In the last week or so, the mysterious You Tube account holder “mimaximax” has been posting multiple videos of the 2010 CES GT5 demo. Curious about who is was and how he is getting this footage, I sent him an email yesterday and this was his response.

I’m just a big automotive fan, I owe my dad and Gran Turismo for that. I’m not working for Polyphony or Sony, I just got enough luck to get my hands on that Las Vegas CES 2010 demo. So I’m providing as much footage as I can to people. A bit like a report or demo walktrough. This demo seems to be an early build but no clue will remain uncovered.
Sounds like he had a connection with someone that was at CES this year.. Maybe “Dad” ?
He’s a fan of our show Inside Sim Racing and says he believes a lot of the cars in this demo are worthy of our Top Sim Car list. We’ll definitely be covering Gran Turismo 5 and look forward to seeing how a car from that title holds up on our scale. Will it top the list ? Maybe GT5, will make our overall list as Top Sim of all time.. Time will tell..
We’ll be at E3 covering anything Sony has on display regarding GT5, we’re also hoping to interview someone from Polyphony. Feel free to post questions here for Polyphony to give us some ideas in case we do land that interview.
