Not doing well in race A, but having fun anyway. Still getting CRB even with getting tapped a bit and pushed wide on exits. Got to figure out how to negate the Fit on the straights. They can bog everything up in the turns and make it out a bit on the straight again.

Never mind. Got a pole and win in my next race. Much better on turn 1 amd a slightly different line on the final turn. Lots of close racing and bumping, top 4 of us all finished less than a second apart. I will call it a night after that.

Close racing

Edit: About the 2. It pulls at the start and mid-corner thru the exit. 2nd or 3rd gear will give an advantage if a trajectory is clear of the lagging Fit. The close gears of the Fit, give it RCZ-type acceleration. SO, from the final corners, the 2 is very quick while turning & accelerating. Fit pulls it once its wheels are pointing straight.

Anyone knows which car dominating leaderboard for C race in EMEA?

Half the board is the Audi R8 but the top two times are the GT by Citroen and a Porsche is faster than all the Audis too. There's a Huracan on there too.

It's Gr3, a number of cars should be good, even multiple ones not currently on the board, especially if you are consistent in that car. ;)

Ill start Q with trusty Rcf prototype, then Atenza maybe?

Used to be very good here, not sure now and it did get a tiny nerf, still worth a try though. Vantage and Viper were both ace at Fuji and were improved too so should at least be decent here.

Just watch out for any Beetles, they are often the car of choice for pushy drivers and might be ok here too.

Beetles can keep up here, same with NSX. Lots of good cars for Race C.

Some Gr2 action from last week. My GTP account in the Nissan, then another day on my main account in the Lexus. One time another driver let me win on purpose, the other time the other drivers let me win by accident. ;)

In the above race I ran about as fast as I could over the race distance and it would not have been anywhere near enough had the driver in front actually wanted to win.

In this race I did everything but crash off, somehow, a number of my opponents were not so lucky. :D Although why the Greek driver tried a zero stopper is anyone's guess, they were running 1'54 laps for the last two laps and crashed the lap before, their tyres were completely wrecked.

Well did a lap or two for race C in a few cars. Don’t know track much, and was pretty rough, don’t even wanna look at times yet from other people lol.

Jumping in first race with the AMG for stability, I’m not good at any corner yet! Here we go!

Grip seems tricky to maintain here! Trying to short shift corners a lot, don’t know if it’s helping lol

goodluck!

Catalunya is like Fujii, Lots of grip on the line, little everywhere else. Run it in circuit guide first.

Oh, reading the news article on the new dailies combo just made my morning :D! I've got virtual classes, so I'll just leave my 908 running rubberband-accelerator-assisted laps of Northern Isle Speedway until my classes end. Should also give some fast people time to set the bar up high in qualifying times to start the week.

PD, if you're listening, THIS is what other racing games are missing. Weekly rotative races with various themes. Please don't stop doing it !

Thanks, I’ll check it out. Qualified 14th (I think) first try, and finished a well deserved 15th lol.

Got a little more comfy, but no big leaps lol. Looks like a fun track to race on though
It is. You can learn the basics pretty fast, but there are small extras to pick up for a long time. People hate on the final chicane but it's not bad at all if the line is right.

The only issue I have with race B is that we've had all GR4 races be FWD dominated for weeks now due to BoP, so they chose a FWD car as the only option this week.
I'll stick to the GR3 race, tried it in the Alfa 4C, no real tyre wear but the car was very flighty on the different cambers and on the many direction changes making smooth lines difficult. Got targeted by a Renault that obviously got frustrated not being able to pass whilst we were in traffic, so punted me off 3 times in the end, luckily I'm now back to SR. S

Think you hit it right on the head there.
Did one race B, was interesting, can’t decide between 2nd n 3rd gear on almost every corner :). Find myself going into the slower corners in 2nd, and quickly jumping to 3rd. Hmmmm

Thanks. Yeah... not digging that last chicane lol. Been TRYING to break hard straight, then throw it in over the sausage’s, and failing. Prolly try to get used to a more natural line first next time.

edit - wow 2nd run at race B, dirty dirty dirty. Might wanna get my quali up before doing that again lol

Same on 2nd run at Barcelona, hoping it’s mistakes on everyone’s part including me, otherwise last 2 Races B/C - the 2 dirtiest races I’ve prolly ever had.

both times I just tried to stay as far away as possible, but kept getting boxed in first few laps, people hitting every singe angle of my car, crazy.

Yay clean/good race at Fuji, I was getting alittle discouraged lol.

Edit- Few more good ones at Fuji, some carnage, but avoided it, couple of good battles, fun.

On to try A! Assuming that he/she who masters the last chicane wins? :)

First race a was very clean fun! Thought it’d be bumper cars! A nice way to start!

Forgot to post this "from the back" video from last week earlier. ;)

Usual stuff and a  penalty for being run into, ended up gaining one more spot before the end because one of the cars in front had a few off track moments.

Hopefully I get some time to run Race C this week, should be a good one too.

Since I'm on a small break from making FIA guide videos, I decided to start putting in some time into the Daily Race guides. Race C rotated first, so I got to work there. Eventually decided "Hey, I already got a good time, let's do a quick, chill race; and get that part done with."

Some dude decided that that "chill" part wasn't going to happen.
This 1:30 AM "chill" race turned into a tryhard, sweaty race.

Here, we see a wild Lester in a daily race in the early morning.

What is the car for Race A? I'm already not interested in Fuji if it's an FF one make. Another week of exclusively doing race C I guess.

Well, race B is out for me. I'll probablt spend most of my race time on C. Hope to be competitive in the A/S rooms. I did run 20-25 laps in practice for A. Got my first top 10 time (6th when I left). Doubt it will hold up, but I think I got 3 tenths in me, maybe more. I'll try again later if times seem to be in reach. I'll wait and see what Lester puts up. Might run through a bunch of gr3 cars at Catalunya and see what works for me.

Lex prototype QT after 10laps 1,46.570
Now time for Atenza...
Ahhh I dont have time for this, jumping into race:lol:
Aaand disconected, but thats ok, I probably would be last, very strong lobby 4 A+ drivers, my QT and pace is too weak for this level... Started 13th. What I really like is that players are mostly very clean in this lobbies.
Be back to mid-high B this week for sure, who cares:) good luck everybody:cheers:
