Is there anyone else in the uk that can be bothered to get the extra pre-order bonus from game?? (superteams pack)

Apparently you unlock longer stages later on.
Not sure how much longer or at what stage though. Sure it's a disappointment but I'll get it regardless.

They said that they loved the game, it's getting better and better as they play, and that it's really fun and very challenging at times. Yeah, they also said that the stages do get longer, but I doubt by much. Hopefully it won't look too bad on the PS3, it looks good on the X-Box. Going by that, I may have to check it out. They seem to love it.

There may be a bit of an issue with a release day online session. To enable online play on Dirt 3 (and get some bonus cars) you need to enter a single use redeem code you get with the game but the PS store is down so you can't enter the code :grumpy: Also it looks like the code will be linked to a PSN account rather than the PS3 so you'll need to choose which one you'll be using, I'll probably use my main non-GT account.

Words cannot describe how jealous I am of you right now... I know I'll have to wait 'till the proper release date to pick my copy up :grumpy:.
 
It is challenging with a wheel...
Way harder than Dirt 2 I think.
Went straight in with no assists, stock wheel settings, manual gears, difficulty on 4.
This is good :D

I'l need to peel myself off of this in a bit to do some revision for Physics. :(

daan has no say in the matter.
Jordan is the only one that can create new sub-fora I believe.
 
True, Jordan (and the admins) are the only one with that power. If daan did not respond to you, it's probably because he passed the message on to a higher power.

Just unlocked the Gymkana Academy, looks decent.
Already had a play around in one of the areas and it was a good laugh.

Damn you! :p I pre-ordered it from GAME. I might get it on Monday, but most probably Tuesday. Really can't wait to play it.

Gymkhana is so addictive btw!
Just spent half an hour in Battersea car park trying to do all the little challenges.
Got all but the 180 degree jump one. :ouch:
 
Got my copy as well.

Have to say this is a very nice looking game, really entertaining, fast and fluid.
The FFB is very good and detailed too but even at 100% I dont think it uses the wheels full power. Id like the weight of the wheel to be a little heavier than the max settings allow.

Any one got problems with DiRT3 and G25 mine refuses to pick it up

Right, I thought the same with my G27. You need to turn off your DS3, it will then tell you to press start on the G25.

Spent about 40 minutes on it today, mostly trying to set up wheel. Felt pretty good, visuals are really good.

Speaking of which, anyone know of any G27 settings or somewhere that explains it to me? Trial and error is okay, but it relies on knowing what you need to do!
 
Wow you guys got it early, its officially released here on Thursday damn it :(.
