ISR relies on exclusives or "scoops". When we had the Fanatec scoop for three straight years.. I help test that wheel and find flaws in it only to be shunned because Thomas thinks I won't be objective.. Oh and Thomas.. you're welcome for all the things I did for you while working for you as a contractor.

Take one for the team. I think you all need to tell Thomas to do so and ship the wheel.. We're sure as heck not going to buy one.. Im not one to hold a grudge, but there's no way Im reaching out to him..

His loss really because we had a lot of shows that we were going to use that wheel in..

If all fanatec wheels have a ffb/damper issue on pc, why did they give the CSR 9/10?

amf7 good luck with your site, I've said enough on this topic. If you feel the need to attach people because your feelings have been hurt over Fanatic.

It is getting sad, this "Sim Hardware Forum" has so many spiteful people who hear one mention of Fanatic in any negative context become aggressive and immature who attach people. I as a Fanatic owner have seen this so many times in this Forum.

Not one single person here said anything about Darin's integrity until he quit, then like sharks you attack him. You should be proud of yourself's. Like I said, go over to ISR and tell him this to his face and stop making excuses.

No, just curious. I have 2 T500'S, 2 sets of CSP's, a GT2 Wheel, on the way is a Derek Speare pro sequential shifter, CTS pedals. I owned a G27 and a couple of old Madcatz Wheels and Sega wheel.

My sim days go back to the early to mid 80's. I was more curious because I noticed a lot of Fanatec owners in here are really touchy about anything they perceive as negative Fanatic talk.

That is not evidence, but you have every right to question his integrity. Like I suggested, tell him, not me.

as you saw in the video he said how great it was.. then he "leaves" and the wheel becomes dog ****... is that spiteful..

he also claims he would change the CSR to a 7 now due to the amount of faults... He has no number refrence.

That is why I will no longer take ISR seriously. To.clear this up... I.will not take them seriously in terms of wheel reviews.. software reviews I will..

He also said ISR will not buy the wheel..

I don't see why if they are pleasing there fans... Top gear bought a $40000 muscle car for crying out loud..

Hrm... these guys being Fanatec reps and thus biased even if they don't want too (psychologically it will influence anyones judgement at some point), it just gives their reviews from at least the recent past and surely future a less believable tone.
Besides that, even though Fanatec has a monopoly on the xbox from Microsoft (another monopoly minded company), I do think their products are too expensive overal. As in too much high end big wallet targeted. I'll stick to my T500 RS & no Forza.&#65279;

I even attacked Fanatec for having a monopoly. Which isn't really something Thomas could change though in hint sight, it's Logitech and Thrustmaster that need to come with a CSR Elite competitor now.

Also I have to take back the last bit as well. I own a T500 RS which I paid 450 euros for and complain about Fanatec being too expensive. A stupid statement of me how it's written there.
What I actually wanted to say but I wrote it down pretty idiotically there, is that because you have to pay a lot for the wheel alone without pedals. So if you add any pedal set it because more expensive then the average consumer wants to spend on a wheel in general. Thus they are for the more serious race gamer.

Anyhow, it's about the first part.

Wrong in that my friend. I said right from the start i felt his integrity was compromised when he signed on with fanatec, and stated so. Well, i guess i criticized the future integrity of the show rather than darin himself, but that is rather moot point as they are essentially one and the same in this case.

I actually saw Thomas reply to a post on the iracing forums which backs this up. The beta tester Michael Mann posted a pic of a large NASCAR type wheel and Thomas hinted that they would be making something like it in the future.

I had asked a couple weeks ago ( during the last episode of ASWT ) about starting a general off topic thread hear as we usually drag all conversations off topic anyway. And was shut down.

Things really went off topic, posting my grievance of amf7 posting a link about Darin in an argument in another forum which has zero relevance here.

Then some of you guys decided that it's ok because "darn" Darin said something bad about Fanatic.

Go back the last six months and you can count all the "Fanatical"regulars, if anyone even mentions anything bad about Fanatic they all come out of the woodwork attacking them.

Go over to the Thrustmaster threads, if some has a problem it is ok for them to say so. Some of you guys here I honestly don't understand.

Not one of you question Darin's ethics until he quit, what does that say about you?
