And I suppose give you some of the car/driver thumbs...what kind of size are we going for?

Same size as the purple one works for me.

Hey can I change my car number? I've decided I'd rather go with #34 instead of #29

#34 is already taken. :)

Edit: Reserve drivers watch out for incoming PM.

note: There's a chance I wont make the first race at Trial Mountain, seeing as it takes place on my birthday. And here in Canada, turning 19 is equivalent to turning 21 in the States.

I'll try to make it. Just depends on what my plans are for the weekend.

Have a good time. I see what your talking about. :sly:👍

Don't have too much fun Mule. You shall leave us but a Mule, and return a Buck.

To those I send PM's to this morning, it doesn't looking like it's going to work. Times are spread out too much.

No, it's better. You have full nude strip clubs.
Needless to say my 19th birthday was not celebrated on my side of the bridge.

18 in here in the west. ;)

Ironically, Mule may be giving ME a present on his birthday: his spot on the grid. How nice of him.
:O

I had been thinking, if you just pick a given time maybe some from either division could/would transfer, etc so what's left don't all need the same time frame to work out?

Maybe making D2 start 1 hour earlier or something? It would actually suit me. 10PM EST is a little late for my little bro, he has to sleep for school.

Oh and 1000th post! :D

Not a bad plan. I think the one time range that stuck out the most in those PM's was 5-6pm EST.

haha, you're asking for disappointment.

A 3rd division? I wonder how that will work out. It will give more drivers a chance to join in for sure.

Yeah not going to work. I just wanted to give the fast drivers in reserves a chance to race, but the large variation in times isn't going to make it work, even if I allow people to move around.

So just forget it for now. ;)

Edit: Poll added to the thread. Please vote for your choice.

Just gonna put this out there - running quali right before race and actually getting lined up in proper order doesn't seem to work anymore.

I kind of prefer right before the race, but lining up will still need done, from what I've seen lately. We tried it over in 3D3 twice in a row, I think it's a new glitch to watch out for, maybe I'm wasting this cause it's already known, idk.

Hm, weren't we gonna do rolling starts?

I didn't find it in a quick check, figured I'd put it out there that even after qualifying right before a race, it seems grid order will need setting up anyway, from what I've seen recently, I assume it's new for spec II, cause we did it with the Z06's so many times and it always worked.

Hmm on the CTSCC series we run a 10 min. qualy before race and the grid is always set up correctly. I had a race today and no problem regarding grid set up. Make sure you have the session set to Fastest First. If it does set up the grid wrong, there is the rolling start to arrange the positions.

I asked what people thought and it was quickly shot down, so no.

If anyone leaves the track and/or goes into their settings, that could mess things up.

My reasoning for putting up the poll is that it would give everyone the chance to qualify for the race on Sunday. Yes, the slower drivers probably wouldn't make it into the race, but that shouldn't deter them from trying. My only problem with the knock-out format is that I don't get home until almost 7pm Pacific, so I would need one of the Euro guys to help with that.

But judging by the poll so far, we likely won't go that route...

before I vote ... what's a "knock out session"? that what we're calling the live hot lap qualifying we usually do?

That's what I was under the impression of.

Also, for us IS-F guys, Turbo mentioned some sort of "reunion" race at Spa, and after driving the car there, I second this 100%. I swear, Spa can make any car fun to drive*.

* Yes, even the Red Bull.
