sadly, even EAs conference was more interesting. Sony just big talked there numbers and said some crap about Home followed by "Hey new model! same function, drive our sales up!"

The thing is tho, we made these assumptions, nothing was ever mentioned and confirmed, and i think they capitalized on it, let the rumors flow get all these people that couldnt care less about karaoke on psp and get them to watch.

In the conference they UTTERED GT5, that's all, and those pics of the booths, why were they all in Japanese if they are in Germany?

I mean, obviously I missed it somewhere because all these people who are surprised, depressed, disappointed, angry and upset wouldn't get like that from creating something from their own imagination and hyping it up for no reason whatsoever only to then have their hopes dashed. Would they.

This kind of makes me feel like PD doesn't care about us - irrational, yes - but is it really? They had to know the hype generated around GT5 fans and the GamesCom - but they did nothing.

TGS better be the end-all, beat-all of GT5 related events - and I mean they better have a complete and total unveiling of the game.

It's just the news [from this site] from 2 weeks ago stating that "we will like GT5's release date" and "insider information concerning GamesCom" that has us depressed - and our hopes dashed.

Come to think of it though, I don't recall any statement from Sony saying GT5 would be at GamesCom at all. But again it's obviously me that's missed it rather than people making things up and getting angry because of it.

It does make sence tough, Sony probably wants to hype portable Gran Turismo. GT5 doesn't really need any PR for it to be huge.
