Raw is just.....bad. Really bad. I feel sorry for the Raw wrestlers though. Whoever is doing the storylines in SD, Raw should borrow them for a while until they find quality storyline directors who can save Raw plus this is for both brands but they seriously need talent. They may need to call up NXT wrestlers and raid once more.

Also.....

I highly doubt Omega will come to WWE but considering the same thing happened to AJ Styles last year, I'm now going 50/50 for Omega as a surprise entrant in RR.

You are a bit behind on Kenny Omega. He had made a statement after WK11 saying he needed to rethink his options, only to come out later and say that he had to rethink his gameplan for winning the NJPW Heavyweight belt. Cena's post came in between those when people were wondering if he was WWE bound.

And your new United States Champions, Chris Jericho! I'm just hoping this doesn't mean Reigns is beating Owens for the Universal Championship as I'm a bit of an Owens Mark

Oh.

Cena's IG account is very cryptic. Without any explanation/captions (that's what his IG bio says), it's hard to tell what Cena is talking about whenever he posts a photo. Some are funny photoshopped photos and some are cryptic (eg AJ Styles photo which led to his RR '16 debut, etc.).

Drink it in maan! Congrats to Jericho winning the US title. I guess Jericho at this time has done everything in the WWE. He became the first Undisputed Champion, held the most IC title reigns, tag team champion with notable wrestlers (Chris Benoit, The Rock, Christian, Edge, and Big Show), and now he's gonna enjoy his first ever US title reign.

Raw was a mixed bag for me, the Shawn Michaels seg was terrible but loved when he hit Rusev with sweet chin music, Undertaker entering the Rumble was a surprise but i get the feeling that they are putting some big stars in that match to sell out the massive Alamodome, Jericho winning the US title was not a surprise to me but the fact that Roman got a proper beat down really did surprise me, also there was an in ring seg after the show between Taker, Jericho and Owens.

Tag team titles on the line on SD tonight plus Cena v Corbin.

A perfect tag line for this show

If you don't like it, don't watch it.
I really hate this argument, used way too many times to cheaply shut down a negative point of view.

It's more than the fact of liking and not liking it, reason why wrestling fans complain about Raw right now is because they care about the product. If @GTFan24 didn't care about Raw or wrestling in general than I don't think he would complain and actually wouldn't pay attention.

We're all wrestling fans here, we all care about the product, especially since most peoples first wrestling show is WWE Raw, we all want it to improve because we know it can be better by how Smackdown and NXT have been running.

There must be something different backstage for Smackdown, I did hear that Shane was actually legitimately in charge of Smackdown. How true that is however I don't know.

It's a very valid argument. If you are going to incessantly 🤬 about something, and go on about how it is constantly disappointing you, why continue to watch it? There is another alternative the very next day in Smackdown. I get being a fan and being loyal to the brand, but when you constantly complain about it, why continue watching it? If it's that bad, take a break and come back to it another time in order to reevaluate it. Just like you would hopefully do with a TV show.

There's caring and constructively giving criticism, then there's just complaining. And that's all I saw. I didn't see him give any constructive criticism whatsoever.

I do agree with his sentiment, Raw is absolutely horrible, but it's as a result of poor storylines, under utilising wrestlers, over exposing some wrestlers and most of all, the constant push of Reigns irrespective of the damage it's doing to the company. I no longer watch Raw, I just can't sit through 3 hours of Reigns so instead of punishing myself further, I stopped watching Raw, and only watch Smackdown.

I believe Ryan Ward is in charge of creative there, but it wouldn't surprise me if Shane had some say in things that happen.

According to Dave Meltzer, Vince Mcmahon is in charge of both shows.

However saying that, both Raw and Smackdowns do have different writing teams. This was confirmed when they announced Smackdown was going live. Raw might need to get some of that Smackdown writing team stuff,

Like I said, because you care about the product or even the industry as a whole and WWE is leading organization of the industry. I would question someones continue to watching if they stopped caring but I think we all do.

Like what I said above and it's not like people who complain about Raw not watch Smackdown, they're not in the same timeslot.

That picture is likely a joke, I don't remember jokes having to have significant and thoughtful meaning behind it.

I'm talking about all this;
THEY BRING HIM BACK FOR THIS ****?! GOD I 🤬 HATE THIS 🤬 SHOW!! :banghead:

It got worse.... Shawn Michaels just dabbed with TJ Perkins.

🤬🤬🤬🤬!!!

That was the worst segment i have ever seen

It is so bad, yet for some stupid ****ing reason What culture will find some ups on it

Very constructive I think you'll agree. If he cares so much about the brand like you say he is, he'd constructively criticize it and not go on a sweary rampage about a show that is optional to watch.

Caring =/= Constructive Criticism. You can have one without the other.

I don't see anything wrong in what he's doing, he's posting in line with AUP and from those posts I assume he was posting as he was watching, emotion does go first before anything constructive.

Yes. It's so good, I'm not looking at kitchen utensils wondering what I can use them in ways that they are not intended.

I'll keep up with it through WhatCulture, I can't watch this drivel anymore. It's like Sharknado, and it's killing what I once knew. The American Alpha-Wyatt Family match was weak, I don't think anyone actually broke a sweat, and the face-off afterward was just for effect, but it had no effect. And the backstage segments...they've only been good when there's actual action, other than that I hate them and always have.

And yes, I'll gladly admit I've been spoiled by New Japan, but I get far more entertainment from them than WWE. Wrestle Kingdom XI is getting aired at least partially Friday on AXS, that should give me my fix.

I disagree, granted I'm more into wrestling for the story than the spots, I think the match was good in a way to carry out the feud while American Alpha can get ready to move on to something else (maybe back to the Usos since they have unfinished business)

Three of those should have been in before this year.

Seriously when is Vader getting in. Dude practically was handed a death sentence this year and still not putting him in.

So Smackdown then, out of the last few weeks this was probably the weakest episode but still better than Raw right now, highlight for me was Ziggler, forgot what a good heel he was! Great segment, the tag title match was really good up till the lousy finish, the main event between Cena and Corbin was nothing to shout about and the Nikki/Natalya storyline is pretty much a carbon copy of the Nikki/Carmella storyline.

More interested in next weeks Smackdown with the Steel Cage match. Even though knowing how these matches with this story, the "mysterious" and totally not Naomi luchadore will find a way to interfere.

Personally, I think this year or next.

About that rumored HOF induction list, where's Chyna? When are they giving her an HOF induction? You know many Attitude Era fans will be 🤬 if Chyna doesn't get into the HOF.

Her post-WWE career most likely locked the brakes on that. It shouldn't, but every hall has excuses to keep some out.

Its been reported that WWE will not push for Cena v Undertaker at this years Wrestlemaina and that it will likely be Reigns or Strowman facing him instead, Jesus Christ

Never am keen for Cena vs Undertaker, it does fit and would be great but I think it's too popular that it isn't going to be very surprising.

There will never be a better time to have that match because both of them are there right now and its seems unlikely that that will be the case this time next year, what's stopping WWE?!

Cena vs Undertaker would be a perfect time for Cena to turn heel. Have him cheat to beat Undertaker and he'll get monumental heat. The only way for us smarky smarks to actually boo him.

I do agree but it has always been a problem with me with matches people want, since it's been suggested so many times I just can't find it interesting.

What sparks my interest is stories and matches that not only make sense but also surprising and makes me think. It might sound impossible but WWE has done it before, this is why No Way Out 2009 is one of my favourite PPVs, how they used Edges character was brilliant and unexpected but it fits with his character.

Cena vs. Undertaker fits but since its wanted to death, I just don't see how it can be interesting without any swerve.
