Trust me, it isn't being funny at all. The exaltation of mediocrity plus truculence this government and his flatterers are supporting will only lead us to disaster, morally and civilizatory. That's a problem when your country is lured by far-right stupidity.
To add, this "joke" was told to deflect the fact that he is supporting illegal deforestation, for mining, agriculture and timbering purposes, in forest reservation areas. He also uses a diffused hate against indians (with 1600s sort of stereotypes) to defend this. I'm not quoting many other delinquencies, but if you search his views (prepare the liver first) for secondary subjects, that he uses to deflect real problems, this thread would be filled...
