So besides the horrid game breaking issue, did you enjoy the demo at all, buttsneeze? What was your favorite part?

I loved everything about the demo except the steering assist. The graphics, sounds, and physics are incredible. Which is why I'm so enthusiastic about getting the steering assist problem fixed. If I hated Forza and didn't care, I wouldn't bother. I can't enjoy it with the steering assist. It takes a lot of the challenge and control out of it, and sometimes even makes it artificially harder.

Yeah I heard the servers crashed about 14 hours ago as well. Hopefully they beef them up soon. If they can't handle the demo just wait until the full game comes out. The leaderboard shows around 50,000 which is nothing compared to what it will be when the full game is released.

No, really, your analogy sucks. Stop. If anything it makes more sense reversed. The Church of Dan Greenawalt says that simulation steering has no assists. I put forth factual evidence stating otherwise. The bishops of the Church of Dan Greenawalt deny my evidence as the work of Satan.

Ya and glitchers have already taken over the top spots on the leader boards in the traffic rivals modes. Awesome!
 
There is a difference between : "Hey I think I found something, Do you mind investigating ?" and " Yo, Turn10 you sucks, you told us there was no assist and you lie..Die your mother ..."

Of course, I am exaggerating but some members are coming off on the aggressive side of things. You do attract more bees with honey then vinegar.

Except it's not "I think this might be a problem, investigate it," it's "I found this problem, it's 100% confirmed and it needs to be fixed."

Maybe a bottle neck. Full game will have more boards. Everyone trying to get times on one board can't be good.

That's your opinion. You don't have all the facts. You don't have the source code. I work as a business system analyst. if I listen to everyone so called "Proof", I would be in trouble. Again, not saying there isn't substance to investigate but you have already jump to the conclusion.

We have the symptoms but we don't have the cause. that's the situation. You can't claim you have 100% prove unless you can eliminate all alternative causes.

I have enough hard evidence and personal experience to definitively say that there is a steering assist. You only have your own word and the word of other misinformed people.

Ever tried presenting your case without throwing insults? Why are you trying so hard to convince us dumb people anyway? We are too dumb to get it anyway. You said it already you feel like you are teaching children. There is a huge thread on the Forza forum that dont agree with you. I bet your big brain services could be used there.

Full of fanatics just like you who can't accept evidence and facts. I can't post there because they set my posts to moderated (before I even knew about the steering assist). Go have the good circlejerk.
 
Oh, and for the record, I am fully aware of Dans past lies in the steering assist manner, I have seen and read enough from respectful people, whose opinions I respect, to believe that there is an issue still, and don't think most people here mind in the slightest, including myself, if it's discussed in a respectful manner, and in proper places. This would be my point.
If by other's reckoning, my going off on a minor troll, for a few posts, after an afternoon of watching threads reduced to "your a stupid blind whatever", somehow reduces the validity of my point, then I would be inclined to agree.
That's why I will now return to my adult mode and go back to trying to read the rest of what's being said in between assaults.

You are taking everything so personal. It is everyone's right to challenge you. I fine it to be an healthy process until the name calling start. So dial it down a little and don't be so closed minded. You might find that other might have some interesting point of view on the matter.

It's everyone's right to challenge me, sure, but it's my right to call them out for being stupid for challenging what's already a proven fact.
 
what is "stupid" is assuming your only answer on hand as the only explanation without further deduction and openness to alternatives. It's call self-righteousness and if that's the case I don't think any more opinions will change your idea that anyone who believes otherwise is dumb.

can anyone try a high speed recovery and a very low speed one to see if speed is an factor?

Probably was. I seem to recall agreeing with you specifically, allthough I may not have posted such at the time. Take that for whatever you want it to mean, but to me that suggests name calling hasn't helped.
Edit: And with that, I'm done with this. I've been married twice. I know where fights of this nature end up, and it's nowhere good. :lol: ;)

This isn't something particularly complex or open to interpretation. We tested it thoroughly, we recorded videos of it, and we know exactly what's going on from the player's point of view. Maybe we don't have the code in front of us but that doesn't mean we can't tell very clearly that there's a steering assist. It's like if I paint a wall green and you all tell me it's actually red. Saying something that's green is red is not a different point of view, it's just wrong.
