For anyone playing Career Mode, I can't recommended Lacina Traorè strongly enough. He is a monster!
Traore is pretty stupendous. Someone who is 6'7" should not have 79 pace, yet he does.
Been playing UT today and it's been nice. Had an outing with all three of my teams again. Eredivisie team was probably the weakest, which is to be expected, seeing as it is the weakest. Tried Altidore today but he seemed rather inconsistent, ballooning easy shots over but scoring a nice chip shot today as well.
My Serie A team was best again today. Played a handful of games with them today, tried out Borja Valero for the first real time today and he was superb. Hardly played a pass wrong, was all over the pitch in good spots, even got a nice long shot goal right after asking "How good is his long shots?" Needless to say, the shot gave me an answer right away.

Certainly recommended, and because he's Spanish, he can link up Serie A/Liga BBVA easily. Lamela was also awesome today, the way he hits his finesse shots beggars belief, even if he doesn't always seem to live up to his skill level. Gomez also did well as always, and gave Milito a try as well, was certainly good enough for me. An Argentine front three like that creates chaos for defenses.
I only played one game with my 4-3-2-1 hybrid but it was a good one, in the featured cup against Chelsea. Arnautovic was superb, and Narsingh scored a properly quality goal, got onto a through-ball, just went round John Terry like he wasn't there and hit a perfect finesse into the net. Beautiful. Juninho was also a great asset today.
I also saw one of my mates' Argentine teams today, and I was distinctly underwhelmed by it. His goalie was Krul, who is Dutch, he was using Lamela in the wrong place, at RM, and he had kept him at RW anyway (in a 3-4-1-2! what

), his LM was fast but had was only 3*, his CMs were both CAMs, which is death in a 3-back formation, and he had possibly the two most overrated players in the game on the team in Pastore and Zarate, who honestly do nothing that anyone else will do. And at the end of all of it, he only got 95 chem anyway because he had left so many player's positions as they were. This is what I'd have an Argentina team like:
The goalie might look weak, but he really isn't: he's genuinely among the top bronze keepers in the game, maybe even in the game period. Honest.
Zabaleta is kinda enforced because there are no other good RBs. Mascherano is the best pure defender in the game, no joke. Garay is very solid, Monzon has incredible shooting stats. I would alternate between him and the super-fast Ansaldi.
D'Alessandro is 5* and has the dribbling, Guinazu provides defensive cover, Lobos is a fairly decent player.
Lamela's dribbling is sublime, Gomez is very well rounded and Araujo is very, very underrated.
I'm already part of the way there obviously because I already have Lamela and Gomez, even in the right positions. But the whole team overall costs just 40k, and nearly 3/4 of the price comes from Mascherano and Monzon. And yet there's hardly a weakness in it. Only the lack of pace is a slight issue, with Gomez being the only player with true real pace, and even then he isn't as fast as the top. But honestly, you don't need pace.
And with that, I now have the rest of my weekend to enjoy on this thing.
