Even better! Have you been playing that all? What’s good to do in that game? I tried a few races the other day when I got it but I wasn’t really sure what parts of the game were best? There seems to be a ton of Time Trials.

In AC i just drove the ferrari f2004 around spa mostly i think because i have never driven spa. I also tried the black cat county highway style track with an old 5 speed Porsche which was alot of fun until i rolled it haha. I never did a race because i was so trash with punishing realistic physics lol. Same thing in pc2 im just trying to survive. Gt makes it seem so easy in comparison.

I mostly bought AC for trying their supposedly amazing physics and pc2 for the tracks/cars GT doesnt have. One thing i always miss about GT is the HUD. I just find the layout so much nicer, especially in bumper cam. They are all fun games but im the best at GT and its online is the easiest especially for track day style lobbies. Making AC lobbies was a pain. PC2 isnt too bad for Making lobbies but idk how to do track day style ones.

Almost forgot i drove laguna seca a decent amount as well in a few different car.

Cool, thanks for the info, I’ve got PC2 as well but it’s HAF lol, AC is a bit easier, GT the easiest. Don’t forget AC has Laguna Seca, I was running a Miata around there the day when I was playing it, the Corkscrew turn is so much fun! I agree about the HUD too, GT’s is best, best replays too. :)

when i lose over 1000DR because of a single moron that dont use his brakes i just want to insta delete this game sometimes

I feel the same. I'll have video up later. :p

Lol I will be getting wreckfest as well at some point. I need all the driving games for my wheel.

Been waiting for PC2 to go on sale again. Sounds like it is & even with some of you guys saying it's tougher than GTS, I'll take my chances. Looking in the store this morning, the standard version of AC is down to $9.89 US. I just checked the track & car list & there just isn't enough there to justify a purchase from me.

Checking for PC2...Holy crap!!! The deluxe edition is down from $90 to $22.49! Standard edition from $60 down to $15. I'm on it! It's in the cart! Geez, it's funny seeing a $67.50 discount on the purchase confirmation page.

I have had a major desire to drive the Mustang GTO car in that game. Now I can.

Haven't raced since monday, is no stop still the way to go for race c?

I find myself going back to Mercedes for like a 3rd week in a row. Did some laps in the SLS and it feels so much quicker in qualy than the NSX I was using.

lol yeah man huge deal. i got AC Ultimate for 20 bucks which i thought was justifiable with the extra cars and tracks. its still not a deep roster but enough there to justify 20 bucks to try the physics everyone loves. as for pc2 for me the Deluxe is regularly 119.99 and i got it for 29.99. easy buy.

A lovely end to the week. Have had 2 horrible crashfest Race C in a row, being constantly attacked by the same French Citroen GT ruining both races.
Race 1, lap 1, I had the audacity to pass it in the first chicane so in the run up to the corner just before the penalty zone they saw fit to punt me off, sending me to last and a nightmare crawl up the order.
Race 2, for much of the race, kept hitting me and everyone around. In the fast S section I found myself alongside against my will and got pushed off into the sand, pitching my car into a spin meaning I flew back onto the track sideways into a Jaguar that hit me (I had no control and couldn't ghost) and saw me pick up penalties.
So yeah, ruined both races, kept SR 99 but lost 600 DR.
Maybe I'll try a third and hope I don't get matched with it again...

Here's a great example of lag, and it's effects on the track. @Sven Jurgens I found the replay of the incident we were talking about a while back.
In the first clip, you'll see that the game thinks the purple car went off the track. Then when it realized it's mistake, it accelerated him at about 9,000 mph to the spot where he actually was.

Here's a view from the guy next to me, who avoided the hit.

Here's what it looked like from my car.

This is what it looked like for the guy in second place, who obviously had no idea what was going on behind him, and appeared to get a little freaked out when he saw a car fly past him sideways, at twice his speed.

This last one makes me laugh a lot. It's from the leader's perspective, and as you can see, I was technically scored in first place for about 2 seconds.👍

Sorry for the long post. It's lag education. Also, I know a few people who will get a kick out of it. :)

havent done much qualy this week but just hit a 1:59.419 right before this race in the F1 gtr :). my goal was under 2 mins but i was sitting at 2:00.5 all week.

Not a bad run for the new livery and first race of the day, surprisingly fast room for the time of day too. Good race @bdubclub I got held up to much in the beginning to have any chance of catching up. :)

Sunday morning rooms are my favorite, usually nice and relaxed compared to other times of the day.
How long ago did this race end?

If I'm creating a US/Canadian account, I'll end up racing at about this time of day.
Then I’m sure we will have some run ins as this is the time I am on.

Now that really is a Bullet Bill power up!

I haven't generally driven that many daily races, as the C races have typically been higher groups of car, which I'm not so keen on. But this week's Gr.4 at Dragon Trail Seaside, with a choice of strategies, was quite appealing, so I gave it a try with my 3rd account. My first attempt, at 20k DR, was shortly after midnight, and did not go well. I see now that I used the wrong car, trying to do a no-stop with the Jag, as Kie had done in his stream, but I felt like I was struggling hugely with fuel use all race. Also, my QT wasn't great, and the driving standards made me feel like I'd stumbled upon some secret fight club type of lobby. I finished low down and lost some DR. So, I tried the NSX and Huracan, as people who finished high up in that first race used those, and the NSX was the car that really clicked with me. Tried a private practice lobby to test strategies, and got my QT down by a second before having another go this afternoon. It went much better, my overall race pace was undoubtedly now very competitive, but I wasn't getting the finer details right. I was getting swamped by one-stoppers early on, the driving standards still weren't great, so I was losing a lot of time when some people divebombed me, and was too far back after people pitted. Nonetheless, my DR steadily went up with some reasonable finishes. I settled on starting off like a no-stopper so as not to get swamped, building up a fuel deficit, then gradually easing back on the fuel use as the field spread out. If someone came up behind with sufficient extra pace that it seemed clear they had to be stopping, I pretty much just let them through and drafted them. I still found the standard of the lobbies quite variable, but I ended up with 3 wins, taking my DR up to 27k. The driving standards seemed better in the higher rated lobbies, there was a lot less accidental impact due to incompetence, but also less divebombing, people seemed more familiar with the rules of motor racing regarding the amount of required overlap for a legitimate overtaking opportunity to exist. I hope PD continue to throw in some of these lower group race Cs.

Yesterday I screwed up my strategy in Race C and decided to take tires while I was anyway in for fuel. Big mistake.
The good thing is, it's only 30 minutes to the next race of redemption.
So I'm in a lobby again with A/S drivers and some B/S drivers infront of me and I'ms starting 15th. The chicane of death is good to me and I harvest a few positions every time I'm going trough. At 14:25 I have chased down a Honda and I take the inside line at turn 2, and I have seen the incident in replay from different angles and I can not say that I have any contact but he goes off track and I don't get a penalty and I get a green marker at the next timing point.
At the end of the race I'm in 7th ! I have tamed the Dragon this week....

LIVID...

I was just in a Race C lobby for the final roll of the Dragon Trail dice. Started P9. 1-8 a mixture of As and Bs. I was running P6 on L5. I assumed it was a case of mistakes or fuel saving - I certainly wasn't. L5 was my in lap and as is customary I was too greedy at the COD, oh well. So P9 by the time we got to the pits. By final lap I was actually in P7 and was happy to cruise through the COD one last time and give nothing up. The B rated guy behind was having none of that and punted me into the wall. I finished P11...

As it was the pole sitter, a rank A, finished 18/18 and another rank B driver DNF so I actually gained a whole 40DR... But I'm livid. Ugh. If I'd thrown it away myself I'd accept that. But it was snatched...

I'm going to go sob into my pillow now.

I did a daily C race, NSX again, fm2 with minor short shifting. I got dive bombed twice, both times I end up with SR Down, second time he put me in the gravel but the game gave him thumbs up. He pitted later, I finished 6th, would have been 5th without the dive bombs, gained 300 DR, didn't enjoy any of that race. So one is enough again, daily race done.

Next week is looking even more bleak. Oh well, now the penalty system has completely shifted in favor of dive bombs, I don't mind taking a break in outer space. Back to my ship!

This has been the best week for dailies I've ever had, after an uncharacteristically fast qualifying had me starting at the front of the grid, culminating in 3 consecutive (!!!) wins. I was able to win them by a pretty comfortable margin too, not having to pass makes fuel saving much easier.
