Martinez then. Since van der Vaart and Kroos aren't defensive at all, whilst Martinez very much is. And he's certainly elite, when you consider he does play for Bayern.

Or Bender for that matter. He might be non-rare but he does everything a CDM needs. High attacking workrates and stamina, great tackling, great interceptions.
 
I'll look him up. I only play on Ultra Defensive though, and Felipe Santana and Boateng don't give much up in the middle. If Kroos doesn't start to pick up, I may switch him with Martinez. Van Der Vaart is my favorite of the two so far, and I haven't switched him to 4-4-2 and I already did Kroos :confused:.

About to play an 86 overall team with 100 chemistry, welcome back to D1...

If I were making a Bundesliga team, this is what it would look like:

I would alternate between Dost and Arnautovic, and at the back I would alternate between the three there and Felipe Santana (i.e. I'd leave one of them out of the starting 11). That would probably only cost 55k at most.
 
Wiese is an awesome value, and I like Gebre Selassie as my RB. Santana and Boateng are good CBs, and if I ever get 8k to burn I'll get Alaba. I got Kroos, Van Der Vaart, and Javi Martinez for less than 5k each, and I alternate Klose, Mandzukic, Esswein, and Diouf up front whom I all got for less than 2k. I think my next buy will either be Mario Gomez or Gotze, then I'll start saving up for Reus, Schweinsteiger and maybe get Robben or Ribery before Fifa 27 comes out.

I won!!! 7-0-1 in division 1, I'm kinda surprised at myself.

First two games of the next season? I knew they'd be retribution losses but I didn't expect my keeper to turn into a guy unable to pick up the ball, causing two stupid one goal losses.

Picked up Essien for ~2k, great buy so far, just what I needed in midfield to partner Nainggolan (who is my pacey central midfielder). Zabaleta is my new right back and is doing a good job, made some small profits on some sales as well, which is helpful.

I just sold an Essien for around that price. You might have picked mine up.

Just checked how much my Liga BBVA team is worth if I were to sell it right now. Well over the 300K mark. If I ever decide to sell it and get another team. I'm thinking a Argentina National team would be nice but, I don't have 1Mil for Messi which is a bit lame.
 
Oh darn. I may try to figure out how much my assets are worth, plus the 65k I have now. I'm pretty sure a million for Ribery and Robben is too much though.

Kinda wanted to buy a Kaizer Chiefs or Red Bull jersey till I saw the price :scared:.

And Messi went down? The lowest I'd ever seen him at was 1.3 million.

Did some FUT Seasons matches earlier.

Vagner Love is very overpowered. Came up against a guy who had a Brazilian team, 99 chemistry, 81ish for skill. Fortunately he couldn't defend to save his life, but I somehow pulled a 4-4 draw out of it with lots and lots of defending. The way he was getting past my CB (78 pace) and RB (84 pace) was just mad.

Online is great fun. I had a 2-2 draw in a game that the other guy completely dominated, I seem to be able to take my chances when I get them. Cardozo is great in the air as well, good value too, I recommend you looking at him if you want a target man. Not very quick, but has a good left foot. Despite not using skill moves at all, I seem to not be affected by just playing old-fashioned passing game. One of the players I came up against would bring his keeper out so often, I'd be like 40-yards from goal and have a keeper on top of me, oddly off putting, I was expecting to be able to smash him, think I won 2-0 in the end.

I seem to be able to maintain a connection to EA Servers now \o/

They need to work on the commentary AI, my second game of the season was being talked about as a must win game, as was my third, despite winning two on the trot...
 
The best is when you're undefeated and in the game to get past the relegation point, and if you go down a goal they'll say you can regroup in the lower division. Or if you're up more than one and the other guy scores they'll say the same thing they would have if you scored.

That's what pace seems to do lol.

One thing that I have never understood about Division online play is that, if you are moving up divisions, you are obviously playing players that are better because they had to beat all of the people before to move up to the next division. Why in the hell do you have to score more points to stay up and move up in the higher divisions?

It doesn't matter, EA decides when you win or lose. If I can win division 1 in eight games and then get relegated the next season, that's not a problem with my skill level, that's problem with scripting.

It sure is and right now I can't even get out of division 2 because my team are being so lazy and giving up the most stupid goals. I have some teams that should be very good but I can use a average team and do just as well, annoying. I'm not the best player but I know I should be winning at least half of the games I keep losing.:grumpy:

I might just turn full assists on too seeing as everyone else seem to have them on.👎

whooooo, just own the FA cup with aldershot town :D. my route included a trip to manchester twice( well city were at wembley in the semi's), the toons coming down, and beat spurs in the final on penalties :D. thats a week well spent :D

Don't even have FIFA 13 as yet :lol:

My friend just advised me to sell my teams before they depreciate in value, which happens very quickly right now on FUT. Taking his advice. Hopefully I don't go spending it all on Happy Hour packs.
 
I figured they already depreciated? I already unloaded one team for a loss, might as well hold onto the three good ones I have and have won with.
 
I think I sold every player for a loss. Granted, I was more committed to getting rid of them than getting a profit out of it, but depreciation hit the EPL team pretty hard.

Bought about 2 Happy Hour packs so far. Nothing good, though the 2nd one came with a Soldado, Khedira and Gold Squad Fitness. That's the best one so far.
 
I got Kaka and Lichtsteiner from my 5 Happy Hour packs. Not to mention a few other goodies that I can sell for decent amount of coins. So, I can't understand why so many people have bad luck with their packs lol. I've gotten 3 IF cards. Granted all in the same week, and 2 sell for quick sale value but, 3 IF is still nice.

The 2 teams that I am playing with a lot right now. I still have my Premier League, La Liga, and Brassia team to play with though.

Probably because EA sees you as the guy that's dumped $100+ into Ultimate Team :lol:. After I play a couple more seasons this weekend I'm either gonna buy Götze or Reus. Whoever suggested Javi Martinez, thank you because he's working.

Save the coins and get Gotze. Reus has a really nice Pace stat but, his downfall is that his agility and the time that it takes for him to get to top speed is horrible. It takes half the pitch for him to get going. As a CF I think that Van Der Vaart is better and much cheaper.
 
Sounds like a plan. Not sure whether to save up for Schweinsteiger or Lahm after that.

Hard to say. I haven't played with either yet on FUT. I'd like to eventually upgrade to Lahm on my Bundesliga team but, I feel his stats are not what they really are. Lahm is an amazing player in real life. I really respect a Defender that has a great shot on him as well.

Yeah, they are pretty expensive. Ribery is 700K right?

I'm about Half way to Lahm right now so, I'm going to give him a shot here shortly.
