yep daily C is exactly the same 2 week in a row only the track change same tires multiplier and fuel :/
 
VERY late to the party this week, not even been able to do my daily workout every day! So chucked in some qualy times on Autopolis, satisfied with what I got there, thought I'd have a run at Tsukuba in the RX7 which is bound to be fun. Lots of power, rear wheel drive, sports tyres, screaming rotary engine... WTF??!! SETTINGS???!!! Like I've got time to be messing around with that stuff! Won't be hitting my K time there then!

If you want a quick setup to run, check this post out. There's another good one somewhere around, but can't find it.
 
Wait did anyone see the race with Hamilton & Alex when Hamilton saw a gap & went for it?
And after the race he said it was a wrong move?

That's what you did but you feel it was right. See that's the problem you trying to justify a bad move.
Hell I hit people and I slow down if it my fault, I would rather a clean race & loose than a dirty race win.

Everyone knows you coming into a corner like that you start from the outside & move in you was not next to him until he turned. If you say the driver would off lost control then you should of waited & race to the line.

And if I remember right I seen a lot cut that corner more with no penalties.
 
I woke up this morning to my qualifying time disappearing. I reconnected to the server and restarted the app with no luck. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Yep I run with snail here at gtplanet. It's a fun league with a great bunch of guys. I probably wouldn't play online if it wasn't for snail. The penalty system in dailies is so flawed that it's not fun at times.

I think I tried to join but the time difference was a problem.

Autopolis hates me. At least in Gr3. Maybe I hate it? Perhaps it's mutual. I've had good races in Gr2 there. But this Gr3 business? It hates me. Or maybe I hate it.

Regardless, another race finished in the pits so I don't hinder others.

I've not played much this week but what the hell is going on with the physics?

The R8 at Autopolis is a mess. If you're got traction, it understeers but under all other conditions it oversteers wildly. I've watched the top replays and they're merrily mashing the throttle in a manner which spears me into the barriers.

Anyone know what other quick cars are, to avoid me just working through the catalogue. I'd aim to be high 1:44s here, I'm a second off.
 
I say this with no evidence at all but I think if you have a wheel it helps you immensely at Autopolis. The wheel helps you with turns and you need to hit a lot of these turns perfectly at Autopolis otherwise you miss the Apex, possibly have to down shift and your driving line is bleeped.
 
Down to 1:00.490 at Tsukuba. I’m only a few hundreths away from being in the America’s top 100. Im going to keep working on it.

Edit:

was gonna do FIA manu at Tsukuba, but accidentally hot lapped through the start.

I went back to the RE...grip is a little more, eh, fluid, with that? Rough first lap back, haha.

Ok, I finished my testing for tomorrows‘ upcoming Daily Race C.
Done some quick runs in my 458 (what else) haha, and there is no fuel saving necessary.
It’s flat out from 1st to final lap. No stop of course.
My laps were almost all between 1‘23,5 to 1‘23,9, I don’t know what that‘ll be worth but, I’ll find it out tomorrow I guess... :)

Well, it was a nice morning of clean racing in the land of the living at 99. The top two starting spots were consistently taken up by sub 1 minute qual times, and a fella planted in pole every race whose way up there on the leaderboard. He was running consistent 1 flat to 1.2! Laps never varied that I saw by much!
I finished third 3 times from third. The best race was the second? I held off a hard charging driver for 4 laps. When it’s clean it’s a great track to race. Had the Adrenalin pumpin. I ran the car stock bb 0 tcs 3 with tops speed autoset lowered. This produced low 1:01 laps consistently. Almost went sub 1:01 a few times, but missed it by hundredths. Tcs worked great on exit, a lot of slipping and sliding going on behind me. The last race I started seventh, and picked up 2 places. All around a great Adrenalin filled morning!
Clean race streak is sitting at five right now, times are good on alt. I am waiting for a good FIA to repair the main on sr. 99 is where it’s at.
