Well, I put a time in and got the trifecta, sent the pic in your messages lolIf I knew how to make one, I’d make it so the options included were variable, so the user can chose if they want a one make or class race, and then be able to chose which other options are taken into account for the equation, tire/fuel wear, # of laps, tire grade, starting amount of fuel, penalties, and what ever other options that would be worth adding. Then you could chose just how random you want your results.
You should have skipped it on the last lap and just stayed off until you crossed the line, that’s the only time it would work in an actual race.
I gave up after 2 back starts too, it’s a fun race but it’s not long enough to start at the back.![]()
This should work just fine: https://www.random.org/If I knew how to make one, I’d make it so the options included were variable, so the user can chose if they want a one make or class race, and then be able to chose which other options are taken into account for the equation, tire/fuel wear, # of laps, tire grade, starting amount of fuel, penalties, and what ever other options that would be worth adding. I think he just assigned each car a number and then used a random number genny online somewhere.
As @Hasnain282 said, you can do it quite easily in a spreadsheet. It'll just take time to input all the data. You'd have to decide how detailed you'd want it. You could go class/group for cars or let it do one make races too. That's a lot more info. You could also let it choose no. Of laps/length of time. Fuel and tyre deg.
But you'd probably want to think of a veto threshold.
Or your getting 30 laps of Nurburgring 24 with x15 tyres, x15 fuel... In the Sambabus...
This should work just fine: https://www.random.org/
Just print a list of all the cars and number each of them. Then if you want open classes included, give each of them a number, as well. Maybe even assign 5 or 10 numbers to each class if you want them to be selected more often. It would probably be a good idea to pre-assign a maiximum and minimum number of laps for certain laps. I wouldn't do 7 laps of N24. And in a 1 lap race at Miyabi, everybody would destroy each other.![]()
It may also be a good idea to omit the over $1,000,000 cars. A lot of people won't be able to race if it's a super expensive one.Sweet, thanks! I’ll see if I can work something out with that. I was honestly thinking about just deciding on the laps manually afterwards based on the output of the combo generator. The odds of it gets g he combo/lap number right would be tough unless the app let you set a specific time window for the race, and then it would need to know lap times for every car and then that’s way too much info to be involved lol.![]()
It would seem that LMP1 racing at la Sarthe has ruined everything Gr.3 related.
"Cool, there's loads of rear end grip."
"Since when did this car understeer so much?"
“Is there something wrong with my brake pedal?"
"Why won't it turn in?!"
I need to readjust. Still, 2:02.798 isn't a bad start. Especially on an empty stomach. Time for food.
It may also be a good idea to omit the over $1,000,000 cars. A lot of people won't be able to race if it's a super expensive one.
I for one, am gonna be really looking forward to the next 458 Italia race at Monza on comfort hard tires (probably the equivalent of rain). 👍Good thought!! An option to cap car price is a great idea. Or to be able to chose one make, but then limit the options to a certain class or classes. So for example one could do a one make race with a random car chosen from only N300/N400.![]()
Have not seen a familiar face yet on race a, what are you guys doing?

'Canes owner said he would match it ! Not signed yet but seems like he'll do it. As a Quebecer (born in Montreal) .... I'm in pain !The Montreal Canadiens signed a 21yo star UFA from Carolina to a hostile offer sheet yesterday that threatens to financially cripple the Hurricanes if they match it and I haven’t been able to look away since. Carolina has 7 days to match(and go broke) or let him go to Mtl and get basically diddly squat back in return for compensation. This doesn’t happen very often in hockey lol, they should have matched it by now and have claimed they are going to, but they haven’t yet.

Down to 1:26.9xx qualy on Race C. I'm pretty sure I can hit the 1:25s by the end of the week but that's going to need some clean laps.
Top leaderboards are nuts. Is it that much an advantage to use wheel over pad? There's no way you can turn like that on pad...
Could be ! Let's hope he's just putting on a show and he'll bail out at the deadline. 'Cos the only other option is Marner ....he would cost a ****load and money wise Leafs can put all kinds of dough on the table ! $$$$$Canes owner just lost 250m to a folded football league he’s in legal battles with too. He’d owe Aho 21m in the next 12 months and their gate sales last season were only 27m. Plus, aren’t the banks closed for the July 4th holiday? Maybe he can’t put the ,ones together before the deadline, even if he has it. We still might get lucky!!![]()
Yet Calster is really good at Gr.1 La Sarthe with a controller, for example - 14th on the EMEA leaderboard last week:For these super fast cars (even Gr1 and over), the gap between the DS and the wheel is massive. On the controller, I used to just skip these kinds of races

Not necessarily. I turned a 1:24.1 on the DS4 with auto. Had to lift in the flat chicane as I got my line wrong. I can dip into mid 23s really if I try.
For me, consistency is hard on a pad. Took me 500 km of hot lapping to get that. I bet the top guys are putting in way more km’s to squeeze those times out.
I’m 1.4 secs off the fastest time in the world sitting in 200th place.
My point, no matter what the peripheral device is, sometimes you just have to admit to yourself that people are just better/faster.
