I honestly think this game is a joke. Just takes the Simulator out of racing, just like NFS.

I'm inclined to think this puts the simulator into games like NFS.

I love track racing as much as the next guy, but there's more to cars than sanctioned points racing. This gives T10 the opportunity to show this without muddying up the main Forza series.

Thats a very good video. This will still be a rental for me unless a demo convinces me otherwise.

Sweet! Now I'm really torn between this (& a Live Subscription) and Most Wanted. I'd just like more details about the map itself and how large it is. I would like to get lost in it, just like every time I fire up TDU.

Here's part of the map.

I've seen a Focus ST, SVT Raptor and dirt roads. I'm sold

I pre-ordered the collector's edition the other day off of Amazon, at least there's a couple things to keep my occupied between now and then, like Boarderlands 2!

The more i see and hear about Forza Horizon the more i think itll be an awesome game and im more excited for this than i was for Forza 4!!

I wish i could pre-order it though..but i dont have the money for an LC edition!

I came up with an idea for a game like this once, except it's plot didn't involve a music festival in Colorado. Instead it was a deeply complex political thriller that would have left critics divided, as some proclaimed it to be Marxist propaganda, while others interpret it as a clever satire of the rise and fall of communism around the world, and the reason for said rises and falls.

meh doesnt really do anything for me, its just a up-rated TDU2 and its just got better graphics than the MNC franchise, maybe if there's a whole different car selection like ATV's for the off road sections, it would appeal to me abit more, i think they've got to remember that games like this can kill a franchise if its not done right, i really like TDU but when TDU2 came out i was bored within a week of it, its just the same old same old when you get into it. I think if they can bring back a game like midnight club where the customization was just crazy, free roam like the TDU's and the physics of the GT's and the Forza's franchise that would be a game of the year for sure

That's what it'll be like.

Well, you've got Forza's livery editor, and brilliant free roam thanks to Forza's physics.

I'm pretty sure this will be a huge success. Even if the environment isn't huge, it's still got the biggest car selection and (arguably) the best physics of any open world driving game.

Damnit, I was pretty much set on not buying FH, at least not until the price dropped a bit. After seeing that STI in the matte black paint, with the rear wing removed and new rims, I feel that it's going to be hard to resist.

I'm probably going to trade Darksiders II in and preorder FH by the end of September.

I was very interested in Horizon when it was first announced, but I have absolutely no enthusiasm for it now, and for the strangest of reasons - the guy who reviews a lot of racing games for Game Trailers is quite possible the most boring person in the world.

It's nice that I know exactly what road that is since I am from Colorado, but the bad part about it is that it's not 100% accurate. :indiff:

Anyone know when the demo is out?
Have they announced when??

I highly doubt most people will really care whether or not some road is accurate or not.

I'm REALLY excited for this game, I just hope online isn't as bad of an experience for me as it was on FM4, I would set record times for being kicked out of rooms, just for uttering Gran Turismo, or any other racing game.

I played Forza 1-4, but, Forza 4 scared me away. Now, Horizon, with this wheelspin/powerslide video... I have one question; why is it trying to be Need for Speed?
