Teddy Long has taught Nick Aldis well
There was a tag team match between Andrade/Rey Fenix and Fraxiom.
There was an eight man tag team match between WYATT SICKS and four other random members of the tag team division.
There was a women's triple threat tag team match which Flair and Bliss won to qualify for the fatal four way at Evolution.
Then there was the tag team main event.

Cody Rhodes and Tiffy gave promos, I don't recall a singles match on the show!

Sad news that Hall of Famer, Teddy Long son, Antione Long has passed away.

Hope the best for him and his family.

That is sad news. I hope his family is doing okay. I know they are devastated about his death. Not good.

My thoughts are with the Long family.

Seth Rollins group (really badly needs a name!) had a good night on Raw and they beat the three babyfaces, Bron Breakker beat Sami Zayn but Karrion Kross softened Zayn up for Bron, Bronson Reed and Jey Uso went to a DQ after Reed threw a chair at Uso and he hit him with two Tsunami's after, Seth Rollins then beat Penta in the main event.

The Kabuki Warriors have reunited and are in the fatal four way tag title match at Evolution this Sunday, Sol Ruca and Zaria are the NXT team in the match. El Grande Americano had a match despite the fact that Chad Gable is out injured, it looks like Ludwig Kaiser wore the mask last night. No Pat McAfee last night as Corey Graves filled in once again, that's five weeks that Pat has missed now.

Someone broke into Seth and Becky's California house while they were at RAW.

WWE have a big weekend in Atlanta. NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night's Main Event are both on Saturday with Evolution taking place on Sunday. AEW's All In is also on Sunday. I'll post the cards for the WWE shows tomorrow, I don't watch AEW as its not as available in the UK as WWE is.

Solo Sikoa v Jimmy Uso for the US title has been made for SNME.

John Cena is filming a Netflix movie so don't expect to see much of him in the Summerslam build up, he only has one scheduled Smackdown appearance before then.

Speaking of SummerSlam
there's a rumor going around WWE is running Logan Paul v.s Jelly Roll then

Canadian Lol GIF

Becky Lynch (c) v Lyra Valkryia v Bayley

Women's World Championship.
IYO Sky (c) v Rhea Ripley

I was wondering if there would be only 3 matches for Main Event. The Gunther/Goldberg match would've been pretty long, and I don't know if Bill can do a lengthy match.

I don't see the Gunther/Goldberg match going long at all, I think it'll be 10 minutes max.

One thing about the SNME show is they are filled up commercials, and i mean filled!! We will be lucky to get an hour of in ring action in a two hour show and I'm not joking, The one thing I've learned to do is to not watch it live and watch the YouTube stream of it on Sunday, someone will post timestamps in the comments of when they come back from the breaks, those people are absolute heroes!

Drew McIntyre mustve really pissed off someone in power when he said the best way to get over is to change your name to Fatu.

WYATT SICKS are the new WWE tag team champions, they beat the Street Profits whose reign lasted for 119 days, it was Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy who won the belts and am I right in thinking its their first titles in WWE? Or did Lumis win the North American title in NXT?

As for the Jelly Roll stuff, well it was okay but I don't like the fact that Orton and McIntyre are involved, Jelly Roll win be in Orton's corner for his match with Drew tonight.

So I completely misread All Ins date and is going on right now and not with Evolution.

And in fact I'm so wrong the run time might be extending into Saturdays Night Main Event if it keeps going the way it is

Just seen SNME, which again was adverts with the occasional wrestling match.

Starting with the Seth Rollins injury, it is legitimate and what happened in the match was real, Rollins was originally meant to beat LA Knight but the ref had to call an audible at the last minute when he tweaked his knee, Seth has a history of knee troubles and has had surgery in the past, we don't know the extent of the injury right now but I bet we will know more in the coming days, lets see what happens on Raw.

As for the rest of the show, I'm actually liking the Jelly Roll stuff so far! He took the Claymore like a champ and he looks good after his weight loss, that tag match at Summerslam should be interesting, I thought the Solo and Jimmy match was a bit meh with a typical distraction type finish, Jacob Fatu returned though.

I enjoyed the Gunther-Goldberg match and it was better than I expected, I liked the build up throughout the night and it made it feel like a big deal, I didn't like the fact that they cut his speech off at the end though.

I'll watch Evolution live tonight, I'll catch up with NXT GAB this week.

WWE really messed up the marketing for Evolution 2. The women put on a really good performance and was a fun show but a lot felt missing and it wasn't the womens fault but whoever was writing the storylines in the last minute.

Really the only problem with the show is the build was severly lacking and matches were made in the last minute without much intrigue to go and watch. Even Naomi vs. Jade Cargill with Bianca as the ref had potential to have more emotional weight if they actually built to the match and not have Bianca be the ref the night before.

Naomi is the new women's world champion, she cashed in her MITB contract during the main event between IYO and Rhea and she looked a bit battered and bloodied from her no holds barred match with Jade Cargill earlier in the night which Jade won, IYO and Rhea were having a fantastic match and it was easily match of the night, IYO's title reign lasted for 132 days.

It was the only title change last night and it was a good show but like Com Fox said it was let down somewhat by the rushed booking and build up. The triple threat for the IC title was a great opener, Stephanie Vaquer predictably won the battle royal and now has a title match at Clash In Paris in September, the rest of the show was okay and it felt like Trish Stratus had her last match after she said goodbye after.

Triple H gave an update on Seth Rollins during the post show, he said that Seth was backstage supporting Becky last night (reportedly wearing a brace and using crutches) he said that he needs an MRI and then we will know more but it doesn't look good, WWE have already set up a gauntlet match on Raw tonight to determine Gunther's world title challenger for Summerslam. Taking part are CM Punk, LA Knight, Penta, Bron Breakker and Jey Uso.

Well, Rollins still has a whole year to cash in his case... I'm sure they can work around this somehow if he can't compete much.

Would be a sick return moment to cash in (if the injury isn't until the next Money in the Bank).

However they might pull a Mr. Kennedy and have Rollins lose the briefcase and guy he loses too will cash in when the original holder was meant to.

Raw was all about Summerslam last night with a few matches made for it.

Lyra Valkryia beat Bayley in a 2 out of 3 falls match to face Becky Lynch for the women's IC title, CM Punk won the gauntlet match to face Gunther for the world title, Bron Breakker was the strong man of the match and he lasted the entire thing and was in the match for over 40 minutes, he went through Penta and LA Knight on his own but had Bronson Reed's help to beat Jey Uso, Punk was last in and managed to beat Breakker but I don't remember how because of what happened after, Breakker and Reed where beating down Uso and Punk until Roman Reigns returned to make the save.

A triple threat match for the women's world title has been made for SS with Naomi defending against Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky, Nikki Bella beat Chelsea Green in her first singles match in seven years but the finish was a bit off. Rodriquez and Perez beat the Kabuki Warriors in a non title tag match.

No Pat McAfee again and also no Seth Rollins and there wasn't much talk about him.

Punk/Gunther and the women's triple threat should be good. I may actually watch some of Summerslam.

I've caught up with the NXT stuff, Great American Bash this past Saturday and NXT from last night.

Interesting match at TNA Slammiversary this weekend with TNA women's champion Masha Slamovich and NXT women's Jacy Jayne having a title for title match, I wonder what will happen there. Also Trick Williams putting his TNA title on the line in a triple threat v Joe Hendry and Mike Santana.

Goldberg has said in an interview that he was pissed off at how he went out at SNME this past weekend, I don't blame him considering his farewell speech got cut.

Solo Sikoa will defend his US title against Jacob Fatu in a steel cage match at Summerslam, Rodriguez and Perez will defend their women's tag titles against Bliss and Flair, the WWE title match between Cena and Rhodes is now a street fight. The build up and booking has been a lot better than for the previous two events, eight matches made so far for the two night show with two weeks still to go.

There was an ongoing story involving Solo's MFT and Jacob Fatu last night which saw them involved in a 'car accident' at the start of the show, They pinned the blame on Jacob at first and he got questioned by police but after they reviewed the footage it was Solo who got arrested and led away in hand cuffs, the whole thing took around 90 minutes which is one quick police investigation! It was stupid but good fun.

Kevin Owens underwent successful neck surgery on Friday.

On Raw tonight.

Roman Reigns appearance.
CM Punk appearance.
Sami Zayn v Karrion Kross
New Day v LWO v Creed Bros-tag title number one contenders match.
Becky Lynch/Lyra Valkryia segment.
Sheamus v Rusev

It was TNA Slammiversary last night, NXT's Trick Williams had a successful TNA title defense against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana, Jacy Jayne beat Masha Slamovich in the title for title match and she is now TNA Knockouts champion as well as NXT women's champion. It means that NXT talent hold the two biggest belts in TNA.

AJ Styles made his anticipated TNA return when he embraced the new X-Division champ Leon Slater, it was his first TNA appearance in nine years and they used his old theme music.

And TNA wasted no time in getting this up on their official channel, as expected.

Now, about that "one more match"...

Dominik Mysterio v AJ Styles for the intercontinental title has been made for Summerslam, the women's Intercontinental title match between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria is now no DQ and no count out and if Lyra loses she can't challenge for the title again.

The Roman Reigns main event segment was really good and he had a good verbal exchange with Paul Heyman, he crowd wnet nuts for Roman and he was smiling whilst they was chanting his name, you can tell he is loving his babyface run so far.

The rest of the show was pretty average, a lot of distraction and interference based finishes to the matches last night.
