I'm done for the week after achieving my 195th win yesterday during Christmas which puts me close to reaching 200 wins before the end of the year.

And Race C really put me to the test on trying to overtake as many drivers as I can due to the optimal pit strategy being used. Suffice to say I'm capable of pulling the 1M 5S strat but if I'm on the grid where it includes A+/S boys, that's where I may switch to a 2M 4S strat.

I'm so looking forward to Race B around Yamagiwa II tomorrow.

After the second time, I'd have sent him to the shadow realm when I caught back up to them.

After the 3rd(?) ish time I was kinda planning on it, but I never ended up near him again. I’ve gotten dragged into SR-B, and guys in the mid pack have been punting me in the final chicane too.

I caught him punting people in the final corner and reported him a couple races ago, I haven’t seen him since.

I have doing some practice in Gr3 cars for Kyoto Yamagiwa II. Been using the V12 Vantage to get a feel for the track. Any any idea what the better cars might likely be. The Supra again? The McLaren. Jag F Type???

META cars are just the best for the majority of players. Test until you find one that is either the fastest or most confidence inspiring to you. You are trying to improve your skill & speed. If using the META car does that, great. If you do better in another car, then you get to embarrass other drivers in the META. It's quite hilarious when you do that.

I get that. That is why I like the FF group 4 cars (esp the VW and RCZ) , and why I use the less twitchy Gr3 cars. But, I have found that I have been underestimating my ability to handle some of the more sensitive Gr3 cars, and did not want to plow through every one of them to see (1) if they were quicker and (2) if I could handle them.

But, my question is something like asking people to do my homework for me, so that is not cool.

Anyway, just thought that some people might know from experience what is likely to be the fastest 3 or 4 cars (based on the track layout), and I would give them a go.

The important thing about the track is the fast left-right sections where you need the car to have good turn in. Going in reverse, the fast section before the start finish line is going downhill & you'll overdrive cars in that section. The FR cars are good at that (Supras are a favorite). I like the Mustang (bad on cold tires on lap 1) & Viper (better, but still be cautious on lap 1). The Corvette is a better balanced car (IMO). Plenty of people will swear by the 911, but I haven't practiced enough to be fast or reliable in it.

What a week on the Mountain, Race C was out of the question, I love the GR2 cars and the track is so much fun but I would need many hours to feel comfortable there.

Unlike the mountain that I for some reason can survive on. This was the best race of them all and for once it's even fun to watch if you weren't in the race. I am driving the WV even though my fastest Q lap was in the Megane, the WV gave me much more confidence and as you can see in the video that was very much-needed.. Enjoy

I've driven the Ford GT at Yamagiwa, but I feel like the curbs make it very twitchy & sometimes I have to take a curb to dodge some idiots on track. I feel like the Corvette is a bit more forgiving.

Last week's C was awesome as I expected, here's my hotlap of the combo that ended up 🥉 in the world

Did four sessions of Daily Race B today and going to this race I am motivated due to the qualifying time I was able to produce with a 1:31.9 that really put me on pole for the four sessions I'm in. Out of those four sessions I managed to bag 3 podiums with two of them being a win in different Gr.3 cars. Here's my qualifying time replay.



Now onto to my first session. As expected since with the qualifying time I was able to produce it landed me a pole position but since it was my first time doing a Daily around reverse Yamagiwa, I didn't mind losing out on this one and it happened because of the first corner where I braked late but I was able to finish a respectable P2 at least. I used the Beetle in this race.

My second attempt was where things got oofy. Got into a mess with a fellow Beetle user (was using the Beetle again) and then some GR Supra user decided it was a good idea to make someone go wide and I got squeezed as well so I lost out on a win or even a podium in this one and only finished P6.

Third attempt was where things are starting to look up as I finally managed to get a win on this track and also a good duel as well for P1. It was also my first win with the Beetle Gr.3.

And for my last session for today was where I changed cars from the Bug to the WRX as I want to check out how viable it is for me and turns out it is viable but if there are GR Supras behind me I would have to create a good gap as soon as possible otherwise for the rest of the race I may be under the threat of an overtake when me and the other drivers are on the high speed sections of the track since the WRX is not much of a power car for me at least. This part I failed to create a good enough gap so I was under the threat of two GR Supras for the whole race.



Although despite the threat of an overtake, something happened where the two GR Supras got into a scuffle during the fourth lap on the second corner and it allowed me to create a big enough gap to get away and from there I got my first win with the WRX Gr.3 as well.

Overall I'm really looking forward to spending the whole week focusing on this Daily only. Have a good feeling about it and this Daily may finally land me 200 wins before the end of the year.

After doing some race A hot laps at Suzuka in the NSX, it's apparent that after 4+ years of playing this game,
I still have no idea how to competently enter the Spoon turn.

One of my favourites for Yamagiwa is the M6. I find it twitchy on full throttle so you have to feather it, but once you get the hang of that it's pretty powerful here.

I was cursed this morning. Just cursed. Dirty lobbies and an uncooperative wheel.
Starting race B mid pack. But the first attempt should have been a warning. The person in P3 didn't move until the green flag. I came upon the pile at the right time but had to go to the grass to avoid them all. Up to P4 into turn one. But the blob was right behind. Cue divebombs and general pusing from about 1 cars trying to get to the apex. I of course was then knocked onto the grass and the car decided to audition for Dancing on Ice. DFL. Fought my way back to 9th only thanks to the dirtiness of the lobby. I go again in the Lambo and set a quicker time. It's good but that bloody chicane eats it for breakfast. Racewise I had again moved forwards due to dirtiness around me. I was having a good race with a Luxembourgian in a Beetle. We past two in the barrier. However the next lap they seemingly caught us. I passed the Beetle down the main straight. However into the first chicane I was tapped from behind and was spun. I do not know if this was the Beetle or the Vantage catching us both and playing snooker. I lost in all of it. Especially after I recovered I was hit into the next hairpin too. Thankfully they let me back past out of the last corner, so full kudos to them.
Decided it was time to try Fuji. Yup worked forward for the car to not turn into GR Supra and around it went. This put me into the path of a dirty German. They twiched coming out of TGR and I went alongside. So out comes the sideswipe. They get a taste of their own medicine later on as they are spinning in smoke on the grass out of the same corner a few laps later. I claim a few more positions but the damage had be done. What was a promising race on one of my better tracks was a knightmare. Back to race B then.
Back in the Supra once again early race promise was ruined. My own fault this time as I spin it coming out of the tight hairpin. Bloody car!
I put in a few more laps in Q and go faster by 1.2 seconds. Hopefully this may put me clear of some of the chaos as I start P5 now. Yeah... No. Again punted and I drop places to the back. I catch a Frenchman in a Vette. He's cautious into the final corner so I go around the outside. He runs me off on the exit. I keep her straight and snap. I have been barged too many times today. I catch up just before the tight hairpin and send them to meet Barry. I do not feel proud but I do feel better (slightly). Again thanks to other dirtiness in the race I make it up to P9 before the end.

Race B seems to call me more than the other 2 but boy is it a battleground.

Supra is my 3rd fastest car at race B. The entire top 10 list is Supras, but after some testing, I managed to beat it with the FT-1 and Beetle. I suppose it's a matter of certain cars, working better with some people's driving styles.

Race B has been pretty timid so far. A welcome change from the ramming punt fest race C was yesterday. I got into the top split rooms though, trailing behind with a couple other 'normal' people, barely finishing in time.

I guess I lost enough DR now to get into the lower split, A/S B/S room, finished 5th from last due to fights breaking out on the track. I overtook one car, the rest were all wrecks. All blue S after the race, yet plenty bitching.

It was all Supra in the top split. The lower split room had some imagination. I'm starting with the Lexus as usual. That chicane in the middle definitely flows better in the normal direction. Very awkward to enter it this way. Mostly because so far I've been expecting it to link to the Miyabi section

Did one race at Suzuka and it will be my last the only way forward is getting your elbows out and making room where there isn't any, and with a car that slips and slides things get dirty whether you want it or not.

Supra is my 3rd fastest car at race B. The entire top 10 list is Supras, but after some testing, I managed to beat it with the FT-1 and Beetle. I suppose it's a matter of certain cars, working better with some people's driving styles.

Every time the SUpra is META I go a just as fast, if not faster in the FT-1 without fail.

Tried 1 Race B today. Started 3rd. Finished 7th. Fun combo.

Cleaner than I expected. But lots of lag. Probably due to holiday traffic across PSN.

I enjoy driving it as it suits my style, especially at seaside, but damn, you get gobbled up in a straight line. It an be very, very hard to pass in it.

Yeah, it definitely lacks top end. If that race had lasted one lap more the Supra would have definitely passed me. He was right on me as we passed the finish line. But so far I think it also is the best for my driving style. It’s very stable and good on the brakes.
