Ragsdale allegedly continued to maintain she was a federal agent after the police arrived, to the point of “talk[ing] into her shirt like she was talking into a radio telling someone that we were arresting her and to send someone to Rockmart PD,” according to the police report.

This has happened quite a bit before. Back when Usenet newsgroups were still a thing in the '90s, pre-written obituaries would get accidentally posted fairly often by AFP. Then you'd get a day or two of panic, followed by someone finally pointing out that said obituary was pulled of placeholders and read something like "Bob Hope has died of XXXXXXXXXXXX at the age of XX, according to XXXXXXXXXXXXXX".
