"Poor" US. Other than the very few and far between global releases, there have been very, very few games that have released in the UK or the EU before the US. Its been a problem in the games industry for a long time, and I would particularly feel bad for the Aussies who have some dreadful release date waits and pay ridiculous prices.
The reason is pretty much supply and importation. Its easier to import the stock into the US than the EU (particularly the UK) - or at least that has been the best answer I've ever read from a developer/publisher.

Quick question though: Those games you pulled from Wikipedia, were those the games I was referring when I said "Something finally releases in the US first and then [insert country here; for the sake of this spat let's stick with the UK]", or for that matter did you even know which context I was speaking of? Now, actually on topic...with the release so close I wonder how soon we'll be seeing footage of the game in action. I know Team VVV has some stuff (or supposedly) coming up on Youtube but whether or not it'll make it up before some of us already have it for ourselves is up in the air as far as I know?

I'd even enjoy news about the frame rate issues - just tried some hot laps in Monaco today and everything worked pretty good until I came around the chicane in the harbour area. 10 FPS...for the lolz. :/

I agree. I'm a huge F1 fan , but F12010 was a let down in my opinion. Game was left buggy , in online you would make contact with a car despite being a good 2 metres away. And the handling was split in the middle between arcade & realism.....

If this isn't an F1 " Simulator " , ( which I doubt it will be as it's clearly being mass overhyped ..... again ) then I will not part with my cash.

I hope i'm wrong though.

Well, there was Catalunya qauli...but it was due to Vettel's KERS not functioning. Still counts though, right?

Probably the same things the other reviewers took marks off for - the steep learning curve, the "sterile" career mode and the way it's not a massive leap forwards from F1 2010.
