After jumping through several servers I found some nice weapon m16+granade, ammo, but I have no food and a blinking food meter :(

First server nearly no zeds, but no loot at all, just some random ammo, second server swarmed by zeds, third server 2 different guns firing, 4th was ok but blood hell he is hungry
 
I got killed by some zombies after I found a Czech backpack. Was taking a risk by running across a street to a building. Wanted to run inside but noticed to late that the gate was a non-functional model.
I was only taking the risk because I still needed matches for my survival pack.

Oh well, a fresh start tomorrow.
 
^Lol, when you are alone it gets messy so quickly. I have everything, alice pack(20), map, watch, compass, matches, knife, military fl, but no food. :lol:

Now all my hope relies on the server getting patched before the squad head for the Airstrip
 
Can't join at the moment since the server is on 1.7.2 and six updater automatically updated me to 1.7.2.2

Tried rolling back but no success. I guess i'll just wait until it updates. Tonight hopefully.

There's only 5 people in the server right now - all from this forum :D
 
Just a quick question, how are you able to meet up with other people in DayZ?
 
That sucks Ibo, what did you find?

Anyone finding that setting a map marker/coordinate does not work? I don't see the direction/distance indication.

Found the m16 you had before :( and a glock

Finally we have no fever anymore 36C now :lol:, my walking dead infected theory wasn't true after all :lol:

Ok all the server is being updated now to 1.7.2.3 and Beta 94876 - will be bringing it online in a few minutes.

NOTE: Some are having trouble connecting with the newest B94945. If you have installed this arma2 beta patch already, you can roll back by deleting your arma2 operation arrowhead\expansions\beta folder and then install the 94876 patch.

How do you actually pick up backpacks? I noticed a couple in some buildings yesterday but dismissed them as I thought you could only loot from them and the ones I saw had nothing in them.
 
Use mouse scroll and select.

About today's session:

Lost my mic - probably from switching my settings from 'hotkey' to 'voice activation' (alt-tabbing). Wasn't using TS3 overlay.

Also took a phone call while we were under fire from the guy on the roof. Sorry guys :( I have your weapons Jaime! I'll drop them off at the northern camp a little later.
 
So, finally able to join the server again. Nice.

But got lost because I forgot I had a compass. So I lost about half an hour.

Luckly, didn't meet other players through the crossing of the map.

Now joined up with the squad.

Lost a lot of people today it seems. Tomorrow evening I will be back on.
 
Sorry guys for blowing it on the overwatch... have a much better plan in mind next time we hit berenzino to make sure that roof is covered entirely for the ghosters/hoppers. I cleared each section that I could see but from that angle it was pretty hard and when we repositioned we lost sight of the top of roof. Never again :)

We have most of the loot in the tents for you when you get there. Hope to be on later tonight.

Make sure you clear all items in the same pile as bag (i.e. pick em up and drop em off to the side) then you should get the scrollwheel "pick up" option. Same goes for medical boxes.
 
I think it could've been a little better if my mic didnt act up. It was pretty clumsy moving about and pressing a hotkey to talk, so i tried changing the settings - my mistake.

Anyway, I had a couple of clear shots initially when michael and newt was still alive. Unfortunately my character was shaking from the blood loss/broken bones. Newt gave me morphine afterwards. Saw Michael get shot while he was heading down the stairs - those cheeky bast*rds. Diconnecting/Server hopping really ruins the experience. :/

We should definitely bring some grenades/smokes next time.
 
We have enough sniper rifles atm for at least 3 of us to be on overwatch. If anything next time we can have people on 3 sides instead of two but either way from what I saw you guys handled it pretty well considering the facts. Wish I could have been online to help.
Gonna be off the server for about an hour gonna get some food and let people use my computer lol but I am still in chat and just message me when more people get online. I will hope back on when I can.

Going to be in the Armory practicing with the CZ till someone finally comes in to use my pc.

EDIT: Did a quick solo run to store Jaime's gear. Found medical supplies and a tent on my way. Pitched the tent and was surprised that i still had it in my inventory... then as i was trying to pitch/glitch another one, i was gunned down. I knew it was one of us - Tastey!

I wasn't on TS3 so my fault. I server hopped to the camp btw. Only planned to be on for 15 minutes.

'bout the tents. I think if you pitch a tent right next to another (slighlty overlapping), you won't lose your tent (the one you just pitched). Anyway, Tastey should have the extra tent - try overlapping it beside the two tents underneath the 2 trees. If not, ill do it tomorrow.

Off for now. Got externship tomorrow for 12 hours. ugh :grumpy:

I saw someone at the site as soon as I was logging in. Sometimes while I am at one of the beginning screens I can see the area I am at and if there was or is someone there I can see them before it goes to loading. I saw you right in front of me. I always hide in the trees just in case for that very reason of someone being there. lol I shot you right in the head.

I honestly don't want to glitch any items in the game. On accident is one thing but especially when the server message says no glitching lol I really don't want to do something that would be bad for the server as well as the clan. Also if we have too many tents in one area it will be more noticeable so. Killerbeavis has the tent and I put the gear from you into the tents. Most of our tents our full so be careful and anyone who gets on please try and get more food for the area :)

I will be on and off through out the week not as much as I was on the past two days but anytime I am on feel free to join or ask for help.

Yeah, that's why i hid the tent under the tree. I was actually surprised it pitched there. I think 4 tents would be enough. The lonely tent beside the one tree is pretty noticeable coming from the east (correct me if im wrong). Still, that site is pretty sweet. Just slightly out of the traffic lanes. Anybody found bear traps yet? :D

Edit: oh yeah, since i died - the tent will degrade and disappear in 7 days, wont it?
 
We might actually start up an east camp. Killerbeavis had a good idea for a spot so we might set that up next time we get on or well whenever he gets on at least.

Bear traps are very rare so not yet but I will keep looking.

Lol Killer and I where ready to give Walker your info so he could ban whoever was glitching before I saw your post.

Yes but you said you where going to keep glitching and I thought it was some random guy who wasn't playing with us that much. We were both like...its nice he wanted to help but I don't like the glitching lol.

I am pretty sure as long as we keep using it they will stay up.
 
Might as well clarify... I won't judge. My biggest problem is with combat d/c, hacking, item duping and server teleporting which I won't tolerate at all on the server, and hope to have some automated tools working soon to auto ban these actions. Tent duping is a gray area but since we're discussing my vote is that we don't do this either. Accidental glitching gonna happen, and incidental glitching like ammo refills on login (which actually sometimes works the other-way and removes mags now) are not something we have control over so I am fine with that as server admin.
 
If that one tent is a bit to noticeable, we should take it down. :P

Thanks for dropping the items there, Stiggie. I hope I can make it to the campsite in one piece.
 
I found a bus at the Solnichniy gas station that I think can be fixed. I just spawned, so can't do anything with it.

edit: lol, dead again, for the first time by another player. Didn't find anything yet anyway.
