Daily, weekly and monthly rivals

A NAT type 3 is a bit one way in that doesn't forward incoming traffic, so this could be the problem regarding the Rivals ghosts. It will allow to connect outwards to servers though. It's not really the best for online gaming with a type 2 or 1(open) being much better.

A network test, accessed in your PlayStation's system settings, will tell you which type It's using.
Thank you for the reply confirming it's on my end, that's what I really needed to know. I had suspected that was the case. I'm defo on NAT 3. Going to check the Station & router settings, failing that it'll be a phone call to the internet provider tomorrow. Cheers mate.

I bought the game shortly before delisting date and have been running the daily, weekly and monthly rivals since then.

The number of tracks means the track and car combinations available to be used are almost infinite (well, it must be a big number anyway), so I have been having lots of fun and will keep doing them until the offline date in February 2026.

There are a fair number of players still doing these too, especially the weekly and monthly ones.

As the game is optimised "out of the box" for controller, I am able to switch cars each day without any difficulties. If this was PC2, I'd have to spend ages each day trying to get used to a different car.

The daily, weekly, monthly rivals setup is very similar to how they worked on Dirt Rally. Although I used to avoid the RWD cars in Dirt Rally because I struggled to drive them (lead trigger finger problem) - so far I've not found ANY cars in PC3 I couldn't drive.

The physics in PC3 is very forgiving which makes it very easy to drive pretty much any car

Yesterday's run in the Bugatti at Sonoma was a trickier one for me.

I've noticed there is a 95% off car in the showroom every day, so by the time the Rivals finish when it goes offline, and I start to play the career mode I should have quite a few cars stacked up for it.

I didn't realize they had cars 95% off. Yesterday I bought R8 even though I already had one. I changed the livery to the 2nd car from that year

Yeah I have 18 different cars now thanks to the discount. Ran a few career races today to get some credits in hand as even at 95% off the racecars are nearly 20k each.

I skipped yesterday's "Halloween Horror" 3 lap average time on the Nordschleife... the chance of me getting 3 clean laps was 0.000001%

Today's daily is the Ford GT at Willow Springs...
When you're still playing GT7 when you're not playing it...

Not noticed any repeated events yet, it's a long rotation cycle on the dailies 👍 There are a few cars that have been used twice, but not on the same track. Today was the first one in the Ford GT since i started in early September.

The Rivals points are bugged - the guide on TrueAchievements for the "300 points" achievement told me that the game cannot be closed, must be left on quick resume, and the Xbox has to be on Standby settings, not on Power off, otherwise the points total resets.

I have 24 cars now via the 95% daily discount, out of about 200 total. Hoping that discount doesn't disappear when it goes offline!

Yeah I have been getting some cars I didn't have before and some dupes that can switch up the liveries on

At least it’s free delivery

That's pretty expensive for a game that didn't sell well  Also are they still having the deep discounts at the showroom in the game?

Yes, still having daily 95% off offers. Today was the Bentley Speed 8 which was a dupe so I didn't buy it.

I checked it out on a price comparison site just out of curiosity. The cheapest offer was still a hefty 48 Euros.

I junped on this morning and grabbed the NSX not realizing I already had 4 others. I so changed the livery to one remaining team livery I wasn't using.

That's why I am keeping a written list  Needs a site like Kudosprime for something like that to be easier.

What's funny is I normally check before I buy the discounted cars. But I was in a hurry this morning try to get some driving before going to work and I didn't check until after the fact.

Finally, something new in the showroom sale, a nice Zonda Cinque 👍
And a fun daily in the classic BMW at Cadwell Park.

I am desperately trying to get up to 300 points to unlock the secomd Rivals achievement but the game is glitchy as hell.
1. The game has to be left in Quick Resume OUTSIDE of rivals (I leave it in Settings menu) - if you close the game it resets Rivals total.
2. The sound completely disappears after a few days in Quick Resume.
3. The game can crash randomly when restarting from Quick Resume.

I have been up to 270 points total 4 TIMES and have it crash on me and reset to 70 points...! :(

Didn't know Cinque is on sale. Not sure if one or a few. Hopefully I can grab one today

Woo hoo! I made it to 372 points and got the achievement.
Not been anything new in the Showroom sale for a while.

:irked: I guess my save is one of the nerfed ones. I get gold 2 or 3 times per week. I haven't got the 10 rivals or the 300 points achievements. Maybe I need to delete my game and start again.

Yeah, I've seen users say they've got achievements after resetting their save.

For me, I used the "Your Uncle Stan" method (see below from the TrueAchievements thread) for 300 points. I had the game crash and reset the points 3 times. On the 4th go, I got to 300 and the achievement popped.
