imho, if the GT2 was 300, this definitely looks like 350mm. my 2 cents....

Look @ the base compared to the wheel......

I don't know I am guessing.. if I was Thomas I would class Latte as a great candidate for beta testing so why shouldn't he.. plus he's been involved in previous tests and he mentioned someone on this.forum has one

Well I guess yes I have been very fortunate but I cannot confirm or deny anything.
Lets just say GTP is covered for the wheel and both rims.

It is interesting reading you guys estimating the rim size though.
How much do you think the rims weigh, remember what I was going on about recently?

Hahaha, I like this atmosphere. Who of us is the lucky one. :P
Only a select few here know I suppose.

That BMW rim looks delicious. I just hope I can drift with it. Ghehe :dopey:

I know simrafer and Logiforce will get one... Weather or not I'll get one I am hoping but I will buy one if I don't..

That really looks professional and by that I mean that I can't possibly see myself using it with GT5 (as in only GT5), it'd be like buying a Zonda R and never taking it to a race track.
Just my opinion.

To put it short:
Buying a CSW just for GT5 would be an overkill.

Well, the ones who want one get one eventually if they really do I suppose. It's just a matter of giving Thomas money after release so he can pay for the materials and staff plus cover R&D. He might want a profit too I reckon so he can bring us even better stuff at a later date. ;)

I can't wait to see everyone drooling over one after the reviews are out. Although please keep a towel at hand. It is mandatory as stated in the hitchhikers guide.
I suppose the CSW has been made by the rule of 42 as well. lol

I cant test to confirm as I'm at work but I read this on the official Forza Forum where a thread is running about todays patch:

"CONFIRMED. The "Simulation Steering" bug is fixed!!! 900° wheel users REJOICE!!!!!

Vehicles now drive much more realistically (Imo). Game feels 10x better!!!

Thank you Turn10!!! I can finally start playing Forza!!!

Idk about the points bug. I'm guessing it was also fixed.

Anyways, back to the track!"

I'll test when I get home to see for myself.

by this 900 degree thing you are talking about the ridiculous counter steer bug right?

Yes. Phil T who posts on here had this to say on a different forum.

I've had a good 30 minute session looking at the Patch

1. 900 Degree Steering is perfect, 1:1, no speed sensitivity, perfectly linear, and no issues at all, it's flippin savage though!

2. 270 Degree steering is the same as before, speed sensitive steering/non linearity etc. At first I was a little dismayed, I hoped they'd clean it up a bit (telemetry wobbles a lot). Lukcily I found switching to a pre-set with 900 degree SENS, then back to a pre-set with 270 gives you all the benefits of the 900 Degree perfectness!!!
- The result? Undriveable.. there is a reason cars don't have 270 degree steering, it's so twitchy, and so stupidly quick steering, it's just useless.. I can see why T10 have speed sensitive stuff in there, it is how it should be IMO, and all I can say is other games that allow you to remotely have a driveable car are adding in similar stuff, 1:1 perfect steering at 270 degrees is just not feasible, you need linearity and other things to make it usable.

3. The LSB/RSB buttons on the PWTS still aren't mapped to look left/right ala FM3..

4. Speedwheel Rumble seems better!

Just checking out the speed wheel now...

The 900 fix in Forza is really nice.
What average lock do LMP cars have IRL?

I dial down the 900 in the fast LMPs

I think F1 cars run around 360/410.

F1 is literally 360 max i think....

LMP's I imagine are similar but not 100% on that.

Yes them cars are silly at 900 degs.
Cheers for on wheel programming.

Dude the images I've had in my head the last 1/2 hour kept making me laugh in my meeting. Enough so that i had to come back and let you know.

Glad to know the meeting was easier to endure this time around. ;)

From what I know it is 270 degrees. But it could differ per car. At least 270 works best in games.

Not sure IRL but i also turn the rotation down to around 320 for lmps. Actually my race car setup is entirely different than my road car setup. I dont believe any of my wheel settings are the same. Ahh the beauty of being able to save multiple settings;)

Sorry for dragging this OT. Last one I promise.

Do you save individual setups across your wheel for one game.

How many if you don't mind. I'm thinking 2 general ones 900/450 degrees.

I'm pretty sure F1 is around 210. They aren't designed to take your hands off the wheel so anything over 180 will get painful.
