Yeah I was hoping to see a special on the Podium bases :(

The V3 pedals have a decent discount though. I’m a bit more a fan of the CSL load cell though, I love how I can fine tune my brake quicker and more to my liking with them.

I can’t race with a DS4 anymore, been using a wheel since GT5 and I can’t go back, I feel useless with a DS4 lol.

Same here, I can’t even keep a car on the track with a DS4 anymore.

The TS050 can be driven in FM1 the entire race, just short shift a bit for the first lap or two and then you can go flat the rest of the race. :)

Thank you for your advice.
Look at this animal. I made a mistake and lost the lead on lap 3, got it back via pressuring the guy and he tries to torpedo me off at the last corner.

Idiot.

Stuff like that happened to me this week in every single race. Unlucky me, the divebombs thrown at me did not miss their targets like this example of a gentleman.

I do not come behind the benefit of this behaviour. Expect that the victim will go mad at this grebes.´

All I'm gonna say is this. On corners, the non hybrids are like racing against street cars when against hybrids.
Being stuck behind one on the chicanes is like the most frustrating thing ever. You lose like a second. I know sportsmanship and all that. But man, those cars have no business racing with modern hybrids. Some heavy bop and fuel tuning from PD is needed.

Welp, down to SR B for the first time in 1/2 a year because a Hybrid braked sporadically at Porsche Curves, I bumped him and he made sure to graze the wall so 4s. He "revenge" bumped me at Dunlop Curves, got 3s himself and gave me a boost since I went outside track limits.

Still having fun to not really care that much. I hope next week will have a Race C with generous SR points. I'm going to need it, lol.

E: My next race at SR B was pretty clean. I pit at the end of L1 in the LM55. I was in 15th place and left the pits at the same spot. I'm guessing there was a pile up at the chicanes. I thought it was lag. Passed 5 Hybrids (that never gets old) and managed to stay ahead to finish 10th. I might try qualifying later/tomorrow.

I don't know about all that. Driving the porsche I am usually able to pull away at the chicanes except for a 0.3 to 0.4 sec gap change on the hybrid boost until I pull the higher gear. The hybrids are killing me when I pass on the straight, get a clean fast start from the turn and the hybrid who I passed just barely gets ahead before their boost dies and the first thing they do is pull over dead in front. We know the differences in how the cars accelerate, don't try and punt yourself by thinking that works because I will find a way to launch by. I haven't seen anyone in the group c cars use that pull over and block to bottle up the hybrids out of the corner, why do I see the hybrids trying it? Just determined to create bumping and punting.

Good news. If you get the Hamilton mode, it adds it to all of your profiles. Didn't expect that. 👍

Edit: I guess it makes sense. You're just adding content to the game.
Hadn't really put any thought into it. :dopey:

it nice and its what makes gameshare work. me and my buddy gameshare so he got the LH DLC when i bought it. definitely comes in handy only having to buy half the number of games lol. it has some minor drawbacks though, like we have to know each others password to sign in and set up your friends console as your primary and vice versa. if sonys servers go down you cant play games you didnt buy or whatever cause sony cant authenticate it but that rarely happens.

Has anyone ever figured out why sometimes you get an SR down when leaving the pits. It's happened to me about 30-40 times. It happened again at Lemans, this morning. Only thing I can think of is that I bumped the wall on my pit entry. Hitting a wall is normally just a time penalty, though.

I was just in one and @Dairyworker takes the victory for Canada and GTP!
Nice work. If you happen to be bored checkout my lap two on Mulsanne into the first braking zone.
Fricken outta control Bugatti slides into me smashing me off and I collect a five second pen.
That’s one of the worst ones that’s happened to me here.
I had a fine recovery, but sheesh...That was ridiculous. Now to sr A. WTH.

Having some fun and good races this morning. Got my first race c victory and a friend was even there to see it. It was a battle with a guy in a ts i think it was, he ran out of gas at the start of the last section. Not sure if it was bad planning anyway or i pushed him to hard for his plan.... either way, yay me.

You either touched the wall on pit entry or crossed one of those imaginary track limits right before the pit. It tells you after that you've been a bad boy. Pit entry walls are the only walls that give SR down instead of a time penalty, cause PD logic.

I'm trying the Jag again, it's definitely worse after the patch. I saw @Dairyworker in the first attempt but quit after get track limit penalties and ending up in the sand. Second attempt I still went wide in places, the car locks up completely under full braking no adjustments possible. To enter Mulsanne you have to aim it right and for Indianapolis pump the brakes to keep it going around the right bend since you have to already start braking a bit before. At Tetre rouge pepare to get bumped wide, got to slow down a lot to make it. Same at the entry of the Porsche curves where I got punted into the sand again. The excessive tire wear doesn't help either. It's a real challenge now to get this one around the track.

Actually I loose more than a second from hybrids trying to block or swipe when I go by. If you are any good at using the hybrid you can get pass me on braking and out-accellerate me out of corners. I won't block you so don't block me when I fly past on the straight

I wondered where you went. I felt the 962 also was a bit harder to drive this morning...

Hmm, I'm doing one more in the Jag then try the others again in the afternoon. I just saw @Voodoovaj driving the same car, he seemed to be struggling with it as well. I have the braking points down now (way early braking) as well as the tire wear. Still can't get under 3:30.3 for a lap. That 3:29 I got Tuesday seems impossible now. The TS050s seem to have no issues :yuck:

The V3s are with the load cell and tuning kit. Never used them - still expensive. T3PA Pros are over 200 by the time you've a load cell on them though.

Yeah I know the V3 are a load cell, I just prefer the pedal on the CSL with the design allowing better fine tuning IMO.

Happened to me a few times. I think it happens when you're going in to the pits a little too hot, and when the ghost takes over it still clips a wall (even though you don't really see it). Not sure if they're intentionally giving an SR down instead of a penalty, but that would SUCK coming out of the pits with a 5 second penalty lol

This is the best I can do now with the Jaguar

Can't get under 3:30 anymore. I got a bit closer in my last race which was with drafting and a bump that made me miss part of the chicane, does not count. 3:30.3 was the best in the first race I did. 17:56.977 total race time

The last race did give me something to complain about, so not useless
V3eP8ea.gif

Just a simple 5 sec penalty for ramming a C/S driver with my back bumper.

@Groundfish I'm going to try the Mazda first, got a need for speed and engine sound.

Ya, I can't keep people from running me off the road and when it's heavy with fuel, it doesn't want to turn. I tried to one stop it, but I grazed the wall coming into the pit and got myself a 5 second penalty, which is more than the people who ran me off the road got.:rolleyes:

Made the mistake of qualifying for Race B. Got a 1:30.8xx in the Mustang, and started 8th on the grid.

Turn 3 was the usual **** show and I entered the straight in 16th place; dead last. Exactly where I would have been if I didn't qualify!!

Qualifying improves your chances. It's not a guarantee. I've started first and been punted off. I guarantee that if you run a dozen races from last and a dozen races from further up the grid, your overall finishing position will be better when starting closer to the front.

This is why I played around with qualifying in race B last night but won't race it. First lap is a :censored:show and I am not fast enough to make it up after that. Braver than me for heading out there.

After all the talk about handling changes from the update I am wondering if I am going to be switching back to the Toyota in race C tonight:(. I was really enjoying the 962 for a change.
