In japan, its actually thought of as pretty to have a crooked tooth or two. They dont bother getting braces because they think the look good without them. That goes for the women, as for men I am not sure. He could do with a little makeover I think.

I have a Friend who looks Asian....but he is Mexican(not adopted) and his name is Jose. I dont call him Jose, I call him "Chino" wich means "Chinese" in Spanish. I dont know why he looks so asian. But he had braces before. I'm getting the goosebumps just thinking about it.

Really? I was not aware of this and I live here. There is an over abundance of dentists here in Japan. It's the one profession that has increased in numbers in the last couple of decades. So what if he has crooked teeth?

I am honestly more surprised at the lack of leg braces and the amount of people how walk with limps, canes, etc. Japan is not very wheelchair friendly...

Yeah, my parents are studying Japanese and are Studying teaching to move to Japan. They have alot of Japanese friends and they told us. One friend wanted to get braces and because she lived here it didnt matter as much if she got them. If she still lived in Japan she would have kept them like they were.
