I'll be honest that I smoke ciggarettes. Even though they are nasty and bad for me, but I plan to quit soon. Hopefully a week or so after school starts up again.

I'm going to quit as soon as I can. Probally soon after school starts up again. I know that it makes me smell bad, but I can't really get away from smelling like smoke because my parents smoke so no matter what my house always smells bad.

I tried it. I didn't really like it so I stayed away. Although I did have a Cigar with my uncle out in Cali. Just for kicks though.

Your not missing anything on Cigs. Cigars taste alright though. Not going to make a habit.

yup....i knew that Vat Man will come into the conversation.......he's hate for cig's and all

...and with good reason! Note I didn't get on my high horse, though.

I haven't. And I never will. I don't want to **** up my life by possibly getting cancer..And the prices of them, That's a helluva lot of money down the drain.

I have never ever smoked....

The things I smoke are other motorists in my 323, people on my bike, and everyone at hybridding GT3.

My dad's parents smoked, he quit a long time ago, but she didn't, and in '93 we were at thier house with other relitives for a party, and she fianted and had to go to the hospital...that's when she quit. Now, no one in my family smokes, and I tend to keep it that way.

But I have to laugh at smokers...I see them eating fruits and healthy stuff like that's gonna offset the bad effects of smoking...also saw a guy in a Sebring throw a sig out the window, and it landed on the convertable top(he had it up) and as we are watching it burns through it and goes back in the car lol...we got away from him...probably caught the thing on fire.

Used to smoke years ago.
Quit now. You will be suprised when you are able to taste your food again.
I know it will be hard with your folks smoking.
If they don't know you smoke, Go in and bum one and smoke with them.
That may be the catalyst to jar them enough to quit.
Then quitting can be a family affair. and you can support each other.

I dont smoke but my girl does. Shes not a heavy smoker but she still smokes and i hate that. I want her to stop but theres no way for me to make her stop. Thats something she has to do on her own.

My wife smoked before we started dating. Told her that if she wanted anything out of this relationship, she'd have to quit. I smoked before graduating from high school. Yes when I was in high school, there was a smoking area.

Now I'll have the occasional cigar with friends. Can only have an occasional one as the only ones I smoke tend to be around $10 a pop.

It's rough quitting, but it will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Boom, working in a restaurant with the long hours, I can see the stress. Plus when the diner sends his steak back for the second time, you can flip a few ashes on it to show how well done it is...!
