the home straight with nothing and then a car pops up after I get reset, even though I turned that off. So unfortunately no cool replays from that jump, I did like a 1080 on the rear bumper along the pit wall after landing that would have made for a sweet replay but the camera caught zilch. :)

Gonna see if there are any jumps on the new track now. :)

Not so fast.

They changed the physics again, so catching the top 10 is a tall order at the moment.

My current Q time is 1:31.5. I could get the Audi into the 1:31's in races. My best lap this morning is 1:32.6. I was heading towards a low 1:32 when I spun, but it looks like getting to the 1:31's is a much greater challenge than it was yesterday.

I think the diff has changed so it doesn't slide the rear as much as it did before on braking. Corner entry speed seems slower to me, as in you have to scrub off more speed to avoid blowing the corner.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish they would hold off triggering changes like this until Monday's when the new Sport Mode races start. It sucks to hop in a race and make a mess of it all because they decided to change the physics without notice.
I didn't see any change ? Lowered my time to 1:31.294 this morning and i dont read anything about physics in the update report ?

See my earlier post.

Yesterday I was starting the race with 4.3 laps worth of fuel in the 908, which I could stretch to 5 laps.

Today I'm starting with 3.9 laps worth, which now means I'm having to refuel....

Fun car, isn't it? I think you and I both love driving the muscle cars. I'd lose my mind if we got to have a '69 Camaro daily race at Big Willow. 👍

Whoops, sorry. I hadn't yet backtracked on earlier messages when I last posted. Fast thread is fast. Now that you mention it, I remember another 908 pitted on the second from last lap. I thought it was strange but now it makes sense. 3.9 fuel did seem too low.

Have other Gr.1s been affected or is it a global change? I've only used the 908 since the update.

Just knocked my A time down to an 11.9, with and Optimal of .8 now. I was chasing Lester’s Ghost, I really like this new feature. A LOT! :)

I think I’ll go chase @Oshawa-Joe for a bit now, this is so friggen cool!

There also is now Ghost Options, you can now select to have your best lap + a loaded ghost on, one or the other, or none at all from the pre race menu. :)

I don't know whether other cars are affected, as I've only used the 908.

Nobody else has mentioned it here, so I suspect not.

Yup. It's changed. While the 908 has worsened, as per your report, the Mazda LM55 has improved. 👍 I just tried it, twice.
I supposed they've made a fuel economy BoP.

Shaved a little bit more off of Race A, down to an 11.892 now, I think that’s it though without doing 1000 more laps and hoping to get lucky. :)

That’s @Oshawa-Joe I’m chasing there. Great Lap man, very well done!

I guess I should go take a stab at Lagos now, I’ve been avoiding it all week.

I found one of my old posts in the GT6 Forum where I posted a similar picture to yours of my 1967 Chevy El Camino flying on Willow Springs! Funny how we both have flying muscle cars at Willow Springs!
