If we are talking about the best RS it is the 993 Carerra RS hands down. The Clubsport version is even better still. But sadly we can only have 20 Porsches apparently. And we all know they will waste the opportunity to add some legendary cars in favor of a Porsche SUV. Or two. :banghead:

Sadly, T10 doesn't have last say on what gets in the game. You know Porsche has final say on which of their cars are licensed. And I'm absolutely sure Porsche is going to insist that their two best selling and most profitable cars (because they share development with VW, Audi and others in the VW Group) are in the game.

Hold on. Didn't. EA have carte blanch with all cars Porsche? I think T10 only got the Porsche pack by what EA wanted to authorise.

So just for the fun of it, what 20 cars would you like to be in the Porsche expansion? Don't worry about the cars that have already leaked. Just make your list of the 20 Porsches you most want. I just think it would interesting to see what everyone's priorities are when it comes to Porsche. Here's my list.

1955 550 Spyder

1986 #1 Rothmans Porsche 962C
1996 #25 Porsche AG 993 GT1 (Straßenversion also acceptable)
2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid

If I felt like throwing in a single obligatory Boxster at the expense of one road model in that list (probably the 944), I'd choose from the 2000 986, 2009 987 S, or the upcoming 718. Maybe also slot a 991 GT3 R in place of the 993 GT1.

Picking 20 cars is tough, but I'll give it a go. This would be seriously unlikely to ever see, not enough race cars. But it's my ideal 20 Porsches, yeah it's a lot of RS models, but this is a racing game, right? No SUVs. Ever.

Road cars:
2.7 Carrera RS
993 Carrera RS Clubsport
964 Carrera RS
996 GT3 Mk2
997 GT3 RS 4.0
996 Turbo
997 GT2 RS
993 GT2
930 Turbo 3.3
944 Turbo
968 GTS
Cayman GT4
914/6

Race cars:
917
935
996 GT3 RSR
962C
RS Spyder
993 GT2 EVO
918

Maybe one of these in the future a Singer 911:cool:

Well when we get Porsche added to forza, there will be instantly more Porsche than Mitsubishi, Vauxhall, tvr, lotus, maserati, pagani, just to name a few. It's surprising how many 20 cars really is when you consider the many other dealership models with less.

Singer will never make it into a game officially. Porsche lawyers would have a field day.

My list takes into account what we know already. So 11 of the 12 FH2 cars, the 356A, and the 919. I've bolded the new additions...

1957 356A
1970 #2 John Wyer Automotive Engineering 917K
1970 914/6
1973 911 Carrera 2.7 RS
1979 #41 Porsche Kremer Racing 935 K3

1982 911 Turbo 3.3
1987 959
1989 944 Turbo
1995 968 Clubsport
2003 Carrera GT
2012 911 GT2 RS
2012 911 GT3 RS 4.0
2012 Cayenne Turbo
2014 911 Turbo S
2014 918 Spyder
2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid
2015 Cayman GT4
2015 Macan Turbo
2016 #540 Black Swan Racing Porsche GT3 R
2016 911 GT3 RS

The Gulf-liveried, Daytona 24-winning 917 simply had to be included. It's iconic. Same with the 2.7. The Moby Dick would continue filling out the Group 5 category, so it makes sense. The Cayman GT4 seems an obvious addition, and kills off the GTS from FH2. The two 2016 cars make a lot of sense too. The 968 is the oddball; it's an unusual car, but won Performance Car's COTY title back in '93. FM6 has had a lot of unusual additions, so this seemed right.

20 cars really is too little for a company like Porsche. If I could drop both SUV's, I'd probably stick in the 993 GT2 and 550 Spyder from FM4. Maybe the GTU-class 911 to take on the RX-7. Hopefully there's truth to the EA deal being dead, and we can start seeing more Porsches after this pack.

There are 34 Ferraris. The 20 Porsches are for us to just get started. For the Porsche car list to go like for like, there would need to be added to that confirmed list:

I hope there's some truth to this aswell or at least EA allows more in some future dlc packs. I understand why EA holds a monopoly on Porsche and why Porsche allows it, but it just plain annoys me.

Singer definitely wont be in it becuase Porsche and Singer do not get along. They arent even allowed to be called "Singer 911" as Porsche have a monopoly on '911'. The lack of RUF is kind of crappy too.

I have low system requirements, just gimme the F4 or FH2 Porsche list + a few new models and I'm good.

I hope we get more Porsche's after the Porsche pack.

BUT what truth do we have about ea licensing deal being dead?

Where is the source of this rumour?

Here's one, make a 20 car list without using 911s.
Easy peasy

I keep imagining that the Porsche Mission E is in the game, Turn 10 should let this happen!

If it comes, I don't know what's a better way to say "shut up and take my money".

For most of those marques, I can't even think of 20 cars I'd want to see without going into PD-levels of obsessive trim levels. None of them have the historic cache of Porsche outside of maybe Maser and Lotus, but neither also has the mainstream popularity.

Given the Feb 25th event, I imagine if we don't hear something about Porsche next Tuesday, we'll hear it there. T10 (hopefully) won't be treating this the same as a regular DLC, and will want to drum up some excitement for it.

Its going to be a expensive dlc so I'm sure they will do something a week before release. Even though I hope Ultimate Edition Owners get 50% or something in that range.

Pricing has been pretty well established given they did this twice already.

USD$20, 10 for VIP. Adjust for your currency. The problem I had with the 1st one is I paid $32 of our funny money for the full Forza 4 disc so asking me $26 for 20 cars and some event is kind of rich.

$20 in real USD = $26 of our dollars. Once it fell to $13 I jumped.

I think Horizon was the same? I dont think they can go more than $20 really.

I admit I was trolling Asian countries and that sort with lower currencies to get cheap disc copies of Forza 4/5/6 which is what I still do now so to expect full price DLC to compensate is a bit....hmmm.
