The first IF I got was on FIFA 12, long after its best days, a bronze Korean CB who was effectively worthless. I wish I could have got IF El Shaarawy or IF Melo when they were still around in packs.

Head to head. As in, the squads outside of UT. Or seasons, or career squads, if you'd prefer. But I commonly refer to them as head to head squads.

EA did a similar thing last year but none of the players made UT...however some players previously not in UT have been put in this time, so there's no telling if they'll get put in for a Winter update or whatever.

Went ahead and made one more big investment before the market crashed. Is Van Persie for 55,500 a good price? I saw it on buy it now with 59 minutes left so I went ahead.

Yes! First game with RVP, I play against IF Rooney, IF Suarez, IF Hernandez, IF Kompany, IF Bale, IF Evra and normal Toure, among others. I win 1-0, guess who your goal scorer is? The Dutchman with a contested shot that slides into the bottom corner from at least 22 yards :D.

With 5 games to go, I needed 6 points to win D1. With 2 to go, I need 4. EA sucks.

Wow.. then I get some guy with a messed up team (like striker in goal and center backs up front) and he quits at the opening kick off. And EA gives me a loss. There was a little period when I didn't hate EA but today has renewed my interest in each affiliate of the entity burning in hell. Maybe not that much but you get the point.

Considering going 4-3-1-2, but afraid to lose Hernandez' pace and Valencia's crosses.

In the past UT's IF prices have risen over time, like over a few weeks/months. You just have to hope that a better IF doesn't come out a few weeks later
*thinks back to the beastly Naldo from UT12*. lost about 60k when they released the 2nd version :grumpy:
 
Maybe for my birthday EA will screw up and drop an advance version of 2nd IF Messi in my club... :sly:

Why would there be a TOTW Messi this week? He didn't have an outstanding game. Just scored his usual 2 goals per game to get 86 in a calendar year. Early TOTS is what he needs.
 
I feel like the record is enough, and I didn't see many other people with outstanding stats (albeit ESPN only shows scores of "important" games).

No it's real and he's in packs until the next TOTW is out. He is rated 86 because of him getting 86 goals but it's basically the normal Messi with improved shooting and silly people are paying 5 million for him.:crazy:

50k has quickly transformed itself into 10k, thanks to that 86 Messi. No luck, and now, no money. I still don't have the game for myself as yet, getting it this week though, then I'll just buy up some FIFA points and go crazy. Have to pass out a friend of mine who has 260k trade profit, and about that much coins as well.
 
So, Manager's have this 3% contract bonus thing, right? Yet, it doesn't even add an extra match for the 28 match player contract, am I missing something is this a useless feature? Can you have two staff with contract bonuses active?
 
You can have up to 50% worth of a bonus with having a bunch of managers in your club. Like I get 42 games per 28 game card.

Which means in addition to my active manager, there are probably 20 managers sitting in my club (had to buy some silver and bronze ones because the remaining gold ones got too expensive).
 
I don't think I'll ever buy FIFA again..

Just had an ultimate team game where I conceaded 8 scrappy goals.. 8 ****ing scrappy goals.. And still managed a draw

Then I went and played PJ and conceaded 3 scrappy goals to which my controller found itself in a thousand pieces all over the floor with the battery hanging out after being smashed into a wall.. Now because of that I can't play my playstation..

4 goals in 2 games. Seems pretty TOTW worthy to me. Although Falcao is still the man of the year for me. I don't care if Messi scored 88 goals in a calendar year. We just kind of expect that lol.

:lol: That's what FIFA likes to do a lot. You signed out partway through after I scored the last goal, which was caused by a deflection, wasn't it? Good game, nevertheless.
 
I just know the game beforehand had me really frustrated. And the fact I have yet to beat any friend online in FIFA even though I'm in Division 1.. :grumpy:
 
A guy I was playing in online FUT seasons got lucky against me and won 4-2, all lucky breaks, it was always going to be close, but one of those games you fancy.

That all said, defending is tough in this game, knowing when to stand/slide tackle, etc. It's frustrating and brilliant in equal measures.

Also, Jesus Navas keeps tickling my fancy as my RM replacement, yay?
