Forza 4 Demo Thread

Thank you, Sephy. I haven't had the chance to try the Cougar, but it looks fun on the video. I despise this demo because it wants me to be comatose until the 11th.

Dark Souls comes out tomorrow and that will tie me over until FM4. Since I have both consoles, i'm gonna be playing FM4 on one T.V. and Dark Souls on the other. lol.

ANYWAY, even though the Cougar was the slowest car I had the most fun with it. Such a cool/fun car to drive.

And the sound!! I actually had the most fun with the Zonda. I was not big on the constant waves of traffic on the BMW one.

I was hoping for at least 2 tracks though. I mean I am from S. Texas, we dont know what snow is anyway, so I just cant appreciate that track.

Yeah, my co-worker's getting Dark Souls, he's been talking about it for weeks. Serves me right-- I've been talking about F1 2011 and FM4 for months.

Haha, i've been playing F1 2011 on the PC and thats been a lot of fun. I was crazy into Demon's Souls when that first came out, for about a year, so i'm really hyped to play Dark Souls tomorrow.

Damn...I wanted to get that. I played DS so much...but I bought F12011, a new Wheel, Pedals, and FM4. I think my wife has my wallet now.

But the FM4 demo did get me excited for next Tuesday!

For the record having seen the evidence and trying it for myself I agree with Buttsneeze.
Have to be driving extreme for it to rear it's head but it's there alright.

The other cars are a lot of fun too but the Cougar is just such a joy. Turn off all the assists, let the other cars go, and then just drive the hell out of it around the track. It's amazing.

I want Dark Souls but it's not in the budget right now (just bought my own 360, FM4, BF3, MW3, and soon F1 2011). I will get it by January though. I played Demon's Souls so much I have to get Dark Souls.

I have not seen it. But like I said eariler, I dont use 900 degrees anyway. I am a 360 or 420 guy myself. Then you have crazy folks here claiming its there, and Dan saying its not. Personally, I dont care.

The funny thing is, watching some people get so worked up over it. Like it will ruin a game or something. People just make me laugh on how worked up they can get over something soooo trival.

Yeah pretty much, if it is there, and i'm still convinced it's not, it's extremely trival and situational.

I don't want to get into this which is why I have been avoiding it but there are videos that clearly point it out. Yes it only affects those who have 900 degree wheels but even then they shouldn't be left out. The option to have it off should turn it off, not still leave it on.

Regardless this game is going to be a lot of fun.

Yeah, my budget for the remainder of the year has dwindled. I have FM4 LCE paid for, and just enough for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection next month. Sure, they just announce a LCE for that one too. I mean, c'mon, I have another vacation to save up for!

It's not trivial at all. Every time your car loses control it kicks in very noticeably and invasively, often making the car overcorrect and spin out in situations where, had the steering been unassisted, it would've been fine.

Maybe it's inherent of the game engine. Just built up from. Legacy of 270 degrees steering in the past.

Maybe it can't be patched out without major changes to the physics engine.

Same as F1 11/11 glitch
Same as Dirt 3, 90 second stages
Same as GT5 awful AI
Same as Shift 2 magnetic cars
Same as allways.

I'm starting to get used to it all. Lol v
