Big news coming out of the UFC regarding Brock Lesnar, USADA has flagged him for a potential doping violation.

How is this going to affect Lesnar's return to WWE?

Odds are it won't. It's not even like he's there every week and if the way they keep pushing Roman when he's away is anything to go by, then he'll be better promoted as a drug-cheat than a world-beater.

A big week for the WWE this week with the first live Smackdown and the brand extension followed by Battleground this Sunday, and it started with the live event at the MSG last night, Cena v Styles was the main event and fans who witnessed it have said on social media the it was a brilliant match and Wrestlemaina quality.

Rules of the draft:

  1. RAW gets the first overall pick
  2. The number of picks that each side has is determined by show length. Since RAW is three hours, and SmackDown is two hours, RAW gets three picks for every two that SmackDown receives.
  3. Tag Teams will count as one pick, unless the show's Commissioner/General Manager specifically wants one member of the team
  4. Six draft picks will be made off the NXT roster.

The Draft starts Tonight on RAW as the Commissioners select their GM's, then the actual draft is on Tuesday.

Notice that the Wyatt Family is broken up and AJ Styles isn't listed with the Club. Also, Eve Marie is listed as being part of the main roster.

Anyone went to speculate who will be the NXT call ups will be?

I think, Finn Balor, Tye Dillinger, Bayley, Nia Jax, Austin Ares and No Way Jose.

It's this Tuesday. Six picks have to select superstars from NXT. They are scattered throughout the list.

They're not, WWE understands they'd kill the surprise by listing them, which is strange as it's almost like they're thinking about the TV product. Crazy huh?

Anyway, If I was drafting and I had three NXT picks (champs ineligible) then it'd be Aries, Roode and Bliss. Bring them in as a trio since Aries & Roode were great as the dirty heels and Bliss would be a great woman to put with them, since she's a good worker and valet.

EDIT: Can I also point out how stupid it is that the Outcasts and New Day are drafted as Trios but not The Club or Wyatts? I know people have already mentioned this, but if somebody was going to get the nWo rule surely it should've been Styles, Gallows & Anderson.

I had thought that Apollo Crews was still in NXT, but I guess I was wrong.

Anyways, we can already know (It is not really a big secret) that one of the six has to be Finn Balor because of Balor Club and all that.

Everyone is missing Nakamura, Itami and Samoa Joe. I could see them three being surprise additions.

I could see Itami, even if I'd want to test his shoulder out a bit first to make sure he won't end up injured again in 2 weeks. Think Joe and Nakamura will be left alone as they're the next Takeover Main Event. Best just to leave them with Hunter.

I'd like to see all the big names get the call. But it just won't happen because it would hurt the brand big time.

"Demon Kane" officially there then, notice no Undertaker which means next year he'll probably have his final freestyle trololollol through a brand of his choice to a WM match up.

I just looked again and saw both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar on the list. I swear, just take steroids and get caught, you'll get a bigger push than if you actually put on world class matches with great opponents.

Roman Reigns might return tonight, and Brock Lesnar wont be on the Draft show on Tuesday.

It's going to be interesting, that's for sure.

Rumour has it that they are reaching out to older wrestlers as well. Like Jimmy Want Yang and Tommy Dreamer.

Here's a question: Are the guys in CWC contacted to WWE only for the CWC. It'd be great to see Tajiri come back.

Yes, but I know that Kota Ibushi and Gran Metallik (Mascara Dorada) have already been signed to developmental deals following on from the CWC.

I love Tajiri too, but I saw him last year at Bound for Glory in Japan and he didn't look great. Age has caught up with him quite badly and my personal favourite move of his from the original ECW days, the Brainbuster, is pretty much a no-no now in WWE.

I believe there was a rumor that Steve Austin was going to be the GM of Raw

And the Raw GM is....

Mick Foley!

Talk about disappointing. I mean, I know that there weren't exactly many realistic propositions for who could do the GM job, but does anyone actually want to see this guy ever again? It's a shame, when the Cruiserweight division was announced I was impressed, but not blown away since it should've been the premier title on SmackDown, but this GM announcement sucks.

Cruiserweights! Yay!

I was expecting a Heel GM and a Face GM not 2 Faces -_-

But there is a face and heel commissioner.

Maybe if Mick and Steph have issues with each other it'll be interesting.

Mick and Steph......didn't they hate each other back in the Attitude Era days where Mick was the commissioner and always ruins Triple H's and Steph's plans?

Yes, but WWE treats their fan base like idiots and expects them not to remember things like this. It's funny really, they have that mentality but expect people to remember fat-ass Foley...

Foley was probably one of the best GM/Commissioner's of all time. So as a casual viewer, I think it's a good idea, and also lends itself to unpredictability. Something that wasn't going to happen if they chose Mr Dad Triple H, as that would have inevitably led to a Shane McMahon v Triple H match at Summerslam or later, or less possible, one last match for Bryan against Triple H, but that was not likely to happen given Bryan's concussions. But it would have been nice if it did. Only if Bryan went over though.

Also gotta say, surprised no one mentioned Sting (as a possible GM) as his HOF signing off quote definitely lent itself to a possible storyline later on.

I noticed that Mick lost a lot of weight. It certainly didn't help that he was still wearing baggy clothes.
