The new World Rallycross Championship starts this weekend in Portugal.

Timur Timerzyanov has left Citroen for Peugeot.

Didn't slow him down much - he's in the lead after the first heats. He got disqualified for putting Petter Solberg into the barriers on one run, but had the result reinstated on appeal.

Ready for the 2014 season of Red Bull Global Rallycross? The GRC fun begins tomorrow in Barbados. The race is slated to be run tomorrow, but the telecast of the event will be shown on May 24 on NBC at 12:00 PM EDT (according to the website). Best wishes to all teams and drivers this season.

Think they're switching cars through the season.

Looks like you'll have to look on YouTube or someplace for highlights of the Barbados round. This weekend, the GRC rocks Circuit of the Americas. The action in Austin will be as frenzied as usual. Best of luck to all teams and drivers this weekend at COTA.

2012 Cars (Royal Purple Racing & Barricuda Racing)
WRC car (Hoonigan Racing Division)

1. Who is ST racing and what European spec car? all the regs are the same if memory serves.
2. Liam Doran's Citroen makes me REALLY want to own a DS3 here in the states. Here's hoping Peugeot & Citroen will be back here in my lifetime.
3. With that said, I'd be really happy if either Travis, Tanner or dare I say Pat Moro cam make the final and the podium or win

As for the European Spec car, I meant the ones that are primarily raced in Europe. Here's an example from a few years ago at X-Games:

The only Europe-based cars running this race look to be the Marklund Polos (and Doran's DS3). And the Olsbergs Fiestas are a seperate team to the World RX one 👍

I don't remember that ugly thing at the X Games, but I see what you mean. Basically theirs is a car with some factory support that was raced in Europe (I'm assuming last year with OMSE? So its a 2013 used car? ) or at the very least its the one Tanner used at Lidden hill last year

Oh, the OMSE cars here are owned by the very same team that runs in World RX


PS Doran's car is a World RX car. Because no Citroen USA

So Deegan will not participate in the final because he was penalized for "Short-cutting the course and Aggressive driving", but Nelson still gets nothing from the contact he made earlier?

Also, what happened to the LCQ? Is that no longer in effect at X-games?
