@PJTierney : I honestly always ended up eyeballing it, with >5 years of technical drawing and machining experience it's become second nature to me. Anyways, I guess that with the ability to stream to W10 all you need is an app that allows you to overlay the image you want to use on top of the screen, like Ghost-It.

Based on my IRL experiences (which I can finally match with the game, yay!) the 356 Speedster's spot on.
So I'm not the only here with some experience driving a 356. My late brother owned a 1960 coupe. I was fortunate enough to be able to take it out for about a half dozen drives in the rolling foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It was a hoot to toss around and gave me a deep appreciation for lightweight cars with just enough horsepower to keep it interesting. Everything in the car is communicating with you: the tires, the steering wheel, the pedals, the seat. A constant flow of information that really drives home the fact that I'm the driver and completely involved, not a passenger just waiting for the trip to be over.

Type PJT in the description, that will work.

As for making logos, you need to get familiar with a number of shapes and how they look when you resize or skew them.

I typed PJT, then PJTierney under Find Designs. It just say New designs are constantly being added, so return to recommended designs often.........

Can't find you.

Can you make a video of yourself making a Logo vinyl with that technique, I can't imagine what you describe as your method, because I just use what ever shape looks like it might work from sight, no tracing.

I just took the 959 around a rainy Nordschleife. Very lively ride for a 4WD layout but it still saved the day when things got critical around a puddle or two. Such a blast to throw this rather humble-looking rocket around the Ring!

Just spent 2 hours customizing and tweaking my Porsche collection. Beautiful cars. All of them. I specially love the '82 Turbo. That's all what a Porsche 911 is. It even has its own turbo sound and lag!

Just got rid of the unnecessary ones like new 911 Turbo S (very disappointing, bland, generic and very un-Porsche like), the Cayenne, the GT3 4.0 (pointless if you have the GT2RS and the old 996 GT3 which is much nicer), and that weird smaller Cayenne which I even forgot the name of.

Macan(my brother has one). I was a bit bored with the Macan. The 4.0 I use as a Carrera Cup car. So, it will serve some people well.

The 930, converted to a 964 C4S, does it for me.

A 924 and 928 would complete my Porsche list but, I'm still having fun.

Some of the modern 911s like to do mini-wheelies around high-speed turns with maximum engine upgrades. Almost no steering control. Did some tuning to reduce the effect.

Are they like this IRL when overpowered?

Reminded me, while driving the 356 in the Porsche showcase events, it was three-wheeling off of curbs like a stadium truck.

Now if we do get those super trucks...

I think all the spring rates are all messed up, they're way too soft on the front. They seem to have really bad understeer and as you say the all pogo up and down at the front.

This Turn 10 Storefront system is great isn't it, another reason why I see no point in painting these days :/
I understand bro, I do it just to make my cars unique, FM6 is my 1st Forza of the series, I didn't know when I first started sharing my Designs that I was receiving credits, which I thought to be real cool, never thought it was a real business. I know my liveries can take hours to complete, with all its flaws, so I know the time you guys spend doing this should account for some real cash. So just do it for yourself because you have all the Logo Vinyls. That's what I really like, I don't really like elaborate paint jobs on my car, just A swoosh, or stripe and some Kick A** Vinyls. thnaks for trying anyhow.

Anyone else having a hard time recreating quali lap times of the 919 from 2015 wec season?

I mean i don't think of myself as a bad driver but 15 seconds off round Le Mans? They did 3:16.xxx last year, best I can manage is about 3:31.xxx and that's a super clean lap... (Lowest aero possible)

Same story round Spa... They did something like 1:54.xxx last year - I'm getting 2:02.xxx

Round Nurburgring I'm around 10 seconds slower etc - you get my point...

Is the 919 so much faster in real life? Cause I don't believe 15 seconds can be made up on a right setup alone...

Are you sure you're following their lines? They cut the last chicane quite severely in real life. Also setup + you're not a racing driver so you'll always be slower.

I couldn't find any times for the 919 high up on the leaderboards at those tracks, but it's probably because the Porsche fans are using the 962c instead.

It's lighting up some of the leaderboards. It's not even been a week and it has the top times in the world in P class on Sebring Full, Lemans Classic and La Sarthe, Spa, Indy GP Classic, Indy oval, Daytona 24 hour and Infield, and VIR Full. It has top tens on several other tracks too. I don't think it will beat the 787b at places like Sonoma or Laguna Seca, but that's still pretty cool. 👍

+1 for the classic group c cars, instead of the funny looking and boring LMP's that lack character, we have now. They are just blah to me. They drive awesome and everything, they just aren't the same as the 80's and 90's classics.

GT3 RSR.

I was avoiding it for a bit until, I decided to make an original livery.
Entered the Modern GT career race at Long Beach. Surprise surprise. That thing is awesome.
Brakes are better than any GT3 I've driven in the game. Brake, trailbrake, powering out. No oversteer. The steering turns the front at will. I was thinking it would be a handful. Not at all. It's a keeper.

I've run a 3:29 at LM and a 2:00.8 at Spa. Seems to be pretty high up the leaderboard but I don't think I'd be able to get the cars anywhere near their IRL times.

As @prousonhairy said, it's the Group C (and some older LMP) that hog the top of the P class boards.

I know Group C cars were quick but would they really go quicker around Spa and tracks like that?

Just to put that time in perspective, it was a huge deal a few years ago when the Pagani Zonda R ran a 6:47.5, over 36 seconds slower.

I really don't know for sure if they were all that faster on a lot of tracks, if at all. I would have to look up and compare times, but they sure were a whole lot cooler. :D

The GT3 RSR isn't a GT3 car.

The GT3 RSR isn't a GT3 car.

It(#43 GT3 RSR) is the only car besides the GT-1, that we can use in the Modern GT(which are mainly GT3 cars) career and Free Play events. Until T10 include the latest 911 GT3 RSR, this is all we have that is the closest to a new GT3 car.

The GT3 RSR is the GTE/GTLM spec car. The GT3 model is the GT3.R (iirc).

Aren't the McLaren, Merc and Bentley the only GT3 cars though?

Yeah, I Just had a look at how quick the ran at Spa (in 2011) and it was a 2:04 or something around there.

My posts are about the 911. The #43 is all we have that is the closest to a new GT3.

I know. The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is the GTE spec car and the 911 GT3.R is the GT3 spec car.

The other part was more saying that most of GT cars in Forza are GTE/GTLM/GT2 cars (BMW's, Ferrari's, Chevy, Porsche, Viper's) with a few GT3 cars thrown in (McLaren's, Merc, Bentley) as well as the others (Lambo's, Audi, Maserati, Aston).

Oh, yes(my edit: #45 911 GT3 RSR). :)

Things might change now that GT3 cars are allowed in North American race series. As it seems that's what T10 draw many cars from.

A memory from left field: I miss the Real Time Racing NSX. The Panoz Esperanza(?) GT was also a cool car.

Back on track. I'm currently top 15 in Asia Pacific at VIR. Ikeep finding more speed with the RSR. I'm certainly melding with this car. I actually virtually "feel" what this car is doing. Plus, prefer to drive low horsepower cars. Lap after lap, I keep pushing. I just have to keep an eye on the fuel numbers. Just too cool.
