Took a look at my four Race C's from last night. Earlier evening sessions were very nasty, dirty affairs... elbows out just to survive.
Later evening races were really more or less clean. Wonder if anyone else sees what the main difference was.
Net -18 SR down in the first two races. Combined 30 SR points in the two later races.
FWIW, the only issue I had in the rave at 3:00 was with the fellow with the blue and white flag, who decided to block and try to run me off at Hawthorn after I had a clear run and was ahead of him entering Hawthorn. Got me a 2 sec penalty for holding my ground when he tried to squeeze me off late on the apex there... and on the first lap, no less.
As you can see, I was sandwiched between two green flags on the nastier races.
And to be fair, they weren't the only offenders... the US driver who finished 12th/13th in the earlier two races was the worst one I came across, and ruined both of those races for me right up front, but there was a lot of unnecessary 'elbows out' defensive driving necessary when it would have been better and faster for everyone if the blocking and crowding wasn't going on.
All that aside, a net pickup of 2000 DR for these four races was fantastic value for the time spent. And it remains true that the easiest way to pick up DR at these DR level lobbies(in the Americas region) is to get knocked into the 80-90 SR level lobbies, where a podium finish is nearly assured, take the DR grab while you repair your SR, and then claw out some more when you return to the top (90-99) S SR level. I always come out ahead on DR that way, and I've seen plenty of Kudosprime charts that demonstrate that it's far and away the best way to achieve a high DR, compared to your actual race speed.

Had an easy top-5 taken away by penalties 'earned' by holding my ground against the Colombian driver in the 0:00 race... so damn frustrating. Lost 8 sec in penalties due to late swerving and ill-advised squeezing attempts as he attempted to make a Ferrari work in a pack of TT's.
